The freighter has been making it's way back towards the supposed subspace tear to see if the theory that the entity has been attempting to return there.

STSF_BluRox -> When we get near, just how are we going to get that entity off the ship and back to the rift... a probe might also be the answer.....providing, we could figure out how to get it into a probe instead of it just killing us

STSF_BluRox -> We know it likes energy.....what if we were somehow able to make a probe, that was just oozing with energy ....of some sort....., it might draw it right in?

STSF_BluRox -> just an idea

Rue Wydown -> But would a probe be big enough?

STSF_BluRox -> No idea. You've reported that you've seen it on the station Rue, what is your estimate of it's size?

August Jax Robinson -> we could put some dilithium crystal in a probe, then give it a shake ::Smirks::

Rue Wydown -> That's the problem. I didn't see *it*. I saw what it did.

STSF_BluRox -> Our other option.......is perhaps just what Rue first suggested...we dive right in with the ship........and.....then we make a quick exit in an escape pod, and wait for the Republic to come pick us up

Heather Jamieson -> And make sure we can escape the rift or any aftershocks

STSF_BluRox -> It might like crystals Jax. Does this old freighter keep any spare safely stored on board, or are you going to have to go rooting around in the engine? And can you do it safely here for yourself with the current....::looks around:: limitations

STSF_BluRox -> Well, there are a few ideas........let's run the numbers carefully, and see if any of these ideas pan out in simulations before we actually give a go. I'd hate to be floating around helpless in a pod, and drifing back into the thing

@ Holly is keeping her a distance to make sure there is no way it could jump to her.....about 2 hours back at this point....

STSF_BluRox -> we'd want them closer when we actually try something, but what I don’t' want to happen is for her to get too close, and something jump into her as well......we've seen how it can get into the computers....what if it were to get in, and....we're not having a repeat of Holly getting affected by an alien entity....we barely survived that
