The Manticore met a new alien race, the Belosians, beyond

Deep Space 4, out on the far frontier of the Federation. This

race employs undesirable humans as their local "agents" and

have huge starships made of an unknown materials. A9 and

Sovak were working under deep cover with the Belosians and

guided Manticore to the Belosian invasion fleet. A recon mission

confirmed the impending attack and now Manticore has raced

back to DS4 with the only plan left - to use the PK onboard DS4

itself, to begin a chain reaction just as the Belosians fly by.
