The Manticore his picked up a stowaway, an alien who can

"talk" into most of our minds (without sound) while cancelling

out all forms of manufactured energy. It has asked for our

help in finding a remote, pre-industrial place to live, but it turns

out to be a member of the Yaku, thought to have been wiped out

a year before the creation of the Federation. The Yaku destroyed

the entire Haiweh race and was then destroyed by the Terrans

and Romulans. As we grapple with this dilemma, a huge ship

destroys our warp engines and forward weapons launchers

without even touching our shields. It turns out to be the last of

the Haiweh and we are caught in the middle. Can we really use

the last Yaku as a weapon to neutralize the last of the Haiweh?
