USS Excalibur Sim Log - 08.21.16

MISSION BRIEF: Excalibur has been ordered to return to Camelot, where long-range sensors indicate a large gathering of Starfleet, Klingon and Romulan vessels. Engineering has been working with Arrain Issaha N'Dak on possible counter measures; science and operations are gaming out possible targets for the weapon; while medical is being asked to assist with the ongoing evacuation of civilian and non-critical military personnel, including refugees from the system. We are just outside of the Avalon system when we pick up.

Hunter Matheson -> So what system are we evacuating?

Cptn Swain -> Avalon -- the system Camelot is in.

Cptn Swain -> It has also become a major center for refugees fleeing the ongoing violence in the Dominion.

Rhan K'hal -> :: is back on the bridge at his usual location of wherever he feels like for the day; after spending nearly 4 days knocking heads together with Ithene, is glad of the return to routine - at least as routine as Excal can get ::

Hunter Matheson -> ::cleared for duty, he's back at helm, happy as a clam, buried in the sand, until someone digs it up:::

Cptn Swain -> ::On the bridge::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::on the Avalon colony, observing and assisting coordination:::

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> ::In engineering, finding the Lloann'na engineering team to be incredibly... interesting.::

Hunter Matheson -> ::figures he owes Gaither a few rounds for stepping in:::

William Chocox -> ::paces in Engineering::

Rhan K'hal -> Phew, busier than a beehive after a botanical contention out there.

Cptn Swain -> ::Nods:: Yeah.

Hunter Matheson -> ::absently as he works, to K'hal:: Looks like.

Tandaris Admiran -> So we can't blow it up. We've tried simulating implosions, explosions, obtrusions, extrusions, and a few other things I don't think we invented words for yet.

Tandaris Admiran -> Everything either detonates the device prematurely or works too slowly and can be disarmed.

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> ::Nods:: Ie.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Steps out onto the bridge, a couple PADDs in hand. She walks over to the railing before stepping down towards center chair. Hands one of the PADDs to Swain.:: Medical reports on our two rescuees.

Cptn Corizon -> ::Takes the PADD, looks it over:: Well good to know they're not changelings or replicants.

Hunter Matheson -> ::taps away::: ETA is five minutes, Captain. Request orbital docking?

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::finding it far simpler to assist the recent refugees than the colonists, some of whom (like herself) have built homes here over the last ten years:::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Smirks.:: That would have been interesting, but no. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Cptn Swain -> Well, I for one am happy with ordinary after the last few months.

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::Miranda couldn't help but take a jaunt to engineering to find out if they've come up with a solution. She stepped off the lift and headed for Tandaris.::

Rhan K'hal -> :: dryly :: Something something something small favors.

Tandaris Admiran -> I'm beginning to think we aren't going to be able to stop this thing.

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> ::considers:: There is always a solution to any problem.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Nods.:: Though I doubt that will last long, especially with our record.

William Chocox -> What if we board and take over their ship?

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> I do na know why au Lloann'na have what is it they call it... Kobe Maru test?

Cptn Swain -> ::Snorts::

Tandaris Admiran -> Sometimes the solution is best found by reframing the problem, though.

Hunter Matheson -> ::taking a look at the crowded orbits, he requests orbital docking from Camelot:::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Walks back to the upper level, taking a seat by Rhan, setting her other PADD down on the console.:: Back at it with refugees again...

William Chocox -> And it's Kobayashi Maru.

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> Still no solutions to our issue? ::Looking at William, Tandaris, and Issaha.::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::knowing this colony was among the most permanent places her family had lived -- longer than Aegis, longer than Cardassian

Rhan K'hal -> :: nods :: When you have to move I don't know how many millions of people through 1 relatively tiny hole in space, it's going to take a while.

Hunter Matheson -> ::Swain:: We have a choice for orbits, sir. First class or cargo. Which would you like?

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> ::Lifts a brow at William::

Cptn Swain -> First class.

Cptn Swain -> I believe the Admiral will be coming aboard to meet his son.

Cptn Swain -> ::Considers:: I suppose I should meet him at the airlock with an honor guard.

