STSF Jami

2100 Academy 10.28.2003

Mission Brief: The USS Aravis is patroling the Hwin Sector of space, a recently mapped region that has yet to be explored fully.

This was a very interesting mission. In the tradition of science fiction guru Arthur Clarke, the plot was open-ended. There was no set explanation for the strange occurrences aboard the Aravis tonight. All explanations were equally valid as long as there was a solid foundation for the explanation. Enjoy!

=================================================

Welcome to the PeopleLink Chat Monitor

STSF Jami: Thank you, and welcome to another episode of Starfleet Academy.

STSF Jami: Before we begin, a few things to remember about academy simulations:

STSF Jami: Please remember that the Academy is a training SIM. Scenarios are not necessarily canon Trek, and the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

STSF Jami: Your role in the academy is to accept an open post on the roster and fulfill the duties of the post through cooperative interaction with fellow department members .

STSF Jami: Contribute to the simulation by performing a task or suggesting a course of action that fit within the context with the GM's story line . . .

STSF Jami: Display knowledge of basic simulation conventions such as: Using the com systems, Making use of location symbols, and Displaying character actions . . .

STSF Jami: You are reminded to work through your department heads. Not everyone can just run to the Captain with information. Assistants report to department heads, department heads report to the XO, the XO reports to the CO. The Chain Of Command is very important to simming.

STSF Jami: For those of you who have already graduated from the Academy, a higher level of responsibility is expected of you. You are expected to conduct yourselves as excellent examples of Starfleet Officers, role models for the cadets in this academy. Thank you.

STSF Jami: One more note about tonight's simulation...

STSF Jami: NDak will be Mission CO tonight. He will be leading the simulation but I will be actioning, so pay attention to both of us :-)

STSF Jami: And now, on with the show!

STSF Jami: Tonight's episode stars NDak as Mission CO (MCO)

STSF Jami: Costarring STSF Jami as XO

STSF Jami: At OPS . . . . . Hans Seiben

STSF Jami: At TAC . . . . . John Anderson

STSF Jami: At HELM . . . . JacobD

STSF Jami: As CENG . . . . .a1088

STSF Jami: As AENG . . . . .Cdt Dragon Boy

STSF Jami: As CSCI . . . . . Tovan

STSF Jami: As ASCI . . . . . Ens Nem

STSF Jami: That is your crew, Captain. May the gods have mercy on their souls....

STSF Jami: heh..

STSF Jami: Stand by for the Mission Brief.

STSF Jami: The USS Aravis is patroling the Hwin Sector of space, a recently mapped region that has yet to be explored fully.

STSF Jami: And...BEGIN SIMULATION

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>sir I am detecting a nebula on long range sensors

a1088: <CENG><AENG> very good, take a brake there's nothing to do here

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> As I was finishing my diagnostics, though, a nebula showed up.

tovan: <CSCI> ::enters bridge and takes a seat beside nem::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> You might wanna take a look at this,

hans_seiben: <OPS> <CO> Sir, I've deteected an intersting nebula on long range scanners

ndak: <CO><Ops> Good..make sure they stay that way ::grins::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> It looks really nifty.

a1088: <CENG><AENG> what is it

hans_seiben: ,OPS>::nods::: Indeed

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> A cool-looking nebula, that's all

ndak: <CO><ASCI> Very Good Ensign..give the cooridinate to helm

a1088: <CENG><AENG> i see very nice

tovan: <CSCI> hm...it seems stable enough

john_anderson: <TAC>::Doesn't really enjoy the movie 'shipwrecked' very much::

john_anderson: :: Doesn't :: *

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>aye sir ::relaying coordinates to helm::

ndak: <CO><HELM> Lay in a course for the nebula Warp 4..Engage

john_anderson: <TAC>::Still doing his usual scans::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Just in case the ship decides to **** up, do you mind if I install a backup system for warp core ejection?

jacobd: <Helm>Coordinates received...course laid in, and engaging at warp 4...aye sir.

