Item 2, USS Freya will be departing with her new Captain in 5 days. Any personal items still on board, would be best to gather those up soon.

Item 3, in the neighboring sector of space the Kentalian Regime has collapse from an internal rebelion.

There is some fear that elements of it's military will try and use the nebula surrounding our sector as a hiding ground.

I also have word from both colonies that they wish to aid in more research into this planet. There's more than a few questions we've brought up that still need to be answered.

That reminds me, on a personnel note, Muuhi has applied to Starfleet's science division as opposed to medical. She has yet to hear back, but we are quite a distance away. Her training is in the biological and neurological.

Good for her, I think she'd do well in that role.

I am willing to grant her a position, she has shown a willingness to help out.

Her first hurdle is learning to read and write Federation standard.

Well, I think we do have an adult school in the colony, no?

No, not really. I was going to inspect some land vehicle designs later today.

I have a shuttle type of project. But it's not ready just yet. Just something in my spare time.

Just make sure it is tested fully in simulators first.

And careful with actual flight tests. Our airspace is getting busier by the day.

Our potential future scientist was unsure how she would be placed in the hierarchy. She's not from any existing structure. I guess she was wondering would she have any rank?

Assistant is the best I can offer her at the moment.