Hunter Matheson -> First class, aye. ::replies to station OPS and receives the orbit:: Aye, sir.

Rhan K'hal -> I bet if we zoomed in we could see his face plastered to the airlock already.

Maryse Dubois -> Be nice if he came on board with a big box of medals too.

Cptn Swain -> ::Khal:: No crime in loving your son.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Hawthorne:: Not yet.

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> Do we know how the device works? ::Looking specifically to the Romulan.::

Hunter Matheson -> We actually have a docking slip, Captain. Going in now.

Cptn Swain -> ::Stands, straightening his uniform:: Khal, have security round up an honor guard and meet me at the airlock.

Cptn Swain -> And Corizon too.

Rhan K'hal -> :: has a face that clearly shows he thinks that's about the only law abiding Abronvonvich has done recently ::

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> ::nods:: Ie.

Maryse Dubois -> Or at least pay for dinner and some long time blocks in a holosuite.

Rhan K'hal -> Aye, Captain.

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> Though we did make some modifications from au original design.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Smiles at Rhan.:: Have fun.

William Chocox -> Stopping it is a whole other matter.

Hunter Matheson -> ::slow, even entrance to the melee, cuts to 1/4 impulse, then to thrusters:::

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> As there were certain parts we could na fabricate, as well as some... additional ideas the Vorta had about functionality.

Rhan K'hal -> :: contacts security, gives them the who what where when ::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::wondering if ten years can be considered impermanence, and yet wondering if this evacuation will prove to be the end of the Federation presence in the Gamma Quadrant:::

Cptn Swain -> ::heads off the bridge::

Rhan K'hal -> +Corizon+ K'hal to Corizon. Captain Swain would like you to meet him at airlock # to meet the Admiral.

Hunter Matheson -> ::eases Excalibur into her slip with hardly a bump, then engages docking clamps:::

Cptn Corizon -> +Khal+ Understood.

Tandaris Admiran -> What if we didn't try to stop it?

NDak -> Issaha> ::Lifts a brow, Vulcan-esque::

NDak -> Issaha> Ie?

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::conferring with the colony governor, assessing how many ships are involved in the movement off world:::

Hunter Matheson -> ::standard report to OIC:: Docking achieved, Powering down. Umbilicals engaged. Shifting to station command.

Rhan K'hal -> :: Maryse :: The way he phrased that I can get away with just having security and Corizon meet him there. Best if I'm as far away from that pomp... elderly gentleman as possible. Plus someone has to make sure Hunter doesn't crash into the station.

Tandaris Admiran -> Subspace weapons are terrifying because they tear holes in subspace.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Now, now, R'han.

Hunter Matheson -> ::then begins his post-flight procedures:::

Tandaris Admiran -> What if we beat them to it?

Maryse Dubois -> ::Smirks.:: Well at least he didn't ask any of us to join him.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::slipping into the Command chair::

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::She blinked at Tandaris.:: Meaning?

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> I think he felt guilty about the whole mission.

Hunter Matheson -> ::feels a disturbance in the force as she slips into the command chair:::

Maryse Dubois -> Yeah, I know he did. You could see it in his expressions.

Tandaris Admiran -> After they fire the weapon, we create a tear in subspace in the weapon's course.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::Sighs:: Nothing for it though.

Tandaris Admiran -> It detonates … but there is no subspace for it to tear up.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> What's the status outside. ::makes a motion::

Tandaris Admiran -> Our rip, in comparison, will be much smaller and heal faster.

Rhan K'hal -> Chaos minus 0.001.

Maryse Dubois -> Can't really say no when an admiral tells you to do something. Well, I guess you could say no, but it isn't recommended.

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::gathering together her two youngest children, hefting a weighty satchel of personal effects, leaving most of her possessions behind at their home:::

NDak -> Issaha> Intriguing.

Rhan K'hal -> Over 100 Starfleet and/or Federation ships, 26 Klingon vessels, 8 Romulan ships, and ... 342 civilian ships.

