Interested in getting involved

Hello,

I just stumbled across this site tonight and I am interested in finding out more about getting involved with one of your sims. I did Star Trek simming in AOL chatrooms back in the late 90s/early 2000s. I hadn't thought about it in a long time, but then during the pandemic I was watching a lot of Trek, reading Trek books and I thought doing simming again would be fun. But I couldn't find any groups that did something like the chatroom simming I remembered, it was more message board/post-based stuff which I didn't find as compelling. 

Anyway, it looks like you folks are doing something more like what I remembered, so I thought it might be fun to check out. I'd be interested in learning more about your sims and how to get involved with them!

Hi and welcome! We do real time chat room sims. The best way is to start watching a sim. We're all running on Discord now. (My sim, Arcadia, runs Sun 6PM ET/9PM PT).

Welcome to STSF. I run the Manticore sim on Mondays 10 pm ET. I know the history of my ship came from the AOL sims. The old Captain of this ship, Atragon 9, started it on there before starting STSF. Here's an invite link to the Discord server. Hope you can join us.

Currently there's two sims on Sunday nights and one on Mondays and an additional one on Fridays that still plays on this websites chat room. Feel free to look in on any one of them.

Thank you both! I will try to check out some sims when I have the chance next week.

And I actually simmed on the Manticore with A9 back in my AOL days!!! I believe it was a brand new sim, or close to, when I was on it. That's awesome that it's still around!
