Today’s shift was the time I supervised the end of the trial and the end of Mogg’s career in Starfleet. I could feel the cold damp shock and anger of the crew as I proceeded down the corridor to my quarters afterwards. One can only wonder the feelings the crew will have towards Captain Meve and Commander Ayers I can only feel complete empathy towards them for such a difficult situation for them to go through more then anyone on board with the except of Mogg of course. For them to have a member of the station to even need to go through a trial only looks bad on them and also losing a long time member is just dreadful.

 

Most of my empathy goes towards Ayers of course doing several things that he surely did not want to do but most defiantly needed to do. The thing that I think most have been most difficult for him was discrediting Dr. Images for I can tell how much it hurt him to go through that and I can only hope each of them can look past these sad times and further more the rest of the crew.

 

I do think it hurt the crew a lot because I am ordered to go around the station and question people on some property damage and minor assaults. They are all very minor a few dented bulk heads, PADDs hitting crewmen’s heads, and other such things obviously caused by sudden fits of rage.

 

There were some good news today I am now an Ensign and I am pretty sure Tona will be proud of that so I’m going send her a communiqué right away. Two other crewmembers were promoted to ensigns as well I believe they were X’dill and Zertz who were the other Midshipmen who turned to ensigns which is a great thing but you can not do so much celebrating at a time like this.