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> ::chuckles::

jacobd: <Helm>::taps quietly on console::

a1088: <CENG><AENG> of course not

a1088: <CENG><AENG> proceed, never hurt to careful

john_anderson: <TAC>::But isn't picking up anything yet::

jacobd: <Helm>Aye sir...station keeping at the nebula sir?

ndak: <CO><CSCI> So what can you tell me about this nebula?

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>it appears to be consisting mostly of Hydrogen gases and some trace amounts of carbon matters

stsf_jami: ACTION: As the ship approaches the nebula, every color in the spectrum seems to waft from it, creating an aurora borealis effect, almost mesmerizing.

tovan: <CSCI> ::stares at the screen::

john_anderson: <TAC>::Stares at the viewer::

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::looks at viewscreen:: Wow! Where's my camera?

john_anderson: <TAC>Purdy....

jacobd: <Helm><Co>Dropping from warp 4 sir.

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>strange electro magnetic feild in the Nebula created as so seems by the large amount of stars in the area

tovan: <CSCI> ::snaps out of it again:: <CO> um... sir the nebula consists of hydrogen and traces of carbon and em fields

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> :: goes over to a console to get a better look at the nebula from many angles and wavelengths.::

tovan: <CSCI><CO> many spectrums ::rubs eyes::

a1088: <CENG><AENG> extraordinary

john_anderson: <TAC>::Snaps out of his daze and goes back to doing his scans::

jacobd: <Helm>::taps console...bringing ship to all stop 10000 km from the nebula's edge::

stsf_jami: ACTION: For a second the nebula seems to reach out and wrap itself around the ship, but was it an illusion, or...?

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> ::puts warp ejection system back together::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>sir we seem to be grabbed by the....

ndak: <CO><OL> SCience...what exatly was that>

john_anderson: <<::Dramatic overtone:: DUN DUN DUUNN!!>>

john_anderson: << ::Dramatic:: >>

stsf_jami: <g>

john_anderson: <<grrrr....>>

stsf_jami: <<gotta love those smileys>>

a1088: <CENG>::scans ship systems::

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::snaps out of it::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>unsure if it truly happened strange affect on sensors

forceflow enters Holodeck

ndak: <CO><Helm> Back us off to 20000 km's

jacobd: <Helm>::perks up hearing cheesy 1940 horror movie music through the loud speakers...somewhere on the bridge::

john_anderson: << or hate them....>>

tovan: <CSCI><CO> ::blinks hard and holds on to nem for support:: it appears we are trapped within the nebula but it does not register on sensors

jacobd: <Helm><Co>Aye sir...::taps::

john_anderson: <TAC>::Looks curiously as the nebula tries to consume the ship::

jacobd: <Helm><Co>Sensors read 20k km from the nebula's edge.

john_anderson: <TAC>::Goes back to his scans and doesn't detect anything irregular as of yet::

ndak: <CO><CSCI> What do you mean..tra[[ed?

ndak: <CO> ::adjusts himself in the big chair::

hans_seiben: <OPS> I do not detect we're being traspped

tovan: <CSCI><CO> sir, it seems to wrap it self around us but the sensors say the nebula is 20000kms away

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO/CSCI>we can not jump to those assumptions it coulf have been a sensor glitch

jacobd: <Helm><Bridge>That'd be a big sensor glitch...i wonder if the engineers broke em again.

tovan: <CSCI><CO> perhaps the viewer is melfunctioning?

john_anderson: <TAC><Bridge>I haven't detected anything yet. So I dunno what might have happened with the nebula.

a1088: <CENG><AENG> quick run a diagnostic on the sensor array

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>it appears to be a slight explosion of the gases and then it faded away to tiny amounts only detecting them now

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Aye aye, sir! ::runs a level 5 diagnostic::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Diagnostic complete, all sensors are functioning properly

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::running scan on the consoles::

john_anderson: <TAC>::Still working away at his console::

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> have you comfirmed it ?

