Sky Harbor Aegis | 7 January 2022

                                                                                        = /\ = Aegis Mission Brief 1/7/22 = /\

                                                                                       16 August 2388 - Stardate 2388.224

The Deke Slayton remains in the area.

For reasons unknown the USS Missouri has entered the area in stealth mode.

The strange disturbance in space curled around Aegis then moved to another area.

Security and Science keep watch in case the disturbance returns.

Otherwise personnel on station have returned to normalcy as though nothing had ever happened.

 Scott Coleridge: ::in CnC, puzzling over the logs from before, pondering::

Dacia Sandero: ::working in sickbay::

mimipavilion: ::in medical::

Chirakis: ::It's been a long week and Kirel is resting in her office paging through information she hadn't seen for ages... or at least it felt that way:::

Alexis McFarland: ::eating her breakfast::

Chirakis: :::the door is open, and that makes her feel more comfortable::

Tarisa: ::In her own office, working on the new shift schedule.::

Chirakis::::ponders a few things, then exits her office:::

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: The 'integration' of whatever Muuhi placed in his mind appeared complete as far as Nijil could tell and they were getting along well enough ::

Scott Coleridge ::doesn't have any insights into the disturbance, so he sighs:: I guess

Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: At his post in CnC ::

Chirakis: ::walks toward Scott and stops::: Commander, a moment?

Scott Coleridge: Yes?

Alexis McFarland: ::finishes her breakfast and relaxes in her room::

Chirakis: ::::sits beside him::: Commander Tarisa is needed aboard the Aegean. Thoughts?

Scott Coleridge: What's the mission profile?

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Enters engineering. The questions Muuhi posed has stopped as Nijil answered her concerns ::

Chirakis: Well.... ::Pages down::: Admiral Groden has asked for her.

Annisha: :: She was reading something about Bajorans. A school thing, but they also had a lengthy history ::

Alexis McFarland: ::Reading the same book about Bajorans while sucking on a jumja stick::

Scott Coleridge: Oh, I met him once. He is not good at singing.

Chirakis: :::puts her tablet down:: Your thoughts?

Scott Coleridge: But that's not relevant, I suppose

Scott Coleridge: If it's a science mission, Tarisa is an excellent choice.

Chirakis: ::leaning back::: My thought also.

Scott Coleridge: Do you want me to inform her?

Chirakis: Very well. ::nods a yes::

Tarisa: Miana> ::Finished her breakfast and was doing a little reading on the couch.::

Scott Coleridge: The orders are on there? ::Gestures at the PADD::

Nijil tr'Korjata: ::The station situation is nominal, which was good to see ::

Chirakis: Indeed they are. ::hands them over:::

Scott Coleridge: ::takes the orders::

Chirakis: ::looks around::: I'm not sure.... exactly where she is at the moment.

Tarisa: ::Grabs a tea from the replicator, as she goes over the final draft of the schedule.::

Scott Coleridge: Computer, locate Commander Tarisa.

Tarisa: ((SCI office))

Scott Coleridge: I will be off to the science office, then. ::Chirakis:: Try to keep the universe in check while I'm gone, ma'am.

Chirakis: ::very slight chuckle::: Hopefully it will be. ::stands:: Ma'am is not necessary for you, Commander. However, you may use it if you prefer.

Scott Coleridge: ::leaves CnC::

Chirakis: :::moves toward OPs:: Mr Slater, send a message to Admiral Groden and inform him of LtCdr Tarisa.

Scott Coleridge: ::reaches the science office::

Chirakis: :::Slater does his duty; Kirel enters her office to see...::: Blink

Cptn d'Ka: Do I frighten you, Kh’éile?

Scott Coleridge: ::spots Tarisa:: Hello

Tarisa: ::Looks up from her PADD, ears perked.:: Commander? What brings you down to science?

Scott Coleridge: Oh, this is science? I must be lost, I was looking for the spa…

Chirakis: :::deep breath::: No. Not at the moment. However, if you let me know when you are coming... or have come.... it would be easier. Please.. sit.

Scott Coleridge: ::brandishes his PADD:: I come bearing orders. Hopefully the good kind.

Chirakis: Something to drink? :::closes the door::: Enl’licdh’a (a finely distilled brandy used to clear and focus thoughts)  perhaps?

Cptn d'Ka: Perfect.

Tarisa: ::Curious look as she takes the PADD.:: Oh?

Chirakis: ::Hands it to bond mate and sits::

Scott Coleridge: Admiral Groden needs Aegean for a science mission… and asked for you to lead it.

Chirakis: ::sips until he says something::::

Tarisa: I only know Admiral Groden in name. Why would he ask for me? ::Reading the PADD, which seems vague.::

Cptn d'Ka: :::red light on, door secure, he begins to give her information::

Scott Coleridge: He *might* have read your most recent performance evaluations, I suppose.

Tarisa: I see. I take it you will be commanding the Aegean then?

Scott Coleridge: No, when I said lead the mission, I meant lead it. From the big chair.

Tarisa: ::Ears stick straight up.:: I...I see...

Chirakis: :::listening to his information:::

Chirakis: :::somewhat shocked::

Scott Coleridge: ::Tarisa:: Right, so I will let you absorb that and read the admittedly scant mission details and we will talk again soon.

Tarisa: ::Slight nod.:: Yes Sir.

Scott Coleridge: ::leaves the science office:: Need to practice delivering good news,
