The Manticore has just witnessed the Haiweh vessel being

absorbed by the Yaku's null energy field. That field grew very

large and then shrank to a small area, while seeming to break down.

It "burst open," generating a huge gravitational field that the

Manticore was unable to escape. We just just crossed the event

horizon.
