TBS was 15 minutes. The time is 1550 hours (3:50 pm) Aegis Local.

All ships are unphased. The defense grid is up. Missouri's task force, the Mithraan Defense Force and 5 Romulan Warbirds surround the station. The Aliens are holding hostages, including Tarisa, Annisha, and Alexis. We have 15 minutes to comply with the Alliance request. The origin of their communication symbol has been pinpointed and LtCdr Lawliet has put the device's internal sensors in a loop.

Alexis McFarland -> ::looks around the park for anyone or anything suspicious as well as anything she can detect telepathically::

Tarisa -> Seeing as how the device has done nothing to keep us away, I believe it is being controlled remotely.

Annisha -> :: The device looked like a squared off table with a hole in the middle, or perhaps an old console from some bygone era ::

Kallah Ramson -> Try getting a stable com with anyone in there. We need to coordinate our efforts.

Nijil tr'Korjata -> :: Keeping one eye on engineering, and another eye of Annisha. It was killing him to maintain both, but he had to attack this from an angle he understood ::

Kallah Ramson -> ::turns to Scott:: We really need to find the source and the nature of who is controlling the device.

Scott Coleridge -> Last I heard, Missouri has pinpointed the source. ((I don't know where.))as

Cdr Wyatt Cayne -> :: Cayne, on the other hand, was trying to ascertain any explosive avenues of disposal of this weapon ::

Jylliene -> No response yet.

Fletcher Jackson -> ::Scott:: Yes, sir. They reported.

Kallah Ramson -> ::Scott:: Then we need to know the nature. If it's something we can simply jam or a deadman's switch.

Tarisa -> ::Perks up as she hears her comm. Taps it.:: +Jylliene+ :: Heavy Static.:: Hello? If you can hear me, we have been...tinkering with the device. I believe it is being controlled remotely, from a source on the station. The device itself has no monitoring capabilities.

Jylliene -> +Tarisa+ Ops to Lieutenant Tarisa. Do you copy?

Lawliet -> ::adjusts the internal communications:: Try again.

Cptn d'Ka -> = Mr. Sojek, do you have a direct enough fix to target that area of the station?

Jylliene -> +Tarisa+ Passing that on.

Jylliene -> They're tinkering. Believe it's remotely controlled from the station, no monitoring capabilities apparent to them on the device itself.

Tarisa -> +Jylliene+ The children are fine. They are a big help.

Cptn d'Ka -> = Sojek> Scans are not conclusive, Captain. The area has minimal shielding, but enough to make it difficult for an exact fix.

Alexis McFarland -> ::climbs on top of the device::

Tarisa -> ::smiles at the girls. She holds out the part to Annisha.:: What do you suppose this is?

Kallah Ramson -> If they're interacting with it then it's probably not being monitored from within the shield either. They'd see what was going on.

Annisha -> Does anyone have a knife or something? A girl's trying to break in here...

Scott Coleridge -> ::Kallah:: I'm not sure how much Missouri will be able to help with that. Perhaps we should send a security team to that area.

Kallah Ramson -> Do it.

Cptn d'Ka -> = ::turns to Chirakis:: Do you have anyone in that area?

Alexis McFarland -> I'm still in my pyjamas here, with no pockets. ::crawling over top of it::

Kallah Ramson -> But take care. If they find themselves trapped they're activate it.

Chirakis -> = There is a possibility that Commander Cayne is in the area. His last position was two decks above.

Scott Coleridge -> +Cayne+ We have found a signal being transmitted to the device. We believe it's controlling the device remotely. I'm sending you coordinates of the area of the station it originates from.

Alexis McFarland -> ::gestures to some people she finds suspicious looking around the park discretely::

Scott Coleridge -> +Cayne+ It doesn't appear to be moving. ::sends Missouri's scan information::

Cptn d'Ka -> = Tan> I have a fix on Commander Cayne, Captain. Two levels up, three sections east.

Scott Coleridge -> +Cayne+ We don't know much about it beyond that. I want you to take a team and enter that area with extreme caution.

Cdr Wyatt Cayne -> :: Checks his holopadd :: Ah.. hard to access.

Chirakis -> = He is. Very capable in stealth and EOD.

Alexis McFarland -> ::looking around, trying to isolate them by telepathy::

Kallah Ramson -> ::Lawliet:: Okay. Keep an eye on it. See if there's any pattern, if any code has to be sent to keep it from going off.

Cdr Wyatt Cayne -> +Cole+ They choose this space wisely, close to our comm multiplexer and has an entry point that is a choke point.

Kallah Ramson -> ::glances at the relayed info from Missouri::

Fletcher Jackson -> ::monitoring external threats, and there are none so far:::

Scott Coleridge -> +Cayne+ Do what you can to get as close to the source without being detected. We don't want them getting an itchy trigger finger, but we need more information. Fast.

