RES TALON MISSOIN BRIEFING 51602.04 - SEASON 21

 

Our attack group's target has been reached and our engineering teams have been working on applying their programs into the array. Meanwhile, the first of the Othan and coup Tal Shiar, have reached our locations and several ships have broken off to delay or destroy them, to give Laehval and Pexil time to do their work.

Others in those engineering ships, are able to use their targeting weapons and assist with the defense....

KhreRiovtRex -> (we have invited our guest to step in tonight, since I only have a Cardboard tA which isn't really good at the guns...so Chaz, will be playing the part of one of the nameless Tal Shiar (rebel that is on our side) in my ship)

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looking out the window of their shuttle.. :: There, between those taller structures. Can au set us down between them?

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval wasn't normally one to use a weapon -- except for the occasional dagger -- but she had a disruptor pistol in hand and her blade at her belt, taking no chances with her security. Palming open the door, she stepped out and gestured to the others, heading for the communication station at a quick pace.::

EvietMahren -> ::looking as though she's going somewhere with purpose, and looking for all the world as though she belongs where she is, knowing this will help avoid detection::

M_K_tKsa -> ::playing follow the leader, knows at least that the two women she was with had good heads on their shoulders and should keep the trouble down to a minimum, as long as t'Ksa didn't mess it up for them::

Chaz -> ::runs pm on targeting computer::

Koga S'Bien -> Right there ::points:: Sure thing. No traffic now, so I'll take us down.

Koga S'Bien -> ::checks to see if the landing spot is clear of traffic in air or in ground and is out of range of local radar::

KhreRiovtRex -> +t'Kellan+ If you have any more support that you can send this way, do it soon, we need to give them a bit more time to make the arrangements....

Lerak trPexil -> :: Getting itchy to get on the ground and get this over with ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::once safe, he begins their descent to the landing spot::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: takes other weapons console to assist the Tal Shiar officer with picking up targets::

 

ACTION> Laehval's transport ship lifts off once the trio was out and speeds to t'Rexan's location to join the fight.

 

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns and see's the groggy t'Aehjae coming around::

M_K_tKsa -> I hope we can find another way off if our transport ship doesn't return. ::quicks an eyebrow::

Chaz -> ::begins engaging targets that would cause the least amount of casualties::

EvietMahren -> I believe there is a secondary extraction point, if necessary.

t'Kellan> +t'Vatrix+ We can send perhaps 2 au way, but team 6 and team 7 have been overwhelmed, we will na be able to retake Tal Shair Headquarters just yet....status of the array?

taehjae -> :: moans a bit then slowly tries to sit up::

Koga S'Bien -> ::touches down for a safe landing, and opens the exit hatch:: All right, let's do this.7

KhreRiovtRex -> :stands and walks over to Chaz:: Keep at it......watch your flank, that big gun ship is coming around....

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Glances up briefly, noting that Lerak's ship was coming in, but continues on her path. Her mission wasn't to wait on him -- it was to reach the objective and get their virus planted.::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Gets out and sends a signal to Laehval that they have landed ::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: moves over to check t'A and looks at her head:: Well, you're breathing....there is that (you got lucky on a roll....too bad you lost that get out of peril card last week tA...you get peril rolls...all night!)

Chaz -> Acknowledged :: continues to engage::

ACTION: one of the enemy scout ships has noticed t'Temarr's ship and turns to engage it

 

Chaz -> ::engages multiple targets::

ACTION> Almost as soon as the teams near the communication station, the array's security forces boil out of main building and take up firing positions. While they didn't have a full complement stationed there, the 5 Talonites were facing about a dozen armed men.

 

Koga S'Bien -> Ie ie. Don't au just hate it when that happens?

 

ACTION: t'Vatrix's shp take a hard jolt as a heavy salvo hits it, but the shields took most of the shot

Koga S'Bien -> # ::trying to get his bearings::

Chaz -> ::shaken hard in seat, regains composure, and furiously reengages::

taehjae -> ::lifts her arms to protect herself and also tries to break t’Vatrix fall somewhat:: WHOOA!

KhreRiovtRex -> Quit laying around t'A...I need you on that other weapons port, take rear weapons

 

ACTION:: The ship takes a 2nd hard hit.....

 

M_K_tKsa -> Oh look...the welcoming committee.

taehjae -> Ie :::starts to get to her feet but is tossed to the ground again::

 

ACTION: Warning klaxon sounds...