NDak -> Issaha> Though you'd have to be... very sure of aur calculations.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Poor Sprint.

Rhan K'hal -> Space is big, but it's not big enough the way some of those civvies are flying.

Tandaris Admiran -> Hey, I'll have a Romulan double-checking them for me, right?

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> I wouldn't want to be riding herd on that mess.

NDak -> Issaha> ::Smirks::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::reports to the colony transporter complex, with its direct line to the starbase itself:::

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::Miranda drew in a deep breath and pressed her fingers to her temple.::

Rhan K'hal -> He's probably offloaded some of it to the Starfleet ships in orbit like he did when we were here before.

NDak -> Ithene> ::Rhan:: Should I volunteer you again?

Tandaris Admiran -> We could modify a torpedo to do the deed.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Snickers.::

Hunter Matheson -> ::running down his checklist:::

Rhan K'hal -> :: makes a rude tail gesture at Ithene; whether she's fluent in Caitian tail language or not he really doesn't care ::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::recognized for her diplomatic credentials, defers moving past the queue of other evacuees:::

Cptn Swain -> ::Arrives at the airlock with Corizon, Lt Abronvonvich, and the security detail::

Hunter Matheson -> ::standard diagnostic to report to engineering shows the standard stuff... overworked, underpaid:::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::snickers::

William Chocox -> That'd be interesting.

Maryse Dubois -> As long as our cargo holds don't get filled with refugees again...

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> It is a... ambitious plan. Is it our only option at this point? ::Trying to figure out how she was going to sell it to the higher ups.::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> My guess is that won't happen.

Tandaris Admiran -> ((We're talking about opening our own, smaller tear in subspace ahead of the weapon and essentially cancelling it out, Chocox.))

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> I would like to think this would be a last resort...

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Miranda:: It's the only one that has a chance of succeeding. Trust me, we will try to come up with something better.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Not going to load us up with refugees and have us fight.

Rhan K'hal -> If it means we get out of this mess and back into the Alpha quadrant I'd be happy enough. But I'm sure we'll have to play bomb squad. Because we haven't done enough already.

Tandaris Admiran -> It's also _technically_ in violation of the Khitomer Convention, obviously.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::Rhan:: Such is the curse of competency.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::war crime—because why not?::

NDak -> Issaha> I somehow doubt anyone will mind... too much.

Maryse Dubois -> ::Smirks.::

Hunter Matheson -> ::slips that report to engineering, like they don't have enough to do:::

William Chocox -> As long as they knew why we did it.

Tandaris Admiran -> We still need to know where they plan to attack.

William Chocox -> But I'm assuming that's classified.

Tandaris Admiran -> If the wormhole does turn out to be a target, that will make this plan much trickier.

Rhan K'hal -> :: harrumphs :: Mreh was right, I should've gone to Ferenginar and been an accountant.

William Chocox -> Ah, yes.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::Chocox:: Yeah, remind me to get around to putting up a big sign outside engineering that just says, "Assume it's classified".

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> It rains there, constantly.

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::moving up in the queue:::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> I don't think you'd like to be a wet cat, constantly.

William Chocox -> Will do.

Rhan K'hal -> Better than the *bleep*storms we deal with.

Maryse Dubois -> Your fur would be so smelly.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::nods:: It would ruin it.

Hunter Matheson -> ::then does the standard check of the station's connections, their functionability, making sure they don't tamper with the goods:::

Rhan K'hal -> :: looks over to Hunter :: Having fun over there, Gunny?

Tandaris Admiran -> I will start working on the calculations. ::Chocox, N'Dak:: Get another team working on the torpedo modifications, then I want the two of you to take another look at the weapon schematics and see if you can't come up with a better plan.

Cptn Swain -> ACTION> Bridge receives a notification from the airlock that the VIP has left.

Hunter Matheson -> ::grin, half turn:: Always, sir.

William Chocox -> Aye sir.

Tandaris Admiran -> If you can come up with something better I will buy you an inordinately expensive bottle of alcohol, assuming it works and we survive.

NDak -> Issaha> ::Nods::

Rhan K'hal -> At least one of us is. :: looks over at the beep :: VIP away. Hooray.