Scott Coleridge -> ::Ramson:: If the signal is not constant, it can't be a deadman's switch, right?

Alexis McFarland -> Most people, I can detect fear and concern, but there's one person, aside from those two Vulcans, that I can't sense anything. The man in the grey jacket.

Scott Coleridge -> That suggests we could employ a jamming field to block new input.

Kallah Ramson -> ::Jyl:: Scan the perimeter of that things shield. Any holes under it?

Tarisa -> ::Glances about the area, spotting the man, but not stopping on him. She then turs back to the girls.:: I see.

Kallah Ramson -> Overlay access points on the park's floor.

Jylliene -> ::quickly overlays the display::

Scott Coleridge -> ::Lawliet:: See if you can determine the type of signal being used so we can work on jamming it.

Alexis McFarland -> I don't know if it means anything, but It's a start. ::looks at the device as she crawls on it::

Kallah Ramson -> ::looking at the twists and turns of the service area under the park::

Cdr Wyatt Cayne -> :: It takes a few minutes to get close to the area, but he got there, a team of five behind him ::

Tarisa -> ::Places the broken off part on top of the device.::

Kallah Ramson -> +Tarisa+ There's a weak spot in the shield around you underneath the device. There's service areas under the park's sod. It might be a way out.

Lawliet -> ::Coleridge:: I think I can jam it, but I'll need about five minutes to configure the system.

Scott Coleridge -> We might not have five minutes, but get started.

Tarisa -> +Kallah+ Understood Captain, but we have reason to believe there may be an intruder amongst us. I consider Alexis a very reliable source. But I will try to look.

Chirakis -> = Several decades. His records are largely sealed. He was left to fend for himself after Argesil.

Kallah Ramson -> +Tarisa+ See if you can get a distraction going. Just don't panic too many civilians.

Tarisa -> ::Looks to the girls.:: Can you create a distraction?

Cdr Wyatt Cayne -> :: The well-lit corridors were replaced in the access shaft with near-emergency lighting.. and there was climbing involved ::

Alexis McFarland -> ::crawls to the side and looks at Annisha:: Any ideas, Annisha?

Chirakis -> Team> ::shoulders their weapons to begin the climb:::

Kallah Ramson -> ACTION> Cayne and the teams suddenly drop off Aegis' internal sensors as they pass from one section into another.

Lawliet -> ::busy working at his station:: Almost there.

Cptn d'Ka -> = Tan> Commander Cayne is out of sensor range.

Scott Coleridge -> ::sees Cayne disappear from sensors, which was expected given the damage in that area::

Kallah Ramson -> (( And to clarify, you're just off sensors...haven't passed into the afterlife or anything like that....yet ))

Lawliet -> ::inputs command:: I got it.

Cptn d'Ka -> = ::looks up:: Keep watching that area. Lock on when they return. Be prepared for beamout on Captain Ramson's order.

Kallah Ramson -> I think we found their hiding spot.

Tarisa -> There may be a way we can escape, but we need eyes away from me so I can check.

Kallah Ramson -> ::Scott:: If Lawliets jamming signal looks good to you, let's try it.

Scott Coleridge -> How much time do we have left on the clock?

Alexis McFarland -> ::establishes a telepathic link to the birds in the park for them to swoop low and people and cause a bit of a stir, just low enough to annoy them::

Kallah Ramson -> ::glances:: Actually, I'm surprised we haven't already gotten our countdown threat.

Annisha -> :: Her fiddling and prodding was not getting her anywhere ::

Kallah Ramson -> ::turns to Scott:: which may mean they have less observation on us than we thought.... or they're up to something else.

Lawliet -> ::thinks:: What if they already know what've done?

Scott Coleridge -> I recommend we hold off on trying the jamming signal until we hear from Cayne or we hear from the device again.

Kallah Ramson -> ACTION> In the corridors near Cayne there's the sound of something falling...then footsteps fleeing.

Chirakis -> Team Leader> ::points to his ear, signaling he hears something:::

Tarisa -> ::Opening the hatch, she takes couple small rocks and tests to see if the shield is active.::

Cptn d'Ka -> = ::watching the tactical monitor that is aimed at the station:::

Kallah Ramson -> ACTION> Tarisa's rocks show a small opening in the shield, between a bulkhead and a service pipe

Tarisa -> +CnC+ I believe I have found the gap in the shield.

Cptn d'Ka -> = ::turns, causally stating:: From what I understand, it is a wax or plastic drawing implement used by children.

Jylliene -> ::glances at Ramson::

Tarisa -> I need to climb down the hatch. There is a gap in the shield that I can fit in to help the people in the CnC to get a reference.

Tarisa -> ::Gets into the hatch, slowly climbing down to where the shield was. She then carefully begins to squeeze through.::
