RES TALON Mission Briefing 51703.23 - Season 22>

 

As the senior members of the crew began to filter back to the camp, preparations were being made to return to Talon and inspect the repair work and assess its readiness to return to service. Crew still officially has time to go check on family, and participation in the assessment mission was indicated as optional.

<Laehval_tTemarr> ::Laehval was in discussion with a few of the newly implanted Galae engineers, working out the few snags they'd hit upon arrival.::

<M_K_tKsa> ::the group included tr'Aieme, t'Mas, tr'Rehu and t'Barrel along with a bunch of the local medical staff and a few of the patients::

<Lerak_trPexil> :: Looks up from his ISD and takes in the scene around him, thinking of his family once holed up at his underground home, now freed and with an unintentional new guest ::

<KogaSBien> ::looks around after dinner, and catching up with his family::

<KhreRiovtRex> :: walks over towards Pexil:: The roster notes Koga is still away from camp, I will need au to assist me. Have au seen t'Temarr?

<KogaSBien> ::decides to go on a hike in the mountains after the family just had their supper along with his younger brother::

<M_K_tKsa> ::showing the first genuine smile she's had in several months, she shared a slice of homemade cake with tr'Aieme as tr'Rehu puts on a show juggling specimen containers::

<KhreRiovtRex> I plan to return to Talon to assess it's readiness and state of repair. I know that Koga and t'A are still away. Contact tTemarr and t'Ksa to see if they wish to attend to the ship at this time, or if they have someone they wish to send in their stead

<M_K_tKsa> ::waiting for tr'Pexil's answer, glances back at the party noises behind her, rather impatient to return but na sure what's going on::

<Lerak_trPexil> +t'Ksa+ I believe the ship is still docked for repairs, so it would be our time from ch'Rihan to Talon. There is na requirement to attend. I can make an assessment of the medical readiness.

<Laehval_tTemarr> ::Laehval finished her rounds near the medical tent, arriving in time to hear Lerak's comm. She glanced at the festivities inside with a bemused smile, then looked back to Ksa.::

<KhreRiovtRex> I am returning to Talon to do an assessment, a few of the others may be joining as well. However I am leaving at once on my own ship. I wish au to come, and assess how long and what would be involved in scanning any of the sensitive areas, for spyware. I have no doubts, that someone has taken this opportunity, to

The structure still showing extensive damage, however, they had turned their attention after patching the worst of it, to repairing the ships that were damaged beyond the care of their own engineers<KogaSBien> Sesh;maru> I'd like to bring my hover-ski here.

<KhreRiovtRex> Contact the base, and inform them I intend to fly around the exterior of the repair structure before I bring the ship into the hanger bay

<Laehval_tTemarr> ACTION> Laehval and Lerak board the shuttle with others going to the Talon and take off, heading back to the ship. Yay!
