USS Manticore - Mondays 10 ET - Command Staff: (CO) Captain McFly, (XO) Kansas Kenickie

U.S.S. MANTICORE BRIEFING #1310 STARDATE 52502.24

The crew is taking a team building exercise disguised as a vacation at Disney World! A full planet theme park and resort. As the crew participates in their mandatory fun, they have noticed a number of oddities around the park. Later as everyone sat down for lunch, a disgruntled Bajoran took exception to Faldek's attendance and engaged in an altercation which resulted both to be taken in by security. It didn't take long before Faldek was returned to the crew, although this time much more... cheerful. Meanwhile, back at the resort, Bren and Lt Kelp try to find Lt Backpfeifengesicht who, after throwing a tantrum, swam off into unsupervised waters. They find a pipe deep underwater which appears to be sucking in everything around it. Bren is joined by Sierra Robinson and the two travel upshore following the pipe. They reach a factory far from the guest quarters and they sneak inside to find all matter of sea life chopped up and fed into the resort's replicator systems. Unfortunately they also found one of the comm bands all the cetaceans wear chewed up inside one of the gears. They were chased out of the factory but now have to deal with the harsh reality. McFly has decided to learn more about what's going on by sneaking into the underground tunnel network for employees. He's taking with him Kansas, Tevek and Harnett. Meanwhile, Faldek created a diversion by parading through the park and gaining everyone's attention while the team were able to sneak inside the staff only area. They donned disguises and searched the office complex to find disturbing information about the park. Matt was also able to find a code to a golden lift that brought them up into the signature castle in the middle of the park. Inside was the office of the current CEO, Manticore's favorite Ferengi, Mork.

Mork, every bit of this information is going straight to Federation intelligence and this place will be shut down in a matter of days. I'm not worried about what you can give me.

::looks at everyone then looks back at Mork; sighs:: Alright, what do you want?

:: Crosses his arms as Mork yells ::

Yeah, I already dressed as Elsa earlier today... story of my life whenever I come here, being mobbed by a bunch of little girls everywhere I go.. ::sighs::

Mork, you might have some of the Federation bureaucrats in your pocket, but I doubt even they'll be able to save you once they learn you've been selling weapons to the Cardassians.

::starts skipping down the hall when he spies a door labeled "Armory", he stops and swipes the access card, then enters, still whistling::

# THE LIGHTS IN THE SECURITY STATION GO DARK; EVERYONE IS CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON; THEY HEAR A WHISTLE IN THE DISTANCE; IN THEIR HEADS THEY HEAR THE WORDS "You got a friend in me"; SUDDENLY FROM THE SHADOWS ONE OF THE GUARDS IS KICKED IN THE FACE; THE OTHER IS SLAMED TO THE DESK AND HE FALLS TO THE FLOOR; A DEVICE FLIES OUT OF THE DARK CORRIDOR AND TO THE NECK OF A THIRD GUARD; IT'S A SHOCK COLLAR AND STUNS THE GUARD AND HE TOO FALLS TO THE FLOOR UNCONCIOUS; FALDEK THEN EMERGES FROM THE SHADOWS; HE ADMIRES HIS WORK AND RESTARTS HIS WHISTLING

These toys now have a story of their own... ::goes around whistling and smashing the Disney police up, all while smiling and laughing::

Mork, you're not just going let my crew free, you're going to end your weapons and people trafficking immediately. And you're going to undo all of the brainwashing that's been done to your workers AND reunite all those children with their parents.

I wouldn't mind watching Lion King again... just not the live action version please. (edited)

::Sighs, rips part of the curtin down and starts to tie Mork up::

::skips down a hallway, hearing footfalls in the distance and a door opening, stops and heads that way, still skipping::

Marder> :: approaches a door and unlocks it..he peaks in where...he sees Sierra Robinson secured to a chair with the Opening Credits of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves... showing on the viewscreen .. A brief satisfactory smile...and he secures the door again ::

::starts whistling "The Circle of Life", still heading down the hall::

Oh, right. Mork, I'm also going to need the whereabouts of my dolphin crew that was captures earlier in your gross seafood plant? Do we even call it that? And you're also going to give heir Doctor all of the data regarding your brain washing machines. We need to make sure there's no residual issues.

Marder> :: Walks over to A Communication's Panel he activates the COMM :: Additional Security needed in Central Casting.....Escaped Prisoner...Danger One. :: taps the COMM to shut it off and hears someone humming the Lion King ::

::still faint:: Fine, fine. I have nothing left, just take it all.

::runs, going off the wall, and doing a side flip, and swings his batons at Marder::

:::LEts then work on them work on the computer, not an expert herself... plus she has Mork to play with::

Marder> :: did not know the the Casters implemented rudimentary super hero training in the video Faldek had to watch and is levelled .....sent to the ground out cold.....:::

# IN THE END ALL OF OUR HEROS RETURN SAFELY TO THE RESORT; THEY CONTINUE THEIR VACATION FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK GIVING ALL THOSE BRAIN WASHED WITH DISNEY PERSONALITY TIME TO WEAR IT OFF; DOCTOR TEVEK NOW BEGINS TO ENJOY HIS VACATION AS HE READS UP ON THE BRAIN WASHING MACHINE AND ALL THE RESIDUAL SIDE EFFECTS IT CONTAINS; HE ENLISTS THE HELP OF MISTER HARNETT AND THE TWO READ IN SILENCE WITH THE OCCASIONAL "FASCINATING" TO BREAK THE QUIET; LT BACKPFEIFENGESICHT IS RETURNED TO THE CREW UNSCATHED; HE IS SUBSEQUENTLY TAUNTED BY THE OTHER CETACENAS FOR THE REST OF THE VACATION ABOUT NEARLY BEING EATEN BY A FERENGI; MCFLY AND KANSAS ARE REQUIRED TO CHANGE ROOMS THREE TIMES AND FINALLY GIVEN A SECLUDED BUNGALO DUE TO "DISTURBING THE PEACE"
