The Manticore is at Statiak Prime, soon to be a Federation member. 
Because of Council suspicions, A9 was ordered to investigate the 
people in advance of the induction.  The ship arrived under cloak 
while A9 and two covert away teams beamed down to investigate. 
Statiak has an annual "Purification," 12 hours when the gov't allows 
violence by the entire population.  The Manticore teams are now 
with a Purification resistance group, trying to get the gov't to outlaw 
the event. The teams cannot contact the ship due to a force shield 
and the resistance provided plans for a Manticore strike force to 
disable the shield. As the strike force is about to bring down the shield, 
a group of local unfriendlies attack the Resistance safe house.  They 
offer to stop fighting if we provide them supplies, so A9 goes to talk 
with them - and gets shot (I always get shot - this will never heal!)
