Interesting What If

Sometimes I like to play with ideas.

I hit one I think a lot of Star Trek fans would love to debate among other fandoms.

It's Deep Space Nine, season #8, so the Dominion War is over.

Morn walks into Quark's.
Followed by Norm of Cheers fresh from a transport from Boston has decided to grace D.S.9 with his presence.
Wait for it the final drinker is Homer J. Simpson! Yes, that lovable patriarch of The Simpsons has left Springfield USA and arrived at Quarks.

They all take a seat, Quark knows what they want to drink, and either has it in the replicator, or in stock. Hearing Duff confused him to no end, muchless why Duffman demanded to make commercial appearances during this contest. Oh-yeah!

They are all here to have a drinking contest, as in who can drink who can under the table. Quark is making latium over fist here, since all three of these men are getting a 50% discount on their drinks, usuaully in a drinking contest drinks are on the house. He is selling broadcast rights, merchandise, even empty beer mugs as commemorative items. People are paying so much to see this live he closed the casino, except on who will win! His dream of a small moon is done, he is considering a small planet.

To determine a winner, you need to be standing. Score is made by amount of drinks and how long you have been drinking, so 1 hour 1 beer, meh. 1 hour 5 beers, higher score.

Who wins and why?

My money is on Homer of all people. Homer has a track record of not just drinking at Moe's. He has a track record of drinking at home. Which means he knows how to hold his beer so to speak. I think Norm can't keep up with Morn. Morn is usually shown drinking small drinks, like shots, not full beers like Homer, so Homer can handle volume better than Morn. The diluted alcohol will give him that edge, since while he is consuming the same percentage if not more than Morn.

Honestly I'm going Homer for all the same reasons. He's definitely got more experience pounding down drinks than I've ever seen Norm or Morn do.
