The Excalibur continues to investigate the cause of the catastrophic failure of the power systems on the planet, and believe it could be tied to the neural gel packs exhibiting some, well, unusual properties. They are being assisted by a Caitian scientist who appears to be related to our own brood, but has a darker past. Meanwhile, the medical ship USS Mary Seacole appears to be exhibiting power failures and we have lost communications with them.

The Excalibur crew continues to investigate the cause of a planetary power grid failure and believe it could be tied to the bio-neural circuitry achieving some base level of sentience/conscience that should not have developed. Meanwhile, both the USS Mary Seacole and the USS Tennessee Valley are themselves experiencing technical difficulties, though we have yet to confirm the cause and if they are related to the issues on the planet.

As the Excalibur continues to investigate the power grid failure, having narrowed down on the neural gel packs as the likely culprits -- though a number of questions remain, the Tennessee Valley and the Mary Seacole, which have been leading relief efforts on the planet have begun experiencing power failures. A team from Excalibur has been dispatched to establish communications as well collect samples from the ship's neural gel packs on the chance there is a connection.

Having located the source of the defective gel packs, Dazim has left. On the Tennessee Valley and Mary Seacole, they are working to restore power as well locate the source of their own problems. Our engineering teams continue to dig into the gel packs as well to determine how it spread.

A search has been launched for Dazim who Tandaris believes has more to tell us. Aboard the Tennessee Valley and Mary Seacole, efforts are underway to by-pass their neural gelpacks.

Down on the planet, Tandaris and his team bug Dazim for more answers.  Though the Tennessee Valley and Mary Seacole are without power, efforts are underway to bypass their neural gelpacks.  Taking precautions to avoid power outages caused by the gelpacks, the Excalibur has already begun bypassing all systems that use them.  However, some systems in medical have already begun to fluctuate.

Tandaris has returned to Excalibur with a “cured” gel-pack that we should be able to use to inoculate our own gel packs. The Tennessee Valley and Mary Seacole are still without power, but sending “cured” gel-packs to them should aid them to quickly reestablish their power grid.

Following their mission to Alpha Veras II, Excalibur has been docked at Starbase 39 Tango undergoing repairs to numerous systems while the crew gets a much needed rest. Refitting of the ships bioneural systems has been slow as the Federation Council has required all gel packs to be tested to prevent further issues occurring and to assure that they are not "sentient." Senior staff has gathered to discuss their upcoming mission to El-Qua'Chiva Prime to assist the locals with repairs of their solid waste and sewage systems, however Captain Swain is conspicuously missing as the brief winds down.

The crew is preparing for a mission to El-Qua'Chiva Prime to assist with solid waste and sewage system upgrades and repairs; they are also hanging tight at SB 39 Tango while the Excalibur continues to undergo repairs and refits to numerous systems following the mission to Alpha Veras II. However, and unusual development seems to be coming about in the Ready Room.

Commander Arden Cormoran has delivered news that Captain Swain is missing. He and Commander Hawthorne have decided to quietly begin searching for him, opting against telling Command for fears that he will be listed AWOL and the search be taken out of Excalibur's hands. We pick up with the search beginning.

Captain Swain is missing, but we seem to have uncovered a few clues. We continue our preliminary search for evidence this week on EXCALIBUR.

Our search for Captain Swain has shifted directions and the crew have transferred aboard the USS Lugh -- an aging Miranda-class vessels that had been serving as a parts bin -- to pursue a lead on Tellar Minor, though we're on the clock as the Admiral has indicated he cannot cover for us for more than a few days. We pick up en route.

Aboard the USS Lugh, a group of Excalibur crew have been authorized to investigate the disappearance of the Captain Swain. Their first clue is he may have gone to Tellar Minor aboard his yacht. We are entering the system as we pick up.

The Excalibur crew has arrived in orbit of Tellar Minor aboard the USS Lugh, where they believe Captain Swain might be. Two landing teams have been dispatched to the surface, one headed to a signal matching the captain's yacht, while another heads to meet with a Dr. Ornn, a possible lead into Swain's disappearance.

Aboard the USS Lugh, the crew have arrived at Tellar Minor on the trail of Captain Swain. Miranda's team have located the yacht and are looking for clues, while Commander Cormoran and his team met with a scientist mentioned in the logs recovered by Science K'Hal, who's pointed them to a museum where artifacts from a dig were found.

The game's afoot, eh? The team at the yacht have uncovered some clues as to what Swain has been looking for -- a map of some sort. There was also a name written down in what appears to have been an apology note of sorts -- Kai Emaril. Meanwhile, Arden's team has learned that the artifact connected to the dig that Swain had been reaching from his time as a science officer aboard the Pei Xei has gone missing. Is there a connection? The teams are regrouped at the yacht, where the Commander had some questions for Arden about this Kai.

The hunt for Captain Swain has taken a new turn as we've learned there appears to be a connection to an artifact found in an excavation on Tellar Minor some years ago and a former Starfleet officer, Kai Emarill who was once involved with Swain. We also learn Swain appeared to be looking for coordinates to match up to a map of some sort that is connected to the artifact.

The search for Captain Swain continues. Through a bit of intrepidity, they have developed a working theory that missing artifact is related to a starmap of some type. Tandaris has conjectured based on Swain’s notes found in the Llamrei that the map has to be deciphered in stages, with each stage building on the next (e.g., the star map for the next point requires coordinates from the next.) With that in mind, the Excalibur crew, aboard the USS Lugh, have left Tellar Minor for Tandaris’ calculations of the fifth point -- a moon in the Collabras system.

The AT has landed safely near overgrown ruins on a small moon of the Collabras system. There are some indications someone has been here recently, but so far no traces of the Captain. As we pick up they are walking towards the ruins towering in the background along a walkway that lit up as soon as they stepped out.  Spooky, right?

The team continues deeper into the temple ruins, following a low-frequency beacon apparently left behind by the Captain. They have entered a room with several exits, but have determined the path follows one of the two exits in the "upstairs" part of the large, atrium-like room.

The team continues deeper into the ruined temple after surviving two rather precarious predicaments with what were presumably defense systems left behind by whoever built the temple. Both K'hal and Hunter have seen strange mirages, but nothing more on that front. As we pick up, the team has entered slightly flooded room where a set of stairs leads lower into the complex. Water runs steadily down the stairs.

The Excalibur crew has found a small holoemitter from Captain Swain left behind in the temple vault pointing the way to the final destination, which he indicated he had not informed his captors of the final location and that they would need to go to the sixth coordinate first. The group is returning to the yacht to head back to the Lugh.
