Do you really think that's air you're breathing, hmm?

A9, for some odd reason, when I picture that, your space ghost, saying that behind his desk (I LOVE THAT SHOW!) and your saying it to Vanroy who's choking to death.

Then Fred hits his drum in clasic joke tradition, and Im standing on the set with out pants on...Look what you made my picture in my head you bad bad man.

I was just reminded about that dialogue in Batman Forever - at least I think it was that one.

Robin: Holly Rusted Metal, Batman!

Batman: What?

Robin: The metal. It's rusted. It has holes in it.

:)

I really don't get what is so funny about that, I don't get the humour in rusting metal and not all metal is rusted because has holes, it is rusted if it oxidized such as having iron or copper oxide sedimites :)

I guess you would have had to see some of the "Adam West" Batman shows to appreciate the joke.

Not in the newer cartoon series and the comic books it makes a lot more sense in those :)

I always thought Batman would have been more interesting if it was just Batman, no Robin. Batman is a dark-hearted, mysterious vigilante. An interesting character. Robin, as far as I'm concerned, was there just for comic relief.

I mean sheesh, he has the fighting skills of Wesley Crusher! Have you seen the original series? He was ALWAYS getting his butt kicked!

Hey in the comic books they left Robin out for the most part and they were a lot better then the series but he was probably there for the kids :)

Oh yeah, a teenage boy running around in the middle of the night in his underwear. Good role model there.

My favourite was the time he was being attacked by a shark and said "robin! get me the shark reppellent!" Robin then looks through a small cabinet of different repellents including crocodile, then throws it down to him. Batman sprays the shark and it goes away...

Yeah, that was a classic. I mean how many sharks walk the streets of Gotham City?

exactly! i mean why oh why would batman be thinking "hm i'd better get some shark repellent just in case even though the odds are 1 to 9383837 that a shark attacks me"

Heres my question though. How does Robin become Batmans sidekick. What he do, find a kid walking on the street and give him a costume.

Maybe Batman offered him some candy or something. (Hey, it worked with Michael Jackson, didn't it?)

LOL!!!!!!! But he also lures kids in with that Never Land ranch. Has a Peter Pan ring to it so it would attract kids.

Robin was batman's sidekick because his parents died in the circus and batman took him in. The original series didn't really show how good Robin was with acrobatics for he was very tough in the movies and the comic books that did include him :D
