Christie Farron

A Farron Log: "Tale of Two Cities"

Lieutenant, Junior Grade, Christina Farron

Exobiology & Neurology Specialist

USS Manticore    NCC-5852

Christie looked around Sickbay, and realized that most people had returned to duty. The large patient area was virtually empty. Lieutenant T'lev was the only person actually asked to be removed from Sickbay through this fiasco, because of his blood contamination risk that was caused when he cut himself... over Jami. I felt it best not to imform Atragon of this, since it was obvious he was having problems elsewhere - and waiting for Jami at the same time. After repeated scans, no contamination was made.

She decided that Mele should be the one to give Atragon the odds of Commander Farrington's survival. As of best guess now, it was looking... good. But, there were many factors to be put into the decision of whether or not Jami would survive. Kyle knew these much better than Christie did, although she knew it involved the status of her torso area. Jami will probably have surgery quite soon.

Christie smirked. She wasn't going to say anything about Jami. The Commander and Mele were good friends, and if anyone should give any news about her... it should be him. Christie was definately not going to get involved with premature decisions.

While waiting, Christie picked up her PADD, and began reading a book. It was an old book - a fictional one written by Charles Dickens entitled A Tale of Two Cities. She began reading it, realizing that she had nothing else to do.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...."

Christie looked around the almost-empty Sickbay. "Yes," she said, "this book will be perfect."

And on that note, she continued reading, seeing that the beginning of the infamous book described her life almost perfectly. Only the occasional route of checking on the remaining Sickbay patients - especially Jami - could take her mind from that book. Sitting on an empty biobed, she let her mind wonder what her future would hold.