William Chocox -> Oh, it has to work?

NDak -> Issaha> ::considers pointing out that his family owned a prominent brewery of romulan ale, but thinks better of it.::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::her credentials and transport orders reviewed, she steps onto the pad:::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> One of them anyway.

Hunter Matheson -> ::logs on to the aux helm console and begins a thorough check of that, to K'hal:: You should become a pilot, sir. Fly one of these babies. It's sweet. Always makes me happy.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Where's the older N'Dak?

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> I want at least two other solutions to present, Admiran, with statistics on chance of success. I can't take your last resort and jump it to the front of the line. Command will never agree to it unless they see that nothing else will work.

Rhan K'hal -> :: scans for Destorie ::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Swain had me give him access to the long range communications array earlier.

Maryse Dubois -> I've not seen him recently.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> I assume he was reporting to the motherplanet.

Rhan K'hal -> :: Hunter :: I think I'll just live with my small craft license, thank you.

William Chocox -> ::starts working at his console::

Ambassador TSalik -> @ :::feels the familiar wash of the transporter, once a staple of her own career in Starfleet:::

Hunter Matheson -> ::swivels:: Sounds like a plan, sir. Fewer duties. More fun.

Tandaris Admiran -> Understood, Commander. Please let us know if you learn anything else about the target. That would help immensely.

Cptn Swain -> ACTION> Long range sensors detect incoming vessels, Dominion in origin.

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::She nodded and turned to leave, heading for the lift.::

Rhan K'hal -> Eep. :: hops over to the aux tactical :: Dominion ships inbound.

Hunter Matheson -> ::pulls up a 742_ER form for a padded helm console:::

Hunter Matheson -> ::head jerks around::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::straightens in the command chair::

Maryse Dubois -> ::Straightens up.:: That can't be good.

Rhan K'hal -> :: Ithene :: D. N'Dak left with Corizon and company.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> What is Camelot's status. Surely they saw them before we did.

Hunter Matheson -> ::grabs helm and powers up:::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::moves off to another workstation to start running numbers:: I wish I still had my Scorpiad ship memories.

Tandaris Admiran -> The Scorpiads were good with subspace.

Ambassador TSalik -> :::materializes in one of the many transporter rooms on Camelot:::

NDak -> Issaha> So I have heard.

NDak -> Issaha> ::frowns:: I would have liked to have met them.

Hunter Matheson -> ::Ithene:: Move away from the station, ma'am?

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::shakes her head::

Tandaris Admiran -> ::snorts:: Probably not.

Tandaris Admiran -> They're even more arrogant than Romulans.

Tandaris Admiran -> _Almost_ as arrogant as Cardassians.

NDak -> Issaha> ::Lifts a brow::

Rhan K'hal -> Looks like the station is at yellow alert, though communications frequencies are even more jumbled than before.

Hunter Matheson -> ::deep breath, prepares anyway, just in case:::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Update Swain.

Rhan K'hal -> :: nods ::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> If they're not worried yet, we won't be.

Rhan K'hal -> +Swain+ K'hal to Captain Swain. We have Dominion vessels inbound. Camelot is on yellow alert only, no direct communications from the station yet received.

Hunter Matheson -> ::checks orbiting ship status::

Ambassador TSalik -> :::steps off the pad on Deck 27:::

William Chocox -> That's pretty arrogant.

Cptn Swain -> +K'hal+ Understood. I am on my way to a briefing on the station. Keep me apprised. Swain out.

Hunter Matheson -> ::Ithene:: Ships still in orbit, standard spacing.

William Chocox -> ::doesn't look up::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Can we get a better look at the incoming ships?

Ambassador TSalik -> :::nods to one of several known transporter techs, steps down and out into the lower level of the Commercial Concourse:::

NDak -> Issaha> Well, not all Rihannsu are so... arrogant. But it is a reputation we have earned over the years.

Tandaris Admiran -> You heard Hawthorne. She wants at least two other solutions, and none of our approaches have worked yet. I want a better solution too. There must be something we can do.