 

KhreRiovtRex -> Pilot...get the ship under control...we have to keep them off their back a bit longer....

Chaz -> These lowly dogs are beginning to annoy me!

taehjae -> :: starts again to get up and this time makes it to the weapons port::

Laehval tTemarr -> # ::Grunts at the sight of their one obstacle and takes cover behind the main gate, leaning around it to fire, though only scorched stone.:: We don't have time for this!

 

ACTION: One of the large gunships has turned towards them...

 

Laehval tTemarr until their reinforcements arrive.

KhreRiovtRex -> Chaz.....t'A......we're going to head right at it, then dive under, hit her hard in her belly......

Chaz -> ::turns fire towards turning gunship::

taehjae -> :: get I the seat and starts trying to target

Chaz -> ::nods in agreement::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: moves over to check the tactical board and to check on the other team's progress::

EvietMahren -> ::literally growls as she returns fire to the @#$^ who didn't even bother to check credentials before they started firing::

Koga S'Bien -> # ::takes cover and fires back at the guards::

taehjae -> :: adjusts her weapons to do as ordered::

ACTION: The ship dives under, hitting the big ship several times in the belly, but her shielding holds for the moment..

 

EvietMahren -> % Gaius tr'Argelian> ::leading a team of Romulans, dressed as guards, make their way in behind the Talon team::

KhreRiovtRex -> Fvaht.....we're going to have to hit her harder, or at least a few more times...

ACTION> One of the scout ships come in from underneath the other side of the big gunner and hits t'Vatrix's ship again, rocking it hard...

 

EvietMahren -> # ::a shot sizzles just above her head, and she cuts Gaius a glare::

M_K_tKsa -> #::checks the charge on her disruptor, then winces as a few shots get too close and coming from somewhere she didn't anticipate:: What the...

EvietMahren -> % tr'Argelian> ::lips twitch as he then moves his team across the street and toward the array guards::

taehjae -> :: yells:: Where did that io come from!?! :: rocks with the ship::

Chaz -> ::continues with suppressing fire at ships until the next run::

KhreRiovtRex -> t'A...get eyes on those ships..there were 4, but I think they've a 1-2 more follow up

taehjae -> ::takes a shot at that last vessel going for the flank::

 

#ACTION> The array guards grin as their joined by more of their kind and continue to fire on the Talon team.

Laehval tTemarr -> # ::Looks to Koga and Lerak, saying quietly.:: The new guards are ours... take shots at them, but make certain none of them are close.

M_K_tKsa -> #For them? ::both brows raise:: We're sandwiched between two groups....then watches as t'Mahren fires at Team Two..and misses which from this angle she shouldn't have....and yet the other team wouldn't have noticed::

Chaz -> ::uses Tal Shiar codes to try to hack the enemy ship shield generators::

EvietMahren -> # ::unconsciously holding her breath as the trap is sprung, and she sees an older Romulan with salt-and-pepper hair toward the back of the crowd::

 

ACTION:: 2 MORE SHIPS ARRIVE AND THE AREA IS STARTING TO LOOK LIKE A LOT OF ANGRY HORNETS ..... One of our support fighters suddenly explodes to our right......

# ACTION> 6 of the real guards are down. The others, realizing they've been duped, began to scatter, running for the safety of the main building.

ACTION:: t'A takes out one of the small fighters, as does Chaz.....

ACTION> One of our support ships is badly hit, and dives directly into one of the large gun ships, exploding against it's hull, but also gamaging it's drive...it begins to list and slowly starts to arch away

ACTION> One of our support ships takes out another scout as it moves to avoid Chaz's weapons fire::

 

Laehval tTemarr -> +t'Rex+ Ie, au might need to. We encountered some resistance here and have just eliminated the threat. What lies inside is unknown, however.

KhreRiovtRex -> +Laehval+ Do what au can, we have damage, and may have to put down and take to hiding until it's clear to retrieve us....however, that is only the backup plan...I'd rather destroy these first....

taehjae -> Rekkhai we are loosing shields ::continues to firs on the enemy vessels::

Laehval tTemarr -> # ::She leads the team forward into the communications array.:: Everyone stay sharp. There may be more guards within.

KhreRiovtRex -> Ok...so we hae to keep them behind us, we'll have to try to draw them to follow us, the ground teams need a bit more time....
