RES Talon Mission Briefing 516602.25 - Season 21

 

The engineering team has completed installing their little surprise to the main communications hub, and are departing the facility, and heading back to the rendezvous site. Meanwhile, t'Rexan and t'A had to abandon their failing ship and are now heading for cover and trying to make their way back to the fall back extraction site.

KhreRiovtRex -> @ ::turns to snap at t'A, then holds her tongue, waiting before she answered:: Ie...I'm fine...... :: turns and starts stalking off up the rise again.....

 

ACTION: As Koga asked, they come back out to the point where he had left his ship, and the 2nd ship that had accompanied them, was just re-landing, having went to help in the overhead fight::

KhreRiovtRex -> @:: turns and looks at her: If we were in a ship, na, na much..otherwise, we have hours to go, unless one of the others picked up our signal that we had to put down...

Koga S'Bien -> ::looks at the ship and opens the hatch:: All aboard..

KhreRiovtRex -> @ However, those ships have orders to get the teams back to the command center. Those engineers are too valuable to waste on groundside rescue missions. We'll just have to try to na get caught and wait for io of the pickup teams to find us...

KhreRiovtRex -> @ Hopefully, io will be able to get back to this position without too much trouble

KhreRiovtRex -> @ How many enemy ships were au able to note on tactical sensors, that were destroyed or disabled?

Koga S'Bien -> ::Logs onto the cockpit terminals and begins pre-flights:: What's the plan now? Do au know?

 

Action: The second ship opens the hatch and men come out to help the injured aboard, the maenak coming with them for the ride back to the command location they had been dispatched from::

 

Lerak trPexil -> :: in the RAC, or whatever they gave us :: Perhaps they did na think we'd get this far... :: inputs :: These coordinates...

Koga S'Bien -> Right.. ::waits for anyone boarding their shuttle to come aboard, if there are any coming aboard::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval took a seat in the same RAC as Koga and Lerak.:: The plan is we go find the Enarrain and help them out of their firefight. Then attack the capital.

Koga S'Bien -> ::Nods:: Sounds good to me. Preflight checks complete. We're ready to take off.

Koga S'Bien -> ::after everyone is aboard, he closes the hatch and takes off towards the Khre'Riov's position::

KhreRiovtRex -> @ Meanka, that's a start at least. I know I saw one of the big ships go down, and think I saw several of our others trying to swarm the other. At least until that 2nd wave showed up

KhreRiovtRex -> @ I just wish I knew if our incursion teams were able to complete the installation and were able to get out and meet up with the rest of the attack fleet

KhreRiovtRex -> @ +Laehval+ t'A and I are at:: pulls out a small ISD:: Coordinates 344 by 281 northwest of your incursion point. We finally had to abandon our failing ship, and are on the ground, working our way back up towards the fall back extraction point.

Laehval tTemarr -> +t'Rex+ Ie, and are headed your way to intercept. All ships off the ground and engaging whatever forces are left.

ACTION> From somewhere behind, a giant explosion rocks the power station and sends a hundreds of feet into the air.

 

KhreRiovtRex -> @ +Laehval+ If you meet resistance, take au ship out, au team is too valuable to waste on a ground pickup. However, I will na refuse the ride if au can get to us without endangering auselves

KhreRiovtRex -> @ They will na be able to land on this hillside, we will have to get up to the top of this next rise before there is any semblance of an area where they could pick us up. Unless their ship was one of the few that had a hteij in it. The ships we had, were na the best unfortunately....

 

ACTION: Evidently at least io of the ships had, as t'Ksa was beamed back aboard t'Temarr's ship, as the other headed back with the wounded, as they were na able to participate in this next fight

Lerak trPexil -> A lot of activity, but it is hard to discern/

Koga S'Bien -> Nothing that I can see, but with all these hills and mountainous terrain it's hard to tell for certain.

KhreRiovtRex -> @ Action: As the hillside becomes steeper, the footing becomes more loose dirt and stone, making it more difficult to ascend quickly, however a better grass covered rise is seen not much furthet above.

KhreRiovtRex -> @+tTemarr+ I know it's useless to try to talk au out of it. Is it safe enough to drop a smoke marker to indicate our location for pick up?

KhreRiovtRex -> @ ::looks up and sees a few ships with a paint pattern noting their combined forces heading off to join the fight in the distance::

KhreRiovtRex -> @ t'A....that emergency pack.............::tosses it to her:: take out the smoke dye pack, and toss it up the ridge above....then we make our way up

 

tAehjae -> @ ::Ie rekkhai :: catches the pack::tAehjae -> @ :: opens it up and pulls out the smoke Dye pack, pulls the release then gives it a toss towards the top of the ridge above::

Laehval tTemarr -> S'Bien, when au see the smoke, land as close as au can. tr'Pexil, ready your weapon. We'll provide escort if needed.

tAehjae -> @:: closes the pack and puts it on her back then starts to continue making her way up the hill behind t’Vatrix::

Koga S'Bien -> I see it. ::sees the smoke plume and heads in for a landing::

tAehjae -> @:: hears the approaching ship:: I hope they are our guys::

KhreRiovtRex -> @:: hears a ship in the distance as she is making her way up:: I think our ride is here....Now let's hope its the team we were hoping for, and not the other side...

KhreRiovtRex -> Alright ....well, on the plus side, the dice were good to you all night, no enemy fighters even made it back to attack you.....this week at least...

KhreRiovtRex -> now I just hope that is you landing to get us!. Then, if so, we'll join up with the other ships and make our incursion into the capital and try to take back our homeworld
