RES Talon Mission Briefing 51604.14 - Season 21

 

RES Talon Mission Briefing 51604.14 - Season 21 Our team has infiltrated the Galae Retor, with the objective of first taking this facility, and while the enemy may focus on ousting us, or dealing with our forces taking other locations, we have a plan. Only known to a few higher ranking officers, is that there is a covert access way between the Retor and the Galae Command facilities. We plan to access this route, and make a fast, critical strike upon those that have attacked and conspired to kill many of our families and fellow officers. Leah and Lerak have been bypassing the security systems for us, while Koga, t'A and t’Vatrix have been clearing other obstacles in the way, as are several of our other teams. t'Ksa has set up a triage area for caring for the injured. t'Mahren and some others have went to cause a distraction in the server room.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: takes another look at t'A:: On second thought.....you're not that bad off, just a bit bloody....pick up your weapon and fall in.

Koga S'Bien -> ::checks his weapon again::

Lerak trPexil -> :: As he works, he is making sure his changes to security can't be undone ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Looks ahead checks area:: Ie, coast is clear.

tAehjae -> :: picks up her weapon and stands up a bit wobbling :: Ie I can stand..

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval routed the system controls to her ISD.:: tr'Pexil, shunt whatever controls au have to your ISD. We need to move. We can work on the way.

tAehjae -> :: rubs her head, wipes the blood from around her eyes, and gets her bearings::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Nods to Laeh, gathers his other tools :: I'm ready

KhreRiovtRex -> :: looks back at Koga:: Menkha, keep it that way, I have to make sure she can do this. We can't afford to send off the 2 guards watching the corridor behind t'Temarr and Pexil to look after her..

Koga S'Bien -> ::Nods:: Understood.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: turns back to t'Aehjae:: Stand on one foot...

KhreRiovtRex -> Then switch to the other....

Lerak trPexil -> :: Is next to Laeh ::

tAehjae -> :: gives t’Vatrix an odd look:: Rekkhai?

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Nods to their escort and quickly heads out, checking the sensors as she went. All along the way, they came across bodies that the forward team had dispatched.::

 

KhreRiovtRex -> Au are either cognizant enough to understand an order, or not.

KhreRiovtRex -> Fvaht....I needed au too.....

tAehjae -> Ie ::lifts her right foot off the ground::

KhreRiovtRex -> Stay here then...or make au way back to t'Ksa if au are unable to understand simple commands

Koga S'Bien -> ::peeks his head out looking at the corridor::

KhreRiovtRex -> Fine....follow behind me...but do "not' shoot me because au head is addled

tAehjae -> ::wobbles slightly the regains control and switches feet::

tAehjae -> Ie rekkhai

KhreRiovtRex -> and if you see 3 enemy...shoot the middle one

tAehjae -> :: regains her balance:;

KhreRiovtRex -> :: turns and jogs back up to Koga:: Are we ready to move...we need to secure this area so that Leah and Pexil can access this area safely

KhreRiovtRex -> Let's move....

Koga S'Bien -> ::Nods:: Ready to move out.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She paused at the next junction, looking down at her screen.::

tAehjae -> :: moves out following::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: points ahead:: That corner up there at the end of the corridor...is the stairwell we want to go down two levels

tAehjae -> :: nods and moves forward::

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga....let's go....

 

Lerak trPexil -> :: With Laeh ::

Laehval tTemarr -> The path is fairly clear. ::She tapped another of the door controls to cut off an approaching squad of troops.:: Most of the enemy are trapped and can be dealt with one room at a time. ::She glanced up to Pexil.::

Koga S'Bien -> All right ::heads out to the corridor, watching the area carefully::

tAehjae -> :: makes her way towards the stairway::

KhreRiovtRex -> I'm thinking that they must be low staffed here, we've not hit much resistance....that or those that didn't head to the courtyard, have been cut off by Laeh's workings.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: reaches the end of the corridor, and motions for Koga to be prepared:: Crouches down low and quickly aims around the corner, finding the stairwell empty

Lerak trPexil -> So far so good.

Koga S'Bien -> ::slowly moves down the corridor to the stairwell::

KhreRiovtRex -> +Laeh+ On your screens, can au see if au can access the Retor Armory section? Can au encode it so only we can access it if needed?

tAehjae -> :: watching for anyoi in the area::

tAehjae -> So far we are clear.:: back to Koga::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: motions for them to head down::

EvietMahren -> ::doing what she does best on her way toward the server room, attempting to draw attention away from the other team::

Laehval tTemarr -> +t'Rex+ Ie, we have control of the locking mechanisms. For now. Give me a moment and I can encrypt it to your authorization. ::She looked up to Lerak.:: Do au have it on your screen?

KhreRiovtRex -> +Laeh+ Encode to both of us, I want au to be able to access if something goes poorly down here

KhreRiovtRex -> but so far, we've cleared and haven hit no further resistance. Then again, they have na reason to suspect we'd be heading towards an old storage area

 

Lerak trPexil -> I found it. :: transfers it to her ISD ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::looks down the stairwell::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded her appreciation and changed the locking mechanism.:: Alright, let's go. We need to catch up with them if we can. Our security protocols while we're mobile are temporary at best. We need to get to a secure terminal.

tAehjae -> :: looks down the stairwell::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Nods :: Let's go.

