USS REPUBLIC MISSION BRIEFING 51610.24 - Season 24 - Station Shoreleave .... continued....

 

The crew while taking a bit of time to unwind after a few very stressful missions, have met for a relaxing evening aboard Remote Station 344. While waiting for the rest of their first order of snacks and drinks...it was noticed that there were some power fluxuations, and some very nervous looks from the few other customers in the establishment.

The serving girl had mentioned that this had been happening since a dead ship, with it's dead crew had been tractored aboard...and now.... there had been several deaths here....As the lights flickered yet again.....and briefly went out....they heard a scream from down the corridor....

STSF_BluRox -> Easy everyone.....I’m sure station security will have all in order.... Probably someone not used to being on a station and having the power go out....yet....perhaps we should discuss this with the station command crew, to see if we can lend any assistance. if there was an emergency, I'm sure they'd have sounded an alarm....

ACTION:: Lights begin to flicker again

 

STSF_BluRox -> Republic> +COM+ Admiral...this is Holly. We've noticed a number of strange energy spiked aboard the station, and sensors picked up ....what could almost be some sort of energy arc....as if it were reaching for the ship. I've had Ops move the ship to a safer distance from the station. We will see if we are able to beam you back, but we may need to send a shuttle for you

Rue Wydown -> Anyone have an emergency light on 'em? I'm a thinkin' we ought to find out what's going on or at the very least head back to the ship?

ACTION: Emergency power comes back on, providing dim lighting around the station....

STSF_BluRox -> I only have my padd, since I had been reporting to the station commander about the transfer of the sample...however....while we spoke as to the security of the sample.....he never mentioned a .....:: stops:: power issue.... Oh crud......that sample....Quickly...

ACTION:: As Christina and Heather move down the corridor towards the group of crew and security they note that they are leaning over what appears to be a body in the center of the floor....

Station Security> No idea. Medical is still looking at the other bodies. And those of the ship we brought in...the entire ship was just....dead...no sign of weapons fire, no struggle. air was present

ACTION:: Light's flicker again...and go out... a strange blue crackling of light or energy seen near where the other group had been standing near the bodies......it arcs back and forth....almost like there was a short circuit in a panel...

ACTION:: Emergency lighting comes back up.......and .... Again....a woman screams... looking at two of the security officers laying on the ground....
