USS REPUBLIC MISSION BRIEFING 51611.28 - SEASON 25

Heather and Ayumu have retrieved and downloaded the computer data from the derelict ship, and are returning to evaluate it, Rue has followed the trail of the blue sparks and has ran into two of our redshirts that were on leave with us when this all started. Blu and Jax are in Ops, gathering information and instructing that the dead CO be taken to sickbay. Christina is in sickbay investigating the dead bodies...

STSF_BluRox -> Ok...:: looking at the ops staff:: The CO is deceased, the XO just went below, where there have been more deaths, I'd like to have someone please either escort him back here, and we'll send my engineers to have a look. But I want some security with them.....On 2nd thought..that will take too much time... Jax..see if you can get that going, and we should meet down in engineering once you do.

STSF_BluRox -> Like this....:: takes feet off the rungs and just hangs on by paws, leeting herself slide down the ladder some, until picking up too much speed, then catching a rung with her foot to slow herself

 

ACTION: RUE'S SCANNER CRACKLES WITH ENERGY AS IT SPIKES OFF THE SCALE

August Jax Robinson -> Admiral, we might need a portable power pack to get the computer running::

RS1> It's different...I spent some time in ops before, learning bridge duty...it' reads more like...some sort of subspace energy leakage

ACTION: Readings spike again, and this time the room noticeably brightens around the area of the subspace readings

 

Heather Jamieson -> Well.. :: Finds somewhere to sit :: I can look at a bit of the data at least.

Rue Wydown -> So what is causing this 'leak'?

RS2> I wonder if that ship full of dead they were talking about? If they saw it there on their ship too? Do you know if Ayumu and Heather were able to return
