Hey there,

Cheap? Cheap?!? Hehe...gotta love them Marlins.

Let's count now....not 1, 2, 3....but 8 scores in....what was it....1 inning? Oh what a wonderful sight...to hear the crowd go from screams to silence. :D

Course come tomorrow, I may eat my words, but for now...I'll take the opportunity to brag for my home team...something none of us South Floridians ever thought we'd be able to do again.

Consider I'm a Montrealer, I say Burn Jeffery Lorier & his little side kick to! Fred, I urge you to run him and step son out of town. Montreal could be a baseball haven. Except for years the owners haven't done the advertising right. I, and a quiet a few Montrealers blame Jeffery for the Expos being in the position they're in. On that I say Go Cube, and kick some fish!

I blame Major League Baseball for putting two teams in Canada in the first place.   ::D:

I hate baseball how can you guys watch it. Boring to watch boring to play, he hits the ball and someone catches it, he hits the ball and runs around, he doesn't hit the ball and is booed at. hehehe :D

Almost everyone in Florida watch baseball. (Many are really old, and have nothing better to do but watch baseball. ::laughs, looking at Fred:: )

Anyway, I'm going for the Cubs. Personally, I have never liked the Marlins... but then again, I rarely watch baseball. For me, it's just too slow! (Hockey is a much better sport. :D )

It should be an interesting game 7. Go Cubs!

Hockey... ::chuckles:: There's an activity that barely classifies as a sport in America.

Two Things:

1)Hockey has lower ratings than the WNBA...

2)Hockey has lower ratings than Enterprise...

have you seen any of those shows?  :dead:

Have you ever watched a hockey game? (Or better yet, have you ever been to one?) You get lucky just to know where the puck is at on the ice. It actually is non-stop action... player exchanges happen in the middle of the game, instead of during "dead" time. LOL - there is hardly any dead time in hockey. It is one of the most fast-paced games I have ever seen.

They got robbed in a bad way. If that fan didnt interfere with the catch they probaly would have won.

No, the old people watch golf.  Plus ... you have to live here to make fun of our old people.   :D

::still laughing about Grom's terminology correction::  But do you know what it's called when you make a point in Curling??

Hey there,

Seems you forget the Florida Panthers and their playoff run not too long ago. :D

As for Game 6, even if the fan hadn't gotten the ball, that still wouldn't have had a direct impact on the eight runs.

Oh...and as for Game 7....::grin::...Marlins going to the World Series!

Eh.. the Habs.. ::mumbles:: :D Even though we've got a weak defense, I say GO LEAFS GO! From a faithful Torontonian.  Staying on topic.. ::shakes head:: Dang Cubs.. what happened, eh?  I'm not normally a supersticious guy, but it looks like the curse of the Billy Goat struck again.   Their 95 year drought is still on.. so sad.   :D Cubs' Drought:  1908 - ??
