Holodeck Room Password Question

I was in the holodeck a while back, and just for the heck of it, I clicked on "Rooms". It showed Holodeck (10) and then below that, there was a seperate box that is apparently for a password. What is this and what is it for?

OK here is my final stand. The password box is where GMs and lounge monitors put the password in so they get the divine power to kick people out and not get Private messaged like so. I do not know the passwords and if I did I would be elimanated by Fred the GM

Nope.  Not even close.

 

My guess is that the room software they use at startrek.com gives their network administrators the ability to create private chat rooms by passwording them.

 

They certainly haven't given us any rooms like that.

I think it was just used for private rooms awhile back and no one uses or they meant to have people start up rooms but never got round to finishing it

well I dont mean to be rude or anything but from what everyone dose when their afriad and go and hide behind Dac I allways thought of her been a women the size of Madam Maxime and that if you would make her mad that she would come into the room roaring and than kill you instantly and getting steped on by high heels that big is more than a 2,000 pounds per square inch
