RES TALON SIM LOG 51612.22

RES TALON MISSION BRIEFING 51612.22: The Stinger has arrived at the refugee camp on ch'Rihan and the crew is meeting with their leader. While hesitant to accept the assistance from those they consider traitors, the refugees are eager for any help that can be provided. Medical has developed an anti-agent to combat the biological weapon that has infected the population. Engineering has devised nano-technology that can be placed within the water table to begin isolating and eliminating the virus.

Laehval tTemarr -> (( Oh, I forgot that Pexil found his florist. ))

Lerak trPexil -> (Oh yes)

Lerak trPexil -> :: He was sure it was her, but her not recognizing him was an issue :: Do au remember me from the shop? I looked a bit different. Au took holo of me.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::With the refugee leader, Laehval frowned seeing just how many were critically ill. She motioned for medical to begin their inoculations.::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Standing around nearby::

Laehval tTemarr -> Florist> ::Blinking, she looked at him more closely.:: Oh! Ie! I do remember au... but... au are a criminal, are au na? The Tal Shiar came looking for au shortly after you left.

tAehjae -> :: standing guard near Laeh with other dheno::

KhreRiovtRex -> @::slowly waking, unsure of where she is::

Lerak trPexil -> Na, I am only an engineer.

ACTION> Talon's small medical crew began making the rounds, which caused a stir among the sick. Many were hesitant to be treated by who they considered traitors, thinking the Talon's crew meant them harm. One of the patients lashed out, sending a medic sprawling in the dirt and bleeding from a cut beneath her eye.

Lerak trPexil -> How did au end up here... wait.. it's not important. :: waves someone over ::

Lerak trPexil -> :: his ISD chirps :: Oh... +Laehval+ They are ready to treat the water system here.

Laehval tTemarr -> Florist> ::She began to speak, but her words dissolved into a coughing fit and she grabbed Lerak to keep from collapsing. There was blood on her hand when she pulled it away from her mouth.::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looks around and sees how out of hand :: Oh na.... Anyone from medical, help this woman please.

tAehjae -> :: seeing the Medic go flying moves to assist::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Gives the go ahead to make the water system treatment attempt ::

tAehjae -> :: gets to the downed medic:: Are au alright? ::helping him get up::

Laehval tTemarr -> S'Bien... go help the dhenos keep the peace!

NDak -> Err'din> ::returns from the central tent, having shown medical the way. He was still using his tall walking stick.::

Laehval tTemarr -> +Lerak+ Start with a small source and let me know the results.

Lerak trPexil -> We need to get that fixed. Do au trust me?

Lerak trPexil -> :: Some medic arrived at Lerak's side, giving him a strange look :: This her? :: Lerak nodded ::

Laehval tTemarr -> Medic> I'm fine... fine. Just a small cut. ::Gives the patient a glare.:: Some of them are refusing treatment...

Laehval tTemarr -> Florist> ::Looks at Pexil in confusion.:: Au can help?

tAehjae -> How can we help? :to the medic::

Koga S'Bien -> Yeah, we can help

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval turned to Err'din.:: Au need to speak to your people. If they wish to be cured, they need to let us help them.

Sick woman 1> stumbles over to tTemarr:: Au yy'a them, didn't au? Isn’t' it enough that au have done this to us? But au had to yy'a our men, our sons? Au are the ones they kept telling us to be wary of...and hnah...au have come back to finish au dirty work? To finish the rest of us off!!!!

Err'din> ::He frowned at Laehval, but nodded finally::

Medic> Ah... just keep them from hitting. All I need is a quick press of the hypospray.

KhreRiovtRex -> Sick woman 1> :: I won't let au yy'a anymore of us:: pulls out an antique disruptor and points it at Laehval:

Lerak trPexil -> :: to Florist :: That's why we are here.

Err'din> Au have to understand that there are many stories being told of the Galae, of the Othan, of the Tal'Shiar ... ::pauses seeing the sick woman having pulled a disruptor on Laehval::

tAehjae -> ::Turns to Leah them stops in her tracks seeing the weapon trained on her::

Sick woman 1> :: traitorous fvai...au have yy'a us all::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval stood her ground, staring down the sick woman and her disruptor.:: We have na killed anyone. We are here to cure au. The Tal Shiar and the Othans have unleashed this disease!

Sick woman 1> ::hands shaking, and not holding the weapon well::

tAehjae -> :: motions for a dheno to move around to approach from behind the sick woman::

Err'din> ::Clears his throat. He was elderly, but not completely lame:: Listen! ::finding his strength:: The Galae officer speaks the truth! They are here to save us!

Lerak trPexil -> :: The medic treating the florist hypos her ::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Pex is busy watching both her and the results of the first treatment ::

Sick woman> No...I won't believe..... :: crumples to the ground when the hypo hits her system, dropping the antique weapon:: which didn't even have a power cell in it...

Florist> ::Winces, expecting pain, but doesn't feel much of anything at the injection.:: I... thank au... there are others that need help more than I...

