That strange Garnoopy family

I found a major inconsistency in the Garnoopy family tree, something just not possible. I deleted the unimportant stuff but check out the Garnoopy family's STSF profile:

<<begin exerpt>>

File Name: Garnoopy Family

Last Updated: 50311.04

Name: Lieutenant Commander Garnoopy

Age: 34 Earth Years

Relation: Twin to Doctor Garnoopy

Name: Doctor Garnoopy

Age: 29 Earth Years

Relation: Twin to Lieutenant Commander Garnoopy

<<end exerpt>>

Now can someone tell me how twins can be 5 years apart?

Yeah, that Mrs. Garnoopy must have a big heart. I mean how many people could handle three little Garnoopys running around (that I know of) *and* adopt a Klingon brother? (Say, what happened to that one anyway?)

Hey there,

How do you know there were only three? For all we know, there were 20 and the others seemingly "vanished" one Halloween night.

Like I said, there are three that I know of. I guess I should have specified 3 *human* Garnoopys. The Klingon who used to bang on my Ops panel on the Reaent would be a 4th.

The answer is simple, there is not one Doctor Garnoopy, but TWO! There is not one LTcmdr Garnoopy, but TWO! Hence we have two sets of twins, which makes six Garnoopies, total. Hmm, I smell good . . . labour pool here, yes, yes, yes!

Come to think of it, he did log in under two different names at the same time once - and I can't even stay logged in with the name I have!

We never did figure out how the Garnoopy twins can be different ages, did we?

Dumbass..dont be silly.

Everyone knows that only identical twins need to be born on the same day. Regular twins can be born apart.

No, I don't think we ever did. LOL.. Orginally, that's how I made all my Seibens to be. But I didn't think that was logical, and made them cousins. (With my Hood Seiben being the great-great grandfather of the Republic Seiben). Pretty logical, eh? But , getting back on topic, maybe.. they're fraternal twins? I don't know. :) It's probably just one of life's (and certainly STSF's )greatest mysteries, isn't it? :P

I've got it! They were test-tube babies. The fertilized egg split and they had the first Garnoopy and froze the egg for 5 years.
