The Manticore is at Statiak Prime, soon to be a Federation member. 
Because of Council suspicions, A9 was ordered to investigate the 
people in advance of the induction.  The ship arrived under cloak 
while A9 and two covert away teams beamed down to find out and 
boy, have they!  Statiak has an annual "Purification," a 12-hour 
period when the gov't sanctions violence by all.  The Manticore 
teams are now together with a group who claims to be a Purification 
resistance, tryng to get the gov't to outlaw the event. The teams 
cannot contact thie ship due to a force shield and the resistance is 
about to lead a Manticore strike force to disable the shield, without 
killing too many locals, much to Kansas' discomfort.