Tal Shiar medical> :: clears her throat behind Laehval:: Take care Enarrain....na all Tal Shiar were involved...do na implicate us all, least some of our officers, do the same with au people....

Lerak trPexil -> Hopefully the medicine can help you lungs.

tAehjae -> :: nods to the medic:: Show us which au need help with we will follow au.

Err'din> ::Exhales as the situation seemed to diffuse itself, but that meant that he did need to make a bigger deal of the situation than he hoped::

Nalia> ::She drew a breath and nodded.:: I feel better already... It doesn't hurt as much. I'm Nalia, by the way. What was your name again?

Lerak trPexil -> Oh, dispersal readings are very good. :: Watches the results like a reaction spreading in a pond ::

Lerak trPexil -> (That to me right? LT?)

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval arched an eyebrow at the medic.:: Perhaps na all, but many. But I will be careful to make the distinction in the future. Laehval tTemarr -> (( yep ))

Lerak trPexil -> :: Smiles :: Lerak

Err'din> ::Laehval:: I will speak to my people.

Err'din> As au can see they are scared, frightened, and there is much... confusion as to who is responsible for the situation.

Laehval tTemarr -> Medic> ::Hopes that Err'din's speech talked some sense into these people. She nodded to t'Aehjae.:: Help hold them down while I inject. We'll do it fast.

Lerak trPexil -> Don't mistake feeling good for being out of danger. :: holds up a finger to wait a moment :: +Laehval+ The first treatment trial looks good.

tAehjae -> :: nods and moves to assist as directed grabbing the first person near them::

Lerak trPexil -> +Laehval+ The spread of the treatment is vastly better with the added intelligence of the nano-machines.

KhreRiovtRex -> @ ::still totally exhaused she did na have any will to bother getting up. Her first thoughts still that of feeling lost, empty and full of despair.

Laehval tTemarr -> Ie, there is. ::A nod to Err'din.:: Perhaps that is our next order of business after your people have been seen to. We should show them the truth. We have holos of the battles, files of their plans...

Lerak trPexil -> Treating the air will be relatively easy, but will look like we are poisioning things

Laehval tTemarr -> +Lerak+ Excellent. Move on to something larger and run the same tests. I do not wish to put the water system in jeopardy.

tAehjae -> :: holding folks while the medics do the injections:::

Lerak trPexil -> +Laehval+ Right away. +Team+ Move to phase 2, their main recycler

NDak -> @Gaellev> ::One of the House of N'Dak's longest serving household staff, she was something between nanny and cook. These days she mostly looked to Destorie's not-totally-insane sister's children, though she knew that the family only kept her out of a sense of loyalty as her duties were few. That had been fine of course with her. Destorie had sent for her now, though, to do work because he trusted her implicitly. She shook her head thinking of him as a child and turned her attention to her new charge::

KhreRiovtRex -> @ If only they had let the Othan dispose of her on Othan Prime, would her son still be alive? Or Var'lon..what of him? Why had na he or his crew contacted her?

Laehval tTemarr -> Nalia> Lerak. I like that name. Very strong. ::She managed a slight smile, though still looked gaunt.::

@Gaellev> ::She had made her charge some warm broth and noodles, as well as some hot tea with a slightly bitter fruit and honey infusion added. The woman had been sleeping for some time, or starring aimlessly, Gaellev could na tell, but still Destorie had told her that she had lost much and such was to be expected.:

Lerak trPexil -> :: Laughs :: Au may be the first to ever say that. It was my great grandfather's

@Gaellev> ::Smiling, she sat the tray down near t'Vatrix and went to get another warm blanket out of the closet.:

Lerak trPexil -> I need to have my mother feed au when this is over Nalia. She has ways of fattening people up, like my father.

Err'din> ::Nods again to Laehval:: Ie, ie... if au will excuse me I will speak to them in small groups. I do na think anyone trusts gathering in large ios yet.

Medic> ::Working with t'Aehjae, letting security do the grunt work while she stayed safe. Slowly, assisted by the dhenos, the medics began working through the large crowd.::

Lerak trPexil -> N-Na that au don't look fine... but this virus has stricken au.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded to Err'din.:: We will continue our efforts here. I need to speak with my engineers.

Nalia> ::She swayed in place, looking tired and on the verge of collapse.::

Nalia> I have na had much of an appetite.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Goes to steady her :: Hold onto me for now.

KhreRiovtRex -> @ :: lost hrrau her own thoughts, she vaguly noted that someone was nearby, but she cared na to react, she just did na care. The smell of the broth caused her stomach to betray her thoughts, na wanting to bother eating, her stomach growled at her all the same. However she continued to stare at the shaded window across the room

@Gaellev> ::Returns to the sitting area where t'Vatrix had been settled into with the blanket, draping it over her before taking her own seat nearby. The old woman smiled towards t'Vatrix again before producing something akin to Rihan crochet and began working the yarn.:: I made you some [romulan name for something close to chicken noodle soup], it is na much but it will warm au. The tea is also quiet comforting, a blend from io of the outer colonies. Destorie's mother -- Ambassador N'Kedre -- is quite fond of it.