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga, t'A....hopefully they've managed to disable the sensors that would tell them were our weapons fire is.::

Koga S'Bien -> I hope so too.

 

ACTION: Koga, tA and t'Vatrix all make it to the next level of the stairwell::

 

ACTION> An alert goes off on Pexil's ISD that the controls they'd placed on door security were being overridden.

 

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga.....t'A....let's move that storage cabinet in front of the door, and block their access. It won't stop someone for long, but it may be long enough

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looks down :: We are losing the override...

Koga S'Bien -> OKay.. ::helps with moving the cabinet::

tAehjae -> IE : does as told ::

tAehjae -> I hope its enough

Koga S'Bien -> Every second counts.

KhreRiovtRex -> Alright...that's all we can do at this point...., let's go....

Koga S'Bien -> ::moves the cabinet into place::

Lerak trPexil -> I can only slow down their efforts.

Laehval tTemarr -> See what au can do to delay it. Put it in a loop. Feed it useless protocols. Whatever au can do. Come on! ::Grabs his arm and pulls him along, letting go once she broke into a run. The way forward was clear. Their guards scouted ahead, but also covered them behind. All they had to do was reach the storage room.::

Lerak trPexil -> :: He allows her to pull him as he works commands into the system. Some doors he can slow down their override, some he can't. ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::stops and listens:: Doesn't sound very far off.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Trips a bit over a body, but Laehval picks him up. He did not lose sight of the ISD, continuing his efforts :":

KhreRiovtRex -> We want to head down to the right, but I am not going to leave someone behind us, that t'Temarr and tr'Pexil may run into...... We must take care of this first

EvietMahren -> ::having taken out another target, drags the remains into the corridor, making sure to leave an obvious trail::

EvietMahren -> ::finally making her way into the server room, pauses, admiring the mess she's made along the way::

Koga S'Bien -> ::takes it off:: Okay.\

 

EvietMahren -> ::gives a slight smirk and then heads into the cooler, darker room, illuminated by the varying colors of control panels and isolinear chips::

KhreRiovtRex -> ::hands it to t'A quickly:: Hold this.....

Lerak trPexil -> I think I have done as much as I can..

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga....au walk in there in uniform, it's going to tip someone off who we are....but that surely sounds like someone working out.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Pauses at another doorway, checking her sensors.:: Okay, we're clear. ::She tapped something on her ISD and then quickly moved forward, following t'Rexan's route down to the lower level.::

Koga S'Bien -> Very well.. I understand. ::does as ordered and heads in there in uniform::

KhreRiovtRex -> If au walk in there shirtless, and pick up some weights, au can get close to them......:: reaches over to his belt and slides his Kaleh towards the back of his belt:: Ane when au get close....

KhreRiovtRex -> (no..you just took your uniform shirt off: facepalm)

Koga S'Bien -> ::in uniform minus the uniform shirt lol sorry::

KhreRiovtRex -> (maybe we should send t'A in shirtless to distract them instead?)

Koga S'Bien -> (That also could work as well..)

EvietMahren -> ::taking out her small, personal ISD, taps a few commands, which give her access to the server in a directory that would seem to be harmless to leave open::

KhreRiovtRex -> (t'A is officially asleep)

Koga S'Bien -> ::enters the room shirtless, displaying his chiseled bod. Picks up a set of weights and begins to work out near the other occupants of the room::

 

ACTION: Two men working out in the room, look over at Koga, nod and keep lifting. A pair of Othan jackets are tossed on a rack by the doorway

 

Koga S'Bien -> ::regards the jackets and continues his routine, returning the nod, moving closer into the room::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: motions for t'A to move past the room, letting them get a glimpse of her::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: follows, with Kaleh ready if they come out to check on t'A::

 

ACTION> The hacker hacking Pexil's hack hacks through his hack and doors they'd secure all open.

 

Koga S'Bien -> ::Sets down the weights and moves to the machines where the two men were as if he was going to work on them::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: notes on the wall that the alarm klaxon box is hanging open with a burnt out panel dangling from it, hence why these guards have not heard the alarms that had been going off::

 

ACTION: : As t’A moves past the room, the men are distracted by the Galae uniform and turn towards the door to stop and question her

 

Koga S'Bien -> ::moves past the two men to get to the machine as they turn their backs to him::

KhreRiovtRex -> : sees one stick his head out, and throws kaleh, hitting the first man in the neck::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: hopes Koga can get the 2nd as cleanly::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Takes out his kaleh and stabs the other man in the chest::

Koga S'Bien -> ::places a hand over his mouth so he doesn't scream or anything::

KhreRiovtRex -> Good work, both of au...grab their jackets too, they may come in handy. Koga, put your own back on...

Koga S'Bien -> ::

Lerak trPexil -> Laeh! All doors are opening

Koga S'Bien -> ::grabs his shirt as well as the jackets on the rack and tosses one to t'A before putting his shirt back on::

KhreRiovtRex -> Quickly...down to the storage area. We’ll wait there for the others before we open it. In case there is trouble, I don’t' want to give up the fact that it exists for no reason..

Koga S'Bien -> ::paused::

KhreRiovtRex -> Well done all! Our 3 hackers are doing great, getting us cleanly through and distracting them in all the right places! And Koga and the now awake TA...of course she wakes up when Koga loses his shirt!