Rhan K'hal -> Assuming one of those freighters doesn't drop it's big aft in our view. :: zooms in on the incoming ships ::

Maryse Dubois -> The way people not reacting, you would think they were expected.

William Chocox -> I'm working on it sir.

Hunter Matheson -> ::plotting several emergency exits, none of which looks that good:::

Cptn Swain -> ACTION> There are three separate incoming groups of Dominion ships from different vectors. One a grouping of attack ships, another a battlecruisers, and finally one of their super-battle cruisers and some attendant attack fighters.

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::She stepped out onto the bridge a few moments later and headed for her usual chair. Lifts an eyebrow, finding Ithene in the command seat.:: Swain?

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> Apparently on his way to a briefing on the station.

Rhan K'hal -> :: updates Ithene, and the incoming Miranda, on all that stuff from the action ::

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> He met the Admiral and Corizon with the Admiral's son at the airlock.

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::surrenders the big chair to Miranda::

Hunter Matheson -> ::Hawthorne:: Docking area is clear, ma'am. Ready for emergency departure at your command if necessary.

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::Takes a seat.:: If the Captain is clear, take us away from the station and hail the incoming ships.

Hunter Matheson -> Aye, ma'am. Informing the station. Closing docking ports...

Ambassador TSalik -> :::moving through the Concourse, heading to the Federation diplomatic wing:::

Hunter Matheson -> Umbilicles dropped. We have control. Docking clamps released. Engaging thrusters at 1/4

Rhan K'hal -> :: waits for Hunter to get us maneuvered out before sending the hail ::

Hunter Matheson -> Moving out...

Cptn Swain -> Ithene> ::takes her seat::

Rhan K'hal -> Opening hailing frequencies... hailing frequencies open.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::works on calculations, prepares some simulations::

Hunter Matheson -> ::turns carefully, an exit vector already set in:: Going to one half impulse.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::notices they're moving:: Huh.

Hunter Matheson -> Destination, Commander?

NDak -> Issaha> ::lifts a brow::

William Chocox -> I'm going to assume that's not good.

Tandaris Admiran -> +Ops+ Engineering to Bridge. What's our status?

Semil -> Keevan> Federation vessel, this is Keevan of the Vorta Council.

William Chocox -> Since we just got here.

Rhan K'hal -> +Tandy+ We're having a bit of a pow-wow, Commander.

NDak -> Issaha> ::looks over:: Those look like Dominion signals... if I read your sensors correctly?

Hunter Matheson -> ::maneuvering through the orbital docked ships:::

Semil -> Keevan> :: providing a visual, complete with militaristic-looking eyepiece, from the bridge of the lead battleship ::

Hunter Matheson -> ::Hawthorne:: I need a destination, ma'am.

Hunter Matheson -> Approaching the outskirts of orbital docking.

William Chocox -> ::looks over:: Impressive. For a Romulan.

Hunter Matheson -> +Gaither+ Get up here pronto.

Semil -> << ie, the Dominion superbattle cruiser >>

Hunter Matheson -> Gaither> ::sprints from his quarters where he was just about to go to shore:::

NDak -> Issaha> ::Smiles, mirthlessly:: It was difficult to read because the resolution of au sensors is lower than the ios I am used to aboard Galae vessels.

Hunter Matheson -> ::not having received a destination, he takes up a defensive position around Camelot:::

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> Put us between the station and the largest grouping. ::Tilts head at the hail.:: +Keevan+ This is Commander Miranda Hawthorne of the Federation Starship Excalibur. How may we assist?

Tandaris Admiran -> ::suppresses a smile as he watches Chocox get his first experience of Romulan banter::

Hunter Matheson -> Taking defensive position between the station and the largest incoming, aye.

William Chocox -> Well, we figure we'd rather use the power for actual computing rather than resolution.

Semil -> Keevan> :: looking pleasant and obsequious :: +HAWTHORNE+ Assist? I believe we are... expected.

Hunter Matheson -> Gaither> ::bursts into the bridge and takes his position at aux helm:::

Hunter Matheson -> Gaither> What's going on.