Nalia> ::Grips his arm and leans against him.:: Aren't I keeping au from important work?

Lerak trPexil -> I can work from here. I get to supervise.

Koga S'Bien -> Supervising is fun.

NDak -> ((quite not quiet ))

NDak -> (( I should put on my glasses ))

Lerak trPexil -> Is there anyone we should notify about your condition Nalia?

ACTION> t'Aehjae's next patient brandished a knife as they neared. "Don't au dare touch me!" *coughcough*

Laehval tTemarr -> Nalia> ::She shook her head sadly.:: Na, I have na io.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Walking back to Lerak's position, she paused, seeing him with a woman on his arm. Her expression was unreadable, but she certainly didn't look happy.::

Laehval tTemarr -> (( Two minute warning. ))

tAehjae -> Au will put that down, We are trying to help au and aus poeple. Au are sick

ACTION> Luckily, most of the patients were far too weak to put up any real fight. He collapsed back into his bed, knife falling to the ground.

Lerak trPexil -> I should have au sit.. seems I need both arms for this Nalia.. :: guides her to a place to sit ::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: laying there, na resisting the addition of the blanket, she remained still, but unexpected stiffened when the woman mentioned Destorie's Ri'anov. NDak...he had been at her home....he had taken her away from the grave...but....Elements.....was this his home? What if his father, or sister were here as well?

tAehjae -> ::shakes her head at the man::

Nalia? ::She arched an eyebrow at Lerak.:: Who is this?

Lerak trPexil -> Someone I met at the start of this mission. How she ended here I do not know.

@Gaellev> This is her family home. ::She continued her crocheting. It was a nebulous shape for h'nah, but the yarn was very pretty:

Lerak trPexil -> Phase 2 is nearly complete, they are tabulating the results now.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: ! Her first thoughts were perhaps she should attempt to flee, to get to a better position to determine what was going on, but then she struggled with her other thoughts, actually welcoming them to put an end to this.....

Nalia> ::She waved weakly, still gripping Lerak's arm for support as he helped her to a seat.::

Nalia, this is a long time friend of mine and my boss Laehval.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval's lips pressed together and she frowned.:: Do na let yourself be distracted from the job at hand, tr'Pexil. Let the maenaks care for her.

@Gaellev> Au must be wondering who I am, goodness my manors. I am Gaellev, I do not come from any great house, but have been fortunate enough to serve the House N'Kedre for many years, and then the House N'Dak. I suppose au could call me a retainer of sorts. I do look after the grandchildren, though a younger nanny does much of the hard work.

Lerak trPexil -> I know. :: watches the new results come in :: Ah, promising results here as well.

@Gaellev> When he was quite a bit younger, I... ::stops hearing a knock at the main door::

Lerak trPexil -> As long as we can replicate these machines we should be able to treat the entire water system in a few hours.

@Gaellev> ::Not wishing to alarm t'Vatrix she trailed off, but set the crocheting aside:: Ah, io moment. I think io of the other staff is calling for me from the kitchen.

KhreRiovtRex -> @ :: so she was at the N'Dak home...but with the nanny......the thought of children...her child. She closed her eyes tight again at the thought, just as a knock was heard at the door....

PAUSE SIM

PAUSE SIM

PAUSE SIM

Koga S'Bien -> ::Paused::

tAehjae -> ::paused::

Lerak trPexil -> :: paused ::

KhreRiovtRex -> Nicely done everyone, so very glad that you could join us tonight, being so close to the holiday.

Lerak trPexil -> I have nowhere else to go.. :: sobs ::

KhreRiovtRex -> So we will officially na sim next week, however, as au know where au are, and would like to get together and work on a log, even if it's just chatting in the room, please feel free.

KhreRiovtRex -> Anyway, we wish you all Happy Holidays, whichever you celebrate, and a Happy New Year....Be safe everyone and we'll see you back here in 2017, if na next week.

Laehval tTemarr -> Merry Christmas, everyone.

KhreRiovtRex -> Anything else Laehval, NDak...anyone else?

Koga S'Bien -> Merry Christmas and happy new year

NDak -> Just, merry holidays and thanks for letting me have some fun!

tAehjae -> Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Laehval tTemarr -> Everyone have a good holiday. See you back in a couple of weeks.

Laehval tTemarr -> I hope Santa brings you something good.

Laehval tTemarr -> Except you, S'Bien. You've been bad this year.

KhreRiovtRex -> I want a Repaired ship!

Laehval tTemarr -> I heard you're getting a flaming bag of reindeer poop.

KhreRiovtRex -> she still remembers Koga!

KhreRiovtRex -> she does not like you betraying her!

KhreRiovtRex -> Alrighty then....and with that...Crew Dismissed!
