RES TALON MISSION BRIEFING 51710.19 - SEASON 22

The senior staff had just been called to a meeting to discuss our upcoming mission plans and work up a course of action for us to follow in checking out the Ustallan and Quatel systems to ensure that the Othan have not razed in in their departure from the area, and if we find them there, to root them out and set the systems free. Pexil and Seiben had been assigned tasks and to follow up with Laehval, who along with NDak were to have oversite on getting things moving and underway.

 Meanwhile, t'Vatrix has finally decided to have that discussion with t'Ksa that needs to be done and they have moved to her chambers.

(for now, we'll assume NDak has moved back to Stinger to make preparations to move towards our objectives

Laehval tTemarr: ::As prepared as they could be in this situation, and with something of a plan in mind, Laehval moved back onto the bridge to take her usual seat.::

KhreRiovtRex: Where au able to settle that group of children that au have been looking over here at the station? Arrangements made to reunite them with families, or some sort of temporary care?

m_k_tksa: With the exception of three of them, ie. The remaining have na family relations within the region in which they were found. We're still combing through the records we've gathered at the station to determine if there's a lead here. If na, we'll make arrangements for them locally at the next location. The Kheinsa has a few contacts that he's been working with to ensure their safety.

KhreRiovtRex: That is menkha. More so that they have mostly been returned to families. I look forward to reviewing au report to Galae Medical of the conditions au found them under and what care and treatments au and tr'Aieme have decided upon.

KhreRiovtRex: The other reason I've asked au fahd today, is that I am concerned about ....... our interactions. The crew holds au in high esteem, but it is noticeable, the tension that has built between us.

KhreRiovtRex: We used to have a strong working relationship, one of trust and respect, that served us both well with the crew, as well as with each other. However, for the better part of the last year, I only seem to garner feelings of loathing, disrespect and au being short with me.

KhreRiovtRex: This ship needs a strong united crew at this time. Au voice is held in high regard with the crew, so it would be in the best interest to our mission, that we try to reconcile whatever rift has formed between us.

m_k_tksa: And what exactly do au think has caused this rift that au have experienced?

KhreRiovtRex: At io time, au were the only person I could fully trust, and honestly it greatly bothers me, that relationship has been damaged.

KhreRiovtRex: As au well know, I had made the decision, to retire and end my time in space, to raise my family. I thought I was done with this, but then I was forced back here, with promises that if I did, my family would na be hurt.

KhreRiovtRex: The crew fahd, I have given all the chance to step away, back before we wrested control of chRihan back, afterwards before the attacks on the orbital platforms and again at the camps. All were offered to leave is they must, to reunite with family. It's my assumption, that since very few left, they wished to be fahd. Au however, I am unsure of?

KhreRiovtRex: I'm sorry that au feel that way, I had assumed au would step in while I was speaking. Fhaen...it is obviously that au have a great anger towards me, and I am....... honestly trying to .... to fix this.

m_k_tksa: Stepping in when another is speaking is rude.

m_k_tksa: Au speak of trust and respect. It's hard maintain feelings of trust and respect when io labeled a traitor for expressing an opinion or for asking clarifying questions at a mission briefing situation so that io may understand the true scope of what the mission entails. After months of that sort of treatment, a crew member would feel that it would be in their best interest to stay distant, if na for the safety of the crew but certainly for their own wellbeing.

KhreRiovtRex: But you conversed just fine there. I am trying here, I seriously want to know what it is that I have done to cause such a grievance between us. I had counted au as io of my own friends for years, and now I only feel contempt from au. Wait.......what? What do au mean... a traitor?

m_k_tksa: I do na have enough fingers and toes to count the many times au have either discounted opinions or outright called me or others a traitor to the Galae and ch'Rihan.

KhreRiovtRex: I... Morgana....if I may, there was a period, that I was blind with grief, I had given up and planned to let the Elements take me, however as much as I tried, they seemed reluctant to take me, and I seriously wished nothing but to yy'a a the time. Others kept forcing me to come back and take charge, I may have said things in my grief and anger, that I should na have, and for that, I do apologize to au if any of it was directly pointed towards au

KhreRiovtRex: I am trying to make amends fahd t'Ksa, to take responsibility for my words and actions, even if I do na remember it all.....

m_k_tksa: We've all experienced grief and loss here. Au are na the only io who lost family members. But au have taken it to an extreme and alienated those who could have supported au. I canna feel sympathy for io who I fear and can na trust, because at any moment au could turn on io or all of us.

KhreRiovtRex: Au feel I would do such? Even after we've taken back our planet and are working to make sure it does na happen again? I didn’t ask to be here. Au all, are here because au want to be. I was 'Forced' back and ie, others are dealing with loss and grief as well, which is why I offered any that needed the time to leave, they had a choice. Galae has na given me the same choice. My family was directly targeted in this mess, which is why I've taken this so personally. However, if au feel I am an ongoing danger, then fine, feel free to remove me. :: reaches down and pulls out her ie'yakk and slides it across the desk to t'Ksa:: As medical officer, au would be well within au right to remove me such. If au think it would make au all safer...then go ahead.
