Ayumu has been accused of gross negligence in her speeding across a sensitive section of space, and knowingly endangering a sentient species.

Currently Admiral Randy Calvert will be presiding over the trial, and has told Blu that she will have to be the Prosecutor.

He suggested that Ru be the Defender, but as she's been named as a possible person of interest, she's recused herself, and suggested a JAG officer defend Sieben.

STSF_BluRox: @ So Randy, I guess we should get this moving? You do realize that this puts me in a difficult position with my crew, that I'm not standing up for them?

Randy Calvert: @ Your duty is to the ship first and foremost. If they did their job, you would not have to do this one.

STSF_BluRox: @ Yes I know this, I just hope that they do as well.

STSF_BluRox: @ Yes, I believe I have the briefing ready that Commander Robinson prepared for me. I may call her to testify as well on her findings

Randy Calvert: Very well. This proceeding is a General Court Martial being brought by Starfleet against Lt Ayumu Kasuga. Would the prosecution please state its charges?

 STSF_BluRox: @ Today we are here to determine the level of guil6 displayed by Lt Ayumu, with her total disregard to Star Fleet Law, Treaty Speed limits that are posted, to those. Endangerment of a sentient spaces that has recently been discovered that has been harmed by the spacial rifts caused by careless speeding, and total disregard for the warnings for which we had been setting up as the offense occurred. Failure to comply with a direct order, and multiple instances of insubordination

 STSF_BluRox: Lt Ayumu, do I hear you correctly, that you are pleading guilty to all charges that have been filed?

 STSF Seiben: Ayumu> (w) I'm sure.

 

Randy Calvert:::: leans forward slightly::: Lieutenant... I want to make sure you understand the charges being brought against you and their severity. Are you sure you want to plead guilty to each and every charge?

 STSF Seiben: I do, sir.

 Rue Wydown: Lt Medley> I'm not entirely sure that my client understands the severity of the charges, Admiral. ::wondering about what's going on herself, especially since she just met the woman::

 STSF_BluRox: Lt Kasuga, do you realize that if you plead guilty to all charges, that you have the possibility of being incarcerated at the New Zealand Penal colony for up to as many as 15 years?  I want to make sure that you fully understand the implications of your plea?

 STSF Seiben: Yes sir.
