MISSION BRIEFING RES TALON 51604.28 - Season 21

The Talon command team, for our part of this mission have made our way infiltrating into the Galae Retor, in hopes of using a 'back way' into Galae Headquarters and try to help quell the coup that has taken over our homeworld.

Most of the command team have made it to the hidden passageway, while t'Ksa has decided to stay with the advance assault teams to deal with their wounded. t'Mahren had went to create a distraction and later join up with t'Ksa. Above us, we've heard the sounds of ships assaulting the surface with weapons fire, but from our vantage, do not know if it is ours, or that of the coup.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::watches as after moving the correct lever sequence within the hidden drawer in the cabinet, as Koga moves the heavy cabinet to the side, allowing it to swing open revealing a dimly lit passageway::

Koga S'Bien -> ::looks inside::

M_K_tKsa -> ::trying to judge how well things are going based upon the waves of patients in and out of the medical facility::

KhreRiovtRex -> Quickly...everyone in here, we'll pull it shut behind us, and reactivate the lock, so if anyone should happen upon this storeroom, they'll have no idea that the cabinet if other than an old filing cabinet, and will na be able to trace us.:: Looks up, noting the device to block scanning:: Good, all looks in order

tAehjae -> :: quickly moves in to the dimly lit opening::

Koga S'Bien -> ::moves in and helps with replacing the cabinet if necessary::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Behind the group ::

tAehjae -> :: moves forward to wait for the others::

KhreRiovtRex -> It will lead us to a small custodial room about 3 floors below the main quarters that some of the rank officers used when they were needed to stay overnight. There is a hidden dumbwaiter, which we can use to access the upper corridor. We just have to hope, that nobody will be in that area at this time.

tAehjae -> :: nods::

Koga S'Bien -> ::looks at his chrono:: I hope not.

KhreRiovtRex -> There should na be anyone. It was purposely put in an unfinished room off or Var'lon's quarters. Even if someone has taken his, it is doubtful anyone would even bother with a half built room.

KhreRiovtRex -> Let's go....

Koga S'Bien -> ::nods::

tAehjae -> :: moves out::

KhreRiovtRex -> And pray the elements are on our side......or this may be a very short trip

 

ACTION: Again the ground trembles from heavy weapons fire......

 

tAehjae -> .:: carefully makes her way down the corridor weapon at the ready::

KhreRiovtRex -> a bit of dust falls from the ceiling around them

Koga S'Bien -> ::Looks up:: Hmm.

tAehjae -> I hope this place does na fall down on us.

KhreRiovtRex -> I hope those are our ships........na telling until we're back topside.... If things went as planned, what you all did to that communications array, should have allowed our hidden fleet to have returned and get a major jump on them

Laehval tTemarr ->: Putting her hand on the wall as she walks, she followed the corridor, heading inward.

M_K_tKsa -> ::catches the equipment stand before it tumbles to the ground::

KhreRiovtRex -> Here.....this is the backside of another cabinet set in the custodial area.. :: reachs it and carefully activates the lever combination with a well-practiced hand::

Koga S'Bien -> Yeah, let's hope, eh?

KhreRiovtRex -> With the scrutiny that we had, it was not preferred to be seen much here when I was on leave, so this is how I was able to visit... :: grinned a siuren remembering::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: hears the ground tremble again::

KhreRiovtRex -> I hope t’Ksa is fairing ok...I do wish she would have come with us.....

KhreRiovtRex -> Ie we left her plenty of dheno, but I'd prefer our own staff instead to care for our own

KhreRiovtRex -> Ok....weapons at the ready.....just in case this room has been compromised, though I don't know why, it would look like nothing other than a laundry/disposal chute.....

KhreRiovtRex -> :: leans into the cabinet wall and presses it forward opening into another dimly lit space, a few scattered carts with folded linens, and a few with linens needing to be tended.::

 

@ ACTION:: Up with the medical team, a few of the dheno are concerned about the increasing weapons fire on the grounds around the Retor and head to discuss with t'Ksa if she wishes to remain here, or try to move operations to one of the ships in the attack fleet

KhreRiovtRex -> (trying to give you an option...some of those Tal Shiar boys, aren’t' as stalwart as au!!)

tAehjae -> :: moves into the area behind t’Vatrix::

KhreRiovtRex -> @TS Trooper> :: Meanak, this area is well set up, but my superiors wanted to ask again, if au would prefer to be transferred to io of the ships, to avoid stray weapons fire here.....we can na afford to lose

KhreRiovtRex -> All clear.....ok...we need to move, they'll be locking things down and looking to their outer entrances, they will na be looking behind them, which is where we hope to take a lot of this on......

