mimipavilion: ::in medical::

Jylliene: ::CnC, Ops, monitoring displays with the morning cup of coffee. As one does.::

Chirakis: :::as usual, the captain settles into her office with the door open in case anything needs assistance.::::

Dacia Sandero: ::working away in sickbay::

Tae'Lynn Dran: ::at aux station on CnC::

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: heading around the station checking various engineering systems ::

Amanda Davis PhD: :::in her office, checking data:::

Alexis McFarland: ::still sleeping::

Nijil tr'Korjata: ::

Amanda Davis PhD: Hm.... Lt Breze seems relaxed, along with a few others::::

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: talking to the voice in his head was getting easier ::

Chirakis: :::scrolling through his latest information from SFCommand:::

Scott Coleridge: ::enters CnC::

Dacia Sandero: ::checking up on some patients and noting their progress::

Amanda Davis PhD: ::::putting everything aside to begin her routine check to see if anyone needs help:::

Chirakis: :::stops thinking and listens to d'Ka's information:::

Tae'Lynn Dran: ::rearranging her console layout::

Scott Coleridge: ::notices Dran's activity as he walks past:: Found a way to increase efficiency?

Tae'Lynn Dran: Perhaps. Trying to decide between quicker interface versus a more concise informational display.

Scott Coleridge: Hmm, tough call. I usually prefer readability over speed. Better to avoid making mistakes.

Chirakis: ::putting aside anything she was working on in her office steps out of her door and begins to walk around, asking questions, giving answers:::

Tae'Lynn Dran: Agreed. I believe I can make up for a momentary delayed response if I have the correct information at hand.

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Padd in hand, he enters medical ::

mimipavilion: ::in her office, door closed, conversing with a Romulan committee member about the quarterly review of the Children's Home::

Alexis McFarland: ::stretches and rubs her eyes::

Amanda Davis PhD: ::calls:: Dr. Sandera, Mrs Cresto is about to have her baby.

Dacia Sandero: I see. ::heads over to the maternity ward:: Well, we'd best get to it then.

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Taps the disc on his temple ::

Amanda Davis PhD: Definitely. :::on approach:::

Dacia Sandero: ::nods and changes into a medical smock, grabs a medical tricorder::

Nijil tr'Korjata: Just remain quiet please Muuhi. I need to check the network here.

Amanda Davis PhD: ::::::gears up along with Dacia and follows her in:::

Tae'Lynn Dran: Now just to pick which shade of blue for the background shading.

Dacia Sandero: ::scans Mrs Cresto:: Ooh, yes. Your contractions are quite close, relax and breathe. Everything'll be alright.

Amanda Davis PhD: :::working as an assistant:::

Chirakis: :::stops, answers a few questions, then moves on:::

Dacia Sandero: Let's monitor her contractions and baby's progress. All right now ::Gives Mrs Cresto a hypo to ease the pain and to help with pushing the baby out::

Alexis McFarland: ::eating some breakfast::

Chirakis: ::approaches Scott::: Commander, a moment?

Nijil tr'Korjata: Muuhi > Oh oh a birth.

Dacia Sandero: Yes, another one. I assume you're quite familiar with this?

Dacia Sandero: ::checks her bio signs:: Looking good.

Scott Coleridge: ::Chirakis:: Sure, your office?

Chirakis: Not necessary.

Scott Coleridge: ::leads her aside::

Jylliene: ::scrolls through the usual stuff - glad to be doing the usual stuff, instead of dealing with crises::

Chirakis: I have a few things to deal with above decks. Take the CON, please. I should come back within the hour.

Nijil tr'Korjata: Are you speaking to me Dr. Sandero?

Scott Coleridge: ::Chirakis:: Understood, ma'am.

Amanda Davis PhD: ::monitoring the child as it slowly emerges:::

Dacia Sandero: Oh sorry, to Muuhi. Though you have just witnessed one yourself, so I suppose technically it would apply to you both. ::she says as she helps guide the baby out, head first:: ::Cresto:: You're doing great, almost there.

Chirakis: Thank you, Commander.

Nijil tr'Korjata: My own. < Muuhi > My people have what you call litters.

Dacia Sandero: Ah.

Amanda Davis PhD: ::Ms Cresto clutches Amanda's hands tight.::

Nijil tr'Korjata: I am here to only check the network.

mimipavilion: ::finishes her conversation with the committee member and closes the channel::

Chirakis: ::exits the area and moves up to deck 4, steps out, and nods to d'Ka:::

Dacia Sandero: I see.  Very well then. ::cutting the baby's umbilical cord with a laser scalpel and hands it to a nurse to be bundled up and weighed::

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Working at a far corner of sickbay ::

Scott Coleridge: ::takes his station on the CnC::

Amanda Davis PhD: :::Cresto pants, still gripping Amanda's hands while the rest work on the baby:::

Amanda Davis PhD: ::glance to Dacia:::

Dacia Sandero: ::notes and logs the birth and the baby's info into the medical database as the nurse hands the baby back to its mother::

Dacia Sandero: Great job. It's a boy.

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Closes the padd, work is done :: Time to go...

Amanda Davis PhD: :::very happy::: Oh, my, Mrs Cesto. It's wonderful. Beautiful.

Dacia Sandero: ::nods:: Yes, he's very healthy. 8 lbs, 3 oz., a good weight.

Mimipavilion: ::decompressing from her meeting::

Alexis McFarland: ::reading a PADD in her room::

Amanda Davis PhD: OH my. I'll say it's a very good weight. His father is waiting outside. Should I being him in?

Chirakis: :::d'Ka is passing information from SFCommand:::

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Exits sickbay and heads to his next destination...sees he has new messages :: Ugh.

Dacia Sandero: Yes, yes. Go ahead. I'm done here, let me know if there's anything you need.

Dacia Sandero: ::smiles and heads back to the prep room to change out of her smock::

Amanda Davis PhD: ::turns :: Lt Baylor, call for Lt Kadana.

Chirakis: :::a few more thoughts, and Captain d'Ka disappears into the mist:::

Chirakis: :::sigh:::

Nijil tr'Korjata: Muuhi > So when do we get to speak to the other doctor...Davis is it?

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: clears throat :: Soon. I'm a busy engineer.

Dacia Sandero: ::changes out of her smock and cleans herself up:: Ahh. Another one in the books.

Nijil tr'Korjata: Muuhi > And Jylliene?

Nijil tr'Korjata: :: frowns :: Soon.

Amanda Davis PhD: ::next to Dacia::: He's a big one, for sure.

Dacia Sandero: Yeah, I'm sure he's going to be a big guy.

Dacia Sandero: ::washing her hands::

Chirakis: :::enters CnC:::

Nijil tr'Korjata: Muuhi > For the real Muuhi I am sorry.

Nijil tr'Korjata: It's alright, a bump in the road.

Chirakis: =/\==/\=PAUSE SIM=/\==/\=

Chirakis: =/\==/\=PAUSE SIM=/\==/\=

Chirakis: Thank you.

Chirakis: What was going on was slow, but well done.

Chirakis: Anything to say, Number One?

Scott Coleridge: Not at this time

Chirakis: Crew, anything to say?

Chirakis: Very well... we're moving on for a while. Next week will be two more days. And may I suggest that the teachers grab the children to work on technology, astrology, and anything similar.

Alexis McFarland: oooh

Chirakis: ::Smirk:: Anything else?

Chirakis: Very well..

Chirakis: Crew dismissed. Be well. Be Safe. Don’t forget your towel.
