We left off with the beings behind the radical dimensional redecorating showing themselves, in a way. The computer has translated their signal into a holographic image which seems to be trying to communicate visual.

How deep is the translation database on visual only languages?

Also keep maintaining the anti-field.

"Power levels are constant for now."

"Can we determine their intentions?"

"So what is happening now Doctor Sandero?"

I think we need to keep our questions and expectations for answers simple.

Hmm? Evac's done in this area, we're just checking up on some of the colonists.

::nods and asks if they can verbally communicate::

"Well yes, as the captain I believe those questions belong to you."

ACTION: Images skin ripples dark. Computer verbalizes this as "What?"

::shocked by the reply:: Amazing,

::Nijil:: For the moment, the Dr is doing just fine.

::taking several glances back towards the field, watching it's retreat and the scorched ground left behind.

::takes a seat in the lounge after finishing treating a patient, serves herself a glass of ratkajino::

ACTION: Gestures similarly as before. Computer attempts a translation. "We are we."

:: Joins Sandero :: "What is that?" :: sits ::

::to being:: What is your name?

It's ratkajino, a beverage that gives you energy. It's also an acquired taste.

ACTION: Somewhat more lively movements: "Must plant mirror. Return shadow. Finish the beginning. New Genesis."

I'd give you some, if you were able to consume liquids.

That's quite a name, unless name means something else to them.

::a bit confused::

"I...don't think I can consume. Hmm. I'll have to ask."

::to being:: What do you mean?

"Return shadow?"

It'd be interesting if you could. :;takes a sip:: Evac is finished, and those who required medical treatment are recovering nicely. Nice to have a break.

Felt like I've been awake for a week.

ACTION: Moving slower, seemingly more intently. "Must plant/start/create the mirror/image/portait. Return from the shadow/thought/simulation. Finish what was our beginning. New Beginning.

"Mirror?" :: looking puzzled :: "Are they creating their own portal or are they asking us?"

"It's good to be on a planet now is it not?"

::Being:: Do you want us to use the mirror to return your friend? ::thinks for a moment:: Have we met before?

Yeah, its a nice change compared to being on a space station.

::sends a medical report to Jyliene, evac complete, medical treatment is complete, no substantial injuries to report, sips her drink::

::receives report, passes a quick summary along to the captain::

ACTION: Gestures, " We Return progenitors. New genesis for life. Remake in their image.

ACTION: Gestures, "Imperative we complete. Erase, format, recreate the image anew. Must complete the task.

"Do they mean to convert this entire planet?"

ACTION: Gestures, "Yes."

::being:: will this affect us

ACTION: sensors pick up an increase of energy within the field, pushing back against the anti-field.

The hour actually went faster than I was expecting. Maybe it was the coffee.

If you've found coffee that speeds time, I wanna sign on as your co-author for the publication.

FYI, I'm working on a thing designing our eventual base, assuming we don't get reformated before then.

Doing this in Space Engineers. So it's fun to actually make it a functioning base.
