Just letting ya'll know that I'd like to Give the Manticore a Try on Monday.  This appears to be the only ship I can join given my work schedule.  

 

I noticed 3 positions were available...a science officer and two security/pilot personel postions. I probably would sim the later better. Given the craft mentioned are non-canon...might take me a while to get used to them. Also I noticed non-canon material mentioned in bios. I think the best thing to do is just describe him as the new guy....so he wont know every detail about the illustrious crew of the Manicore.

Yes, Manticore doesn't strictly follow ST canon.  We *do* try to enjoy ourselves, within the Star Trek world.  We may just be showing the hidden areas of the Federation that have always been there, but hidden as the crazy relative ("noo, we don't have any Black Ops ships, that wouldn't be very nice, would it?")
