Cptn Ja'Lale: USS Challenger Mission Brief - 19 Oct 2018: The Challenger is arriving at Starbase 133, which issued a distress call being attacked by unknown vessels. We arrive in range of the Starbase. TBS was 1 hour, or as per the chat log last week. Any questions?

Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: The base is being attacked by two birds of prey and 5 warbirds, centring on the base's shipyard facility. The base is also returning fire as is the base's star fighters.

Hunter Matheson: Whoa... not good, Captain.

Dyan Sylvanis: Those warbirds pose the bigger threat.

Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: The 3 ships; another Excelsior and 2 Constellations are about 10 minutes out. Another ship, also reports that their ETA is about 30-45 minutes.
Hunter Matheson: We might not put 'em down, but they'll sure have the fight of their lives. Ready? ::Syl::
Cptn Ja'Lale: I agree. We should target them first.

Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: The station has about a dozen starfighters and one Miranda class ship providing support in addition to the Starbase itself.

Dyan Sylvanis: ::Maintains fire on the weakest warbird, but taking pot shots at others when there is an advantage.::

Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: Some of the warbirds converge on the Challenger and open fire, while the BOPs continue to attack the shipyards.
Dvokr chim Hok: We are being targeted.

Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: The Challenger hits the weakest warbirds, taking its shields down to 26%.
Hunter Matheson: Something's blocking them to target us. Whatever it is, I want one.
Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: The Excelsior and 2 Constellations drop put of warp and fire at the warbirds. The weakest warbird blows up in a large fireball.
Dyan Sylvanis: Friendlies have entered the fight, including the Excelsior.
Dvokr chim Hok: Finally.
Hunter Matheson: Evasive maneuver.. hold on :::avoids fragments of he warbird as they spin past:::

Dyan Sylvanis: ::Coordinates with the other ships to target the next warbird.::
Hunter Matheson: :::deep breath as they come around for another pass:::
Dvokr chim Hok: :: shutters in his seat when weapons fire hits Challenger
Cptn Ja'Lale: Shields go down to 72%
Cptn Ja'Lale: ACTION: The larger ships also break off from their attack to support the warbirds. One of the Constellations takes a direct hit from a torpedo shot and is venting plasma from its port nacelle.
Hunter Matheson: Sheesh...
Dyan Sylvanis: ::Firing on the next ship.::