ndak: <CO><CSCI/OPS?TAC> Work with Engineering to see what is going on

hans_seiben: <OPS> All consoles in working orders

forceflow leaves Holodeck

hans_seiben: <OPS><CO> Aye sir

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>::nods:: aye sir nothing to worry about

john_anderson: <TAC><CO>Aye, sir.

a1088: <CENG>+<BRIDGE> cpt sensors are working properly but i cant explain wats happening

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> ::studies for other possibilities::

ndak: <CO>+CENG+ Chief are there any problems with my sensors

tovan: <CSCI><CO> hm.

a1088: <CENG>+<CO> negative all sensors are approtive

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Is it possible that this isn't a nebula? Science could examine it more closely to see if we're dealing with a sentient being here.

ndak: <CO><HELM> Back us off another 10000 km

a1088: <CENG><AENG> right notify Science

jacobd: <Helm><Co>Aye sir...::taps::Another 10k...now reading 30k from the nebula's edge.

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Aye, sir.

ndak: <CO>+CENG+ wll check them again and make me feel better Cheif becuase something is going on

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> +CSCI+ Could you scan the nebula again?

ndak: <CO><ASCI> What did you say?

tovan: <CSCI><CO> no...the nebula has exploding gases that seem to strech out and grab us but itis moving off now

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> +CSCI+ Is it possible that this isn't a nebula?

a1088: <CENG>+<CO> aye

john_anderson: <TAC>::Working away at his console::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> ::overhearing CENG's conversation with CO, begins a level 1 diagnostic of all sensor arrays as he talks to CSCI::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>::noticing the CSCI's silence:: sir they blasted out across a large distence of space making them hard to detect

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> +ASCI+ Is anyone alive up there?

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::Taps his console::

a1088: <CENG><AENG>diagnostics report

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>which explains the slow workings of the sensors nothing to worry about

john_anderson: <TAC>::Running his own diagnostics on his sensors, since Eng seems busy::

ndak: <CO><Ops> is htis thing still moving in around us?

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> +ASCI+ Could you possibly scan the nebula to see if it could be a sentient being?

hans_seiben: <OPS> <CO> Aye sir, the nebula is moving towards us.

tovan: <CSCI><AENG> i'm sure itis not a being of any

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> ::while working on the level 1 diagnostic:: The level 4 and 5 diagnostics I just performed all say the sensors are fine. Level 1 takes a long time, I'll tell you as soon as they're complete.

stsf_jami: Action: a whispy being walks through engineering through the warp core and out the bulkhead.

ndak leaves Holodeck

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Or not...

hans_seiben: <OPS> <<ooohh>>

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> +TAC+ Security!!!

john_anderson: <<OMG!! We lost the CO!!>>

a1088: <CENG>+<BRIDGE> something strange just strolled in here

stsf_jami: <<When the CO has problems, OPS takes his/her place>>

hans_seiben: <AHH!>>

john_anderson: <<LOL>>

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> +TAC+ Somethinig just walked through here, and I'm not sure what it was.

jacobd: <Helm>::blinks::

hans_seiben: <Ok>

ens_nem: <ASCI><<he'll be back>>

john_anderson: <TAC>+CENG+I'm coming down!

a1088: <CENG>+<BRIDGE> bridge please respond

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::over hears:: What?

john_anderson: <TAC>::Rushes to a TL::

tovan: <CSCI> ::gets a headache::

john_anderson: <TAC>Computer...Main Engineering!

ndak enters Holodeck

stsf_jami: <<WB, NDak>>

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>sir there is no signs of anything down in engineering

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::Scans for intruders, and leaves the CO's seat::

ndak: <<sorry about that got punted>>

hans_seiben: <OPS><CO/XO> Sir, I do not detect any intruders

tovan: <CSCI> strange..

john_anderson: <TAC>::Zips out the TL, phaser in hand, and over to the CENG::

john_anderson: <TAC><CENG>Everything fine?

hans_seiben: <OPS> Nor any transporter activities

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>there maybe some sort of effect on their mental state

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> calibrate the internal scanners for annomalies

a1088: <CENG><TAC> for the moment

ndak: <CO><CSCI> Is this thing still moving in around us

stsf_jami: Action: nothing registers on the ship's computer that there was ever anything out of the ordinary in engineering.