Hunter Matheson -> ::Gaither:: Take a look and follow my lead.

Hunter Matheson -> Gaither> You got it. ::logs on:::

Rhan K'hal -> :: gives Gaither a glare, head-nods at the open channel and the Vorta on the viewscreen ::

Ambassador TSalik -> :::enters the diplomatic wing and the associated apartment, setting things down and settling her youngest two in:::

NDak -> Issaha> Au do know how much computing power is required to maintain the stability of our engine cores, ie? Au know, a quantum singularity? ::Shakes his head:: Ie, of course au do. Perhaps when this is over, I can assist au in this resolution issue.

Tandaris Admiran -> ::clears throat:: Uh, sorry to interrupt, but we do have a subspace weapon to counteract.

NDak -> Issaha> For now we should focus on ... Ie... that

Rhan K'hal -> :: tries to get through to Sprint at Camelot, doesn't want to screw this up because we were out of the loop and jumped in where we weren't needed ::

William Chocox -> ::rolls his eyes:: Aye sir.

Semil -> Keevan> :: barely suppressing a smile at the thought of "assisting" the Federation colony right out of the Gamma Quadrant ::

Hunter Matheson -> ::totally focused on what he is doing at helm::

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> ::Slight eyebrow lift at the Vorta.:: +Keevan+ We were not informed, but if you have come to aid us in repelling the rogue faction, you are most welcome.

Hunter Matheson -> :;goes to hand signals and puts the ship in position for defense:::

Cptn Swain -> (( Two Minute Warning ))

Semil -> Keevan> +HAWTHORNE+ Yes, aid. I expect you'll have some approach vectors for us. And, as a measure of good faith, we understand if there's a desire to keep the bulk of our forces outside your system's perimeter.

Cptn Corizon -> Issaha> ::Chocox:: We should consider whether io of au photon or quantum torpedoes is best suited.

Ambassador TSalik -> :::not entirely satisfied, but settled, she moves out of the diplomatic wing:::

Semil -> Keevan> :: waves officiously to a nearby Jem'Hadar offscreen ::

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> +Keevan+ Of course. What do you know of the situation thus far?

Semil -> Semil> :: glancing to the Jem'Hadar offscreen, warily :: +HAWTHORNE+ It would be best to discuss the particulars in person.

NDak -> #::Enters the Romulan wing with a flourish, moving past the guards and into the inner workings of the diplomatic wing, his attaché hurrying to keep up::

NDak -> # ::cape fluttering behind::

Rhan K'hal -> :: isn't happy that we charged out here without consulting the station first; since his polite efforts to get Sprint's attention at Camelot have thus far failed due to the civilian comm traffic, sends a more powerful pulse with a priority tag on it ::

Ambassador TSalik -> ::: observes the Romulan entourage passing through the central hub of the Diplomatic Complex:::

NDak -> Sprint> ::sends a message, noting that while they hadn't planned a welcome wagon, Excalibur was in the clear, and that command wouldn't mind if they kept them busy for a few. That they had arrived ... early.::

Rhan K'hal -> :: nods, forwards the message to Miranda ::

Semil -> Keevan> :: not entirely eager to work face to face with humans again ::

Rhan K'hal -> :: sends an ack back to Sprint ::

Semil -> Keevan> :: having been a prisoner of theirs during the war ::

NDak -> (( But at least there aren't any Ferengi around this time, irght?))

Semil -> Keevan> :: an unconscious shudder at the unbidden memory of the Ferengi ::

Cptn Swain -> ...and...

Ambassador TSalik -> :::noting that military authors appears to be prevailing in the evacuation activities, station appears to be on yellow alert:::

Cdr Miranda Hawthorne -> +Keevan+ Yes, and I'm certain those discussions will happen on the station. ::She glanced to her screen to catch the incoming message and bit back a sigh.:: We will send word to them and they'll contact you as soon as a meeting can be convened.

Semil -> Keevan> :: glad to have been the first contacted, not eager to try and compete in the wake of communications from Weyoun or Taenix ::
