We pick up just exiting the nebula with 18 alien ships also following behind in our general vector.

I thought you'd just replicate new clothes each time.

Single use disposable clothing sounds like something from Idiocracy. Probably because it was.

Sound waves hitting hard enough to get dirt out from between fibers is probably gonna destroy the clothes in the process.

+com+ Purpose and intentions of this fleet are unknow. If things turn violent I believe Athena can take out quite a few of them. Their weapons are not as advanced but they have the numbers on us.

No, it doesn't. Shall we circle around behind them? And if so...may I ask intent?

Two reason. One, more time to observe them. Two, if they do engage the planet I would like to be in a position to flank them.

As I said, they have numbers on us but sandwiched between Aegis' defenses and us we have a better chance against them.

Knowledge however would be prefered. If we can learn something, or anything about them we might be able to come up with less drastic measures.

If those gasses from the nebula can be carried along this far through warp, that raises some concerns. Even more if they are trailing the substance on purpose.

That substance was in their transmission, or the data about it.

I wonder if they suspect we are here and are trying to lure us out. Why they'd need a fleet to do that is another question, though perhaps they do plan to target the base regardless - or don't know what resources might already be on the way from Starfleet.