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> perhas mister nem, i'm feeling weak..

john_anderson: <TAC><CENG>Was anyone injured?

a1088: <CENG><TAC> no luckily

jacobd: <Helm>::quietly taps continuing to hold position 30k from the nebula's edge::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>hmmmm no signs of any annomilies

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> strnage...

hans_seiben: <OPS><CO/XO> You know, I think the Engineering staff had a little too mych beer!

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> I've seen a thousand nebulas, and that's the first one to walk by and say hello. This isn't a nebula we're dealing with here.

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> fascinating..

john_anderson: <TAC><CENG>Alright. I'll have a few guys from security come down in case something else happens. I have to get back to the bridge.

a1088: <CENG><AENG> agreed

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>should we have a medical dianostic on one of the engineers to exprience this?

a1088: <CENG><TAC> thx i think ill need them

john_anderson: <TAC>::Nods and heads back into the TL::

john_anderson: <TAC>Computer...Bridge.

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> good thinking, i think i need a interview with the docter too

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> The question is, what is it? And, is it worth risking our lives to find out?

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>::nods:: aye sir

a1088: <CENG><AENG> lets run an intensive scan in engineering

john_anderson: <TAC>+Security+I need two men to report to Main Engineering right away.

a1088: <CENG><AENG> we'll find out

ndak: <CO><OPS> get that nepubla off my screen now..i think i have an idea of whats going on here

hans_seiben: <OPS><CO> Aye sir

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> in the mean time reset scanners to scan every molecule of main engineering

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::presses a button, and the nebula instantly dissapears::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>aye sir ::resets scans::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> Computer. Display a complete analysis of all ship sensor readings from time index 2138.36 through 2138.42 on this station.

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> if nothing shows up then people are imaginning things

ndak: <CO><ASCI> Scan the area for radiation?

a1088: <CENG><CENG>::scans the ship::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> ::studies readout:: Hmm...nothing unusual...

ndak: <<for get the ?>>

stsf_jami: Action: An apparition of Jean Luc Picard walks out of the blank viewscreen, across the bridge, up the ramp, and out the other side of the ship.

john_anderson: <Security>On our way,sir!

hans_seiben: <OPS> :Sees that::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>uh sir ::looking at Picard::

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> ::notices a person::

hans_seiben: <OPS><Bridge> Did you see, what I saw?

john_anderson: <TAC>::Walks out the TL and see's Captain Picard walk by him::

ndak: <CO><BridgeYou all didn't see that did you::

a1088: <CENG><AENG> scan the ship on all EM spectrums

john_anderson: <TAC>What the.....

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> yes that captain picard mister nem?

jacobd: <Helm>::blinks::

hans_seiben: <OPS><CO> Ahh, I think so.. did you see Capitan Picard walk by the viewscreen too?

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>::begins scans for radiation ignoring the apparition::

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> ::rubs eyes::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> Computer. Run an analysis of ship sensor readings for the specified time index, on all logs. Scan for everything, even if we don't see it. Compare that result to a similar scan of the rest of time index 2138.

jacobd: <Helm>::schedules an eye exam::

hans_seiben: <OPS> That's it! No more Coca Cola!

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Nothing. Not a thing showed up on sensors.

ndak: <CO><Helm> ::stern;y:: back us off to 100000 kms

john_anderson: <Security guy>::Comes out the TL onto Main Engineering, and reports into the CENG::Here as ordered, sir.

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>sir I have discovered small trace amounts of an unknown radiation throught the ship

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> origin?

