Lt. Commander Wydown has just relieved Ayumu Kasuga of duty, for gross dereliction of duty with regards to a charge of reckless piloting, through a posted fragile section of space. Posted speed limitations had already been listed, and with the advent of the most recent damage, the Republic had just updated Starfleet in recommending that even that speed needed to lowered and had just posted warning buoys and alert messages within the region.  However, it was noted that while Lt Jamieson was left in charge of the bridge at the time that the computer initiated a fail-safe override of the engines, it may be that she also could face charges. The ship already en-route to the nearest Starbase, where Ms Kasuga may have to answer for her actions.
