Science has discovered a possible method that could be used to transport Excalibur back to its own time.  However, if return isn't an option, Captain Swain has decided that our only course of action will be to scuttle the ship and settle on the unoccupied planet of Sarras in hopes of not altering the historical timeline any further.

Science and medical have been poking and prodding Ensign Mincine in hopes that foreign DNA in her blood might be the key to slipping back to our own time.  Meanwhile, Engineering has almost completed the most significant repairs needed, mainly to the hull and structural elements.  Now all that remains is for their theories and repairs to be tested.

Final checks have been completed and work is proceeding to prepare for the slingshot, though Science has made a break through and may be ready to present their space lube plan.

Excalibur is readying for an attempt to return to their own time using a rather unorthodox method: space lube, crafted from molecules of Irene's blood and reproduced by proto-horta microbes found on the planet they have been orbiting for several days as they made repairs. The USS Lysander is staying just in range, should anything go wrong that leaves us in this time period, but has moved to a safe distance.

Excalibur attempted to trip the light fantastic and slip gently through time and space back to 2388. Things, however, did not go as planned and they now find themselves sometime unknown, BUT AT LEAST IN THE RIGHT STAR SYSTEM 50% of mission goals ain't bad!!

Excalibur has found herself lost in time, again. And now with two Irene's, which seems problematic. At least we got a little closer to home, but we may have also changed that future by accidentally ruining the planet we had formerly been based on. Oopsies.

Excalibur, lost in the year 2338 continues to attempt to both make sense of their attempt to return to their correct time period failed and also make repairs. Tensions are running high as they have detected an incoming warp signature that should be entering into visual range soon. It has been two hours since we last saw our valiant heroes, will Rhan have gotten a sandwich, will Irene still be blue and red, will Will have blown something up? FIND OUT!

As If the GM had watched a certain episode of TNG recently, the USS Enterprise-C under Captain Rachel Garrett has arrived at Sarras and has offered assistance. Meanwhile, dire straits for Team Mincine as their version of the science officer is in rough shape in medical.

Excalibur, lost in the year ~2282~ 2338, finds itself once again looking for solutions. Their luck seems to have changed, a bit, as the USS Enterprise C has arrived in Sarras, apparently having detected the unusual chroniton signature of the Excalibur falling out of the slipstream. Commander Hawthorne has been a tyrannical martinet about protocol, while Captain Swain has concluded a meeting with the Enterprise command staff. Supplies from the E-C are starting to arrive, as are repair and relief crews. Science has yet to be allowed to talk to their counter parts, but a meeting has been arranged in the mess hall of relevant science staff from both ships.

Excalibur has received a respite in the form the historic Enterprise-C, though that has provided a few complications of its own. As we pick up, it has a been several hours since the E-C crew began assisting in repairs, medical relief, and a joint science team had started work on getting us home in one piece.

Who's the crew with a plan? That's right nothing can break us down, except for maybe this idea dropping us off in like, who knows, the 1990s. Anyway... the crew, with the help of the USS Enterprise-C have devised a possible plan to send us home using an inverse tachyon beam (when has that failed) and the planet Irene ruined. Science is working to determine the exact variance needed to modulate the beam to, while Engineering works to ready the ship.  Enterprise is meanwhile working to modify their deflector dish. Swain and Hawthorne are conferring about the risks to both ships.

Several hours have passed and the crew has been working hard to ready the ship for testing Science's theory that an inverse tachyon beam could generate enough power to effectively punch a hole through space and time to get Excalibur back to it's original era.  With the Enterprise's deflector dish modified, we are ready to begin testing (with probes) to discover and fine tune the exact beam modulations and variances needed for such a risky maneuver.

During a trial of science's idea to return us to our correct time, a malfunction forced Excalibur to enter the temporal fissure without proper testing. As the curtain goes up, our heroes have just emerged from the fissure, but when?

Though we managed to return to our own time period, the Excalibur has seen some better days. Several days have passed, and repairs continue, albeit slowly. Our Romulan, Tamaran and Kaedwani visitors, who we had taken aboard just before we were sent back through time, have recently departed to their own homeworlds. Several Tamarian ships are assisting. A Starfleet tug, the USS Abanaki is en route, while the Nebula-class USS Mont Blanc has arrived as well to begin evacuating Excalibur's crew.

The crew has been instructed to begin gathering their things as it may be some time before the Excalibur arrives via tug at Starbase 39 Tango.

The Excalibur has finally returned from Sarras under tow. An evaluation is being completed by Starfleet as to the future of the Excalibur-C. The crew has been given leave aboard the starbase, though several crew are considering their next moves already. TBS is about a week and half.

The Excalibur senior officers (y'all) have been asked to a briefing, unusually, at the Ibizia Lounge which has a gorgeous view of the Excalibur in dry dock.

It's been over a month since the Excalibur was formally decommissioned. Many of the crew have gone their own way seeking other assignment or moved on from Starfleet altogether. Curiously, the core of the old senior staff have found themselves rounded up in a conference room on Mars, but with no other orders. No one has seen either of their former command team in weeks, either.

The Excalibur has completed a rendezvous with the USS Georgetown where they have taken aboard additional supplies and crew before heading towards the Elasian homeworld where they will be joining an escort party for a large number of Elasian vessels that have been sold to the Cardassian government.