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Either it's a matter or energy field we can't scan, or it is manipulating our sensors.

hans_seiben: <OPS> ::runs a dianostic on the viewscreen::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>large concentrations in Engineering and the bridge

jacobd: <Helm>::taps console and ship moves back::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>origin unknown

hans_seiben: <OPS> Nothing wrong with the viewscreen

jacobd: <Helm><Co>Aye sir...100k km from the nebulas outer edge.

john_anderson: <TAC>::Walks back to his console, running more scans::

stsf_jami: Action: reports come from various areas of the ship that things are appearing, walking through the ship, then out the other side.

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> ::rubs eyes again::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CSCI>filling at a quick rate through out the ship

a1088: <CENG>+<CO> cpt maybe the "nebula" has a neuralogical affect on the crew

ndak: <CO><ASCI> did sensors pick that up...tell me they did

a1088: <CENG><AENG> run an intensive scan on the warp core

hans_seiben: <OPS><CO> Sir, I am getting reports for more of these apparitions

stsf_jami: nothing shows on sensors or scans

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> the radiation is puzzling my judgement..

hans_seiben: <OPS> Yet, I cannot detect them ion scanners

john_anderson: <TAC><CO>Sir, I recommend that we immediately withdraw from here. We have no idea what these apparitions might do to us or the ship.

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> Level 1 diagnostic of all sensors complete. There's nothing wrong. The computer is running a level 4 diagnostic on the warp core.

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>no sir we suspect an affect on the crews nuericlogical precipitions

a1088: <CENG><AENG> good

tovan: <CSCI><ASCI> any thing on scans or sensors?

ndak leaves Holodeck

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>sir the radiation does not appear to becoming from the nebula

ndak enters Holodeck

john_anderson: <TAC>::Running scans of the area trying to find out what might be going on::

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> There's nothing wrong with this ship. That leaves two possibilities. Something wrong with the crew, and the other possibility, as Dr. Crusher says, "if there's nothing wrong with me, then something must be wrong with the universe." That being the nebula.

a1088: <CENG><AENG> agreed

hans_seiben: <OPS> INdeed

jacobd: <Helm>::quietly plots an escape course of action if needed::

john_anderson: <TAC><OPS>We need to pull out of here as fast as we can.

hans_seiben: <OPS> Indeed, oull us back an additional 150 000 kms.

stsf_jami: Action: the reports indicate that what crew are seeing are people familiar to them, some dead, some alive.

ens_nem: <ASCI><OPS>::blinks:: uh sir the Nebula keeps coming on and off on sensors

hans_seiben: <OPS> You know, this could be an alien contact

tovan: <CSCI> ::Sees his sister running around the bridge::

a1088: <CENG>+<BRIDGE> i recomend running neural scan on the crew

hans_seiben: <OPS><ASCI> Yes, see if you can find a away out of it

cdt_dragon_boy: <AENG> <CENG> Shoot, I can't get many readings. We're too far away to scan the nebula effectively any more.

apollolink enters Holodeck

hans_seiben: <OPS> +CENG+ Agreed

john_anderson: <TAC>::Continues to tap away on his console::

stsf_jami: <<remember, the apparitiions walk through and leave, don't stay long>>

a1088: <CENG>+<OPS> acknowledged running scan

tovan: <CSCI> ::notes the image disappears and he snaps out of it::

stsf_jami: ROSTER UPDATE - Apollolink = CO :-)

apollolink: <CO>::snaps out of his daze:: <Outloud> now whats going on here

john_anderson: <<::Shuts down the revolving door:: And stay closed!!>>

a1088: <CENG>::scans the crew::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>sir the Nebula dissappeared

jacobd: <Helm>Seems someone opened up the ghosttrap at the ghostbusters sir.

john_anderson: <TAC>::Is starting to get really creeped out::

a1088: <CENG>+<BRIDGE> scan complete...

john_anderson: <TAC>Maybe we should do a seance.

apollolink: <CO><ASCI> Disappreard...really?