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Files in, stifling a sneeze at all the dust.::

KhreRiovtRex -> My plan, is to take the dumbwaiter up, and try to take out as many of them as we can. ....Anyone we encounter in Galae Command, we know will be a traitor...so au may be free with au weapons ..... Again, this may be a io way trip.

Koga S'Bien -> All right. ::moves into position::

M_K_tKsa -> We've already had this discussion. With the volumn of patients and their needs, we can na move the med unit. We are well defended and stray weapons fire is part of the hazards of this job.

Koga S'Bien -> ::nods:: Sure thing. ::looks around then enters with Laeh in the rear::

 

@ :: ACTION:: Suddenly the air shimmered around t'Ksa, and 2 of her dishern from the Talon appear next to her:: Rekkhai....can we be of assistance? We picked up au t’Liss signal at this location and the resistance team reported au had a medical triage here....

 

KhreRiovtRex -> :: Nods to Leah and activates the small lift to take them up::

KhreRiovtRex -> Elements, this feels like it's taking forever to get there...... :: knows it's no longer than ever before...but seems it::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Squeezes in with the others::

 

ACTION:: The lift stops and they step off, in a somewhat cluttered and unfinished room, stacks of construction materials spread around the room

 

KhreRiovtRex -> Send it back down

KhreRiovtRex -> :: turns to t’A:: Au should be able to scan normally here......are au picking up any on in the adjoining rooms? I'm not on mine:: looks at the small screen

Lerak trPexil -> :: Gets out of the lift and examines the room ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Presses a button sending the lift back down::

M_K_tKsa -> ::jerks her head towards the stations nearby:: Over there.

Koga S'Bien -> ::looks around the room, scanning the area::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Climbs into the elevator once it returns empty and heads up to join the others.::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Watches the elevator ::

KhreRiovtRex -> Once Leah is up, we'll be ready to move.. Clear this area first.....this is the command level...I doubt any will be resting or even in their offices with the attack on, they will be in the main control room, we can get there easily from here, as only the head brass would have been cleared for this level....

KhreRiovtRex -> And then... we put an end to this as much as we can....

Koga S'Bien -> ::joins up with Laeh to take up the rear once she arrives back in the lift::

KhreRiovtRex -> Let's go....:: exits into the corridor and starts checking room by room for any occupants....

KhreRiovtRex -> Kaleh if possible, so na to alert them too soon .......

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga.. and Leah......take that corridor to the left, t'A, Pexil and I will take this io....

KhreRiovtRex -> let' s go.... our objective is the main command center...it's the large center room you'll see on your ISD...we'll come from 2 sides....and squeeze them between us.....

Koga S'Bien -> Understood.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Part of the cleanout crew now, she nodded and started toward command.::

Koga S'Bien -> ::follows closely to the lift corridor::

KhreRiovtRex -> (wow, thought I got taken out as I rounded the corner!)

Lerak trPexil -> I don't know the level of resistance we will encounter..

KhreRiovtRex -> @ the Talon meanak let Talon know that they've located t'Ksa, and io of our own dheno teams beam to her location to provide her a more secure location.

KhreRiovtRex -> I'm hoping they are distracted Lerek.....and I intend to take out as many as I can.....but I want tr'Merk taken alive is possible.....I know he has a hand in this, and I need information from him....before I kill him.....

Lerak trPexil -> Right.

KhreRiovtRex -> but if we have to...we will, there are others that can also answer...

KhreRiovtRex -> Ok, so next week we will try to take over Galae command by taking control of their leaders, and hopefully force their subordinates to surrender...

KhreRiovtRex -> However........ Evidently the Talon has returned and have at least located t'Ksa

KhreRiovtRex -> Hopefully we'll get reinforcements of our own!
