We left off, power had been knocked out on the new alien ship. It has still dispersed a good quantity of nebula gasses. Something with the gas and some unknown signal were effecting the patients which escaped from one of the other ships. How they work together and for what purpose remains unknown.

I'm still disturbed we can not scan inside those ships.

It's mostly the alloy composition used.

+Aegis+ Sample is collected. Holding it in a stasis field. We're okay here, but we're in biosuits.

Let's bring that sample here and let medical get a look at it.

Keep it at a distance. They could regain power or even blow their holds and release the rest of that gas.

It may be possible if we are close enough we could transport in.

I don't know that I'd want to risk that.

What do you think of that signal? Can we easily block that frequency?

Absolutely. We can modulate shielding to block particular frequencies pretty easily. Just needed to know what frequency we need to block.

Captain, we can use a breach shuttle to get in.

Get those shielding mods to Athena, Kirishima, and Halifax as well as the colonies.

Now, can we block it on a more local level? Say, a boarding party? (edited)

Maybe if they were to send out a signal that would cancel with that frequency?

I'll work on a type of EMP as well, in case things to south.

Destructive interference - since we know what frequency we're dealing with now.

If we cut our way in, we'll likely not get nebula gas coming in, since the gases in the ship will vent out instead - but that will obviously risk anyone in the area we're entering at.

Which I know you know - it's just a confirmation fo what we're looking at doing.

We should be able to form a solid seal between the shuttle and their hull. Cutting through will maintain pressure. Just in case, we should go in suited up. We can also add the frequency jamming to the suits.

We have to send out the anti-wave.