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>::blinks:: no its back

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>no wait gone again

hans_seiben: <OPS> <ASCI> Make up your mind.

tovan: <CSCI> ::is lost in images and stares at one point on the view screen::

ens_nem: <ASCI><CO>no no back

apollolink: <CO><Helm> ::very serious:: Ghostbusters?

jacobd: <Helm><Co>Old Earth movie sir.

a1088: <CENG>+<BRIDGE> its seems that the "nebula" effects the perceptual glands of the brain

apollolink: <CO><Helm> ::gives him the look::

hans_seiben: <OPS> I wonder if they serve this far?

stsf_jami: Action: the nebula seems to wave, then disappears from all sensors.

jacobd: <Helm>::acknowledges the look and smiles broadly back::

hans_seiben: <OPS> <CO> NEbula disspeared

a1088: <CENG>:: very confused::

tovan: <CSCI> ::still staring::

stsf_jami: PAUSE SIM

stsf_jami: A slow sim, but controlled.

ens_nem: he didn't kill us all

stsf_jami: Thoughts? What do you think it was?

stsf_jami: Protocol, please.

stsf_jami: That means, use ! for a comment, and ? for a question.

cdt_dragon_boy: ? Was the nebula a sentient being?

ens_nem: !that affected us and made us see the nebula and appartitions!

john_anderson: We were in a universe of our own weren't we.

stsf_jami: What do you think, Dragon Boy? Do you think it was, and why?

stsf_jami: Dragon boy has the floor, please. Everyone else stop typing :-)

stsf_jami: What made you think it might be sentient, DB?

cdt_dragon_boy: ! The reaching out part. That sounded like an episode off of TNG... I can't remember the title, but they were in a negative space. They dropped sensor buoys, but always returned to them no matter where they went. The ailien then threatened to kill them to figure out the human concept of death.

stsf blurox enters Holodeck

stsf_jami: I remember that one, but didn't have it in mind when I did the actions.

stsf_jami: Good thoughts. Anyone else with thoughts?

stsf_jami: Prototol please.

stsf blurox: !

stsf_jami: Blu?

stsf blurox: Rumor has it, that you didn't blow them to bits, is this true?

stsf_jami: This is true.

stsf_jami: Next?

ens_nem: !the Nebula wasn't real

stsf_jami: What makes you think that, Nem?

ens_nem: ::ahem manly smart voice:: well the radiation made us see memories and the nebula was a memory not actually there

stsf_jami: Oh....neat idea. One I had not even thought of!

john_anderson: ?I believe that this sim was dedicated to All Hallow's Eve. That what I think.

stsf_jami: Well....kind of, John. But it also had some elements of anytime in it, I hope.

stsf blurox: Boo

stsf_jami: ::Huddling with Blu for a conference:::

ens_nem: like that Voyager one where they thought it was the worm hole

stsf_jami: Well, my initial thought was that the nebula was using our thoughts to form something that could "walk through the ship" as a probe.

stsf blurox leaves Holodeck

ens_nem: but it was a monster you mean?

stsf_jami: However, I think that some of your ideas are just as valid.

john_anderson: Well it's still a being.

ens_nem: hey I was part right

stsf_jami: Well...hm...it seems that I have something stuck in my pocket...

tovan: good night all

stsf_jami: ::digs in and pulls it out:::: Wow...lookie here....i: It's a little box.

stsf_jami: ::jigglejiggle:::

stsf_jami: Something small and round and pointy...and probably rusty, too.

stsf_jami: Cadet Dragon Boy....front and center please.

cdt_dragon_boy: Yes, sir!!!

stsf_jami: Cadet Dragon Boy, for exceptional play this evening, for keeping your nose to the grindstone, and for NOT turning into a Borg or finding any in the vicinity....

It is my distinct pleasure to promote you to the rank of Ensign in STSF, with all the privileges and responsibilities thereof. :steps forward and pins the pip on carefully so as not to scratch...ooooopssss

cdt_dragon_boy: Thank you!!!
