USS Excalibur Sim Log - 06.27.21

MISSION BRIEF: Excalibur continues to explore Optera IV. The crew is attempting to provide medical assistance and hopefully establish some sort of communication with a juvenile specimen of the large insectoids we have encountered on the planet. Meanwhile, a second team has beamed to a large underground cavern where they have found a large grouping of the creatures.
