"Anomaly" Thoughts

Hey there,

 

As everyone's seen it, and starting up what I did last season, thoughts on Enterprise's second episode of the season titled Anomaly.

 

Oh, BTW, as of tomorrow Paramount/UPN are "officially" renaming the show "Star Trek: Enterprise". Go figure....

It was OK, kinda liked Archer almost killing off that guy, but yeah.. I wonder why the marines , security and OPS (or it's equivilent) didn't detct and prevent them from transporting onboard. Oh well. :|

I'd vote for the top one, and the bottom three.  Any thing that involes security and marines both messing up is funny (thats why I play in sci department) and anything that involes T'pol in Pon Far is just plain cool.

Well, I thought the "energy" of the episode was drastically improved over the season premiere. That episode just didn't seem like it belonged as the first show. I am interested to see this week if they redo the title/opening credits to reflect the show's new name. Still don't understand why they didn't call it Star Trek from the beginning.

Maybe they'll stick with the same credits but will superimpose STAR TREK in big, white, plain text on top of ENTERPRISE for the title sequence to save money.

and i have to admit something...i've always liked the opening sequence! Although personally i think the only cool characters are Reed phlox and on the odd occasion Tucker

I like the opening sequence myself. I think it's actually kind of interesting. I mean, you can see a solid progression of technology from modern day to 22nd century. It's a neat setup in my view.

 

Now, as for the music, I think it's alright but I would rather it be something instrumental. And, as you can guess, I think it should say "Star Trek: Enterprise." Let's call a spade a spade. :D

On subject... I'm a character person, so watching two of the people on the series who can act (imo) pitted against (for?) each other was a thumbs up in my book.  Love Phlox, love character tension...

 

And I like the theme song.  :D

About the only thing I like in the series is the tacky inappropriate use of skin.  It gives it SOME kind of character, albeit a tacky one.  :D
