USS Manticore - Mondays 10 ET - Command Staff: Captain McFly, Kansas Kenickie

= USS MANTICORE BRIEFING #1235, STARDATE 52309.04 = starfleet

= Manticore has been sent to Starbase 23 near the Romulan neutral zone to confirm a new weapon designed against the Changelings. Along the way, they received a distress call, the sender of which claims to be the son of Captain McFly and Commander Kenickie but DNA tests conclude that Erich is the real father. He does, however, bring warnings about the future. McFly decides to cautiously continue with the mission along with calling for fleet backup. Upon arrival to the station, an away team met with the woman leading the project, Dr Moira Taggert. She performed a weapons test on a compound approximating Changeling physiology. And then suddenly, Romulans! They planned to destroy the station, saying it had been taken over by Changelings. McFly was able to suspend their attack with the condition they root out any Changelings on board. = starfleet

We're gonna need all personnel to stop off at the infirmary for blood tests, I'm going to need your security people done first and then start doing phaser sweeps in all rooms, corridors, jeffries tubes... this station will have to be completely checked.

"We can't sustain another attack like this and keep up this level of care." Gila pointed to someone else to come to her for some more minor examinations.

+ Faldek + Tyrel, here. I have discovered some issues with the Transporter. Probably EPS grid related. I recommend We use the Manticore's Transporters for the time being. Should I prioritize this in case of need of evacuation.

Once someone gets tested and passes they will be paired with another passing crew member and will then not be left alone. Everyone gets tested.

They were able pinpoint the changeling's matrix which still didn't light up sensors but looked like an anomaly. But that also took scientists a while to figure out. I don't know how to make the changes myself.

Mopar, we called for support before we even arrived, and we have a little over 23 hours left in their demand.
