Cordon Against the Alliance

At precisely 0300 Aegis local Captain Chirakis Kirel entered CnC, checked data that was handed to her, paged through it, and received the information needed to proceed.

“This is what we have so far, Lt Foster?” she asked, handing it back.

“Yes, ma’am. I’ll let you know when more comes in.”

“Very well.  I will be in my office for…” she checked the chrono,” approximately ten minutes or just after they arrive.”

At precisely 0307 the captain entered her office and settled behind her desk.  Leaning back in her chair, her boots rested on the desktop as she combed through the most recent information from Starfleet Command and Rendezvous October.  Not much happened during Mid Watch. Most reports came through to her, but unless they were important she put them aside until she had extra time to plow through them. Otherwise….

Within seconds, Lt Foster rounded the corner.  “Captain, Narada will berth on docking bay A-15 in approximately five minutes.  Anything important I should do, ma’am?”

“Keep CnC clear and ready for anything,” Kirel replied leaving the office as she walked toward the lift.  “Be ready for more ships within the hour.  Some you will see, and some you will not.  Some will be cloaked within our area and some outside the wire.  You will not know who they are, where they are, and why they are there.  Is that clear?”

"Yes, ma’am.”

“No one,” Kirel continued, turning to face all in CnC and speaking strictly, “and I mean no one will reveal what I have said.  Is… that… clear?”

“Ma’am, yes ma’am,” the five on Mid Watch replied, while Kirel studied each officer.

“Very well.  Lieutenant Foster, you have the con.  I will be on docking bay A-15.  Carry on.”
