RES Talon Mission Briefing 51601.07

 

The crew that remains on ch'Rihan have teamed up with a resistance cell, consisting of dissenting Tal Shiar that disagree with the new regime, and a number of Galae officers that have taken refuse from persecution and sure yy'a at the hands of the coup leaders.

Having found out that there are several cells working to coordinate an attack on the Othan and Tal Shiar combined force, the crew is helping the resistance to create a more efficient plan. Evie's information should prove most helpful, as her 'friends' have been able to supply information from area's that had been off limits to many.....

t'Kallen> :: walks back over towards the Talon crew:: I've spoken with several of the other cell leaders.....they think that the plan that you and the other engineer....tr'Pexil I believe au noted....is sound and will be a great help in blocking their sources of information and communication.

t'Kallen> :: turns to look at t’Mahren:: Others are 'skeptical' at best, as to the 'nature' of your friends.....but for my part of this, au all have been straight forward with your information...I for one.... welcome au help

t'Kallen> We have alerted the other cells to be on standby. We can coordinate and inform the other cells to begin mobilization in just dev siuren. We just need the Khre'Riov's approval to begin. She is still ranking officer for the time being

t'Kallen> Though I have received some coded messages, that various high ranking Galae and Tal Shiar have been secured by our people in a safe location , to ensure some leadership is still in place once this is over...

t'Kallen> I do na wish to wait too long, coordination is the key and if we wait too long for her decision, we may have to give the order to begin without her

Laehval tTemarr -> I do na know where she's gone. I assume she is resting. ::Glances to where t'Rex disappeared.:: She should na be too difficult to find, ie?

Laehval tTemarr -> ::With a slight dip of her head, she gestured for Lerak to continue his work and stepped aside to have a word with t'Kallen.:: Ie?

M_K_tKsa -> Inoculations. Before anyone leaves, they'll need inoculations. :: finishing the calculations on her ISD::

Lerak trPexil -> :: a simulation ram on a second display, several...many locations on a global map were dancing in red ::

EvietMahren -> $ Simonton> ::looks up, surprised-but-not to find the "communications officer" hovering in the doorway:: I know -- logically, I know. We've heard directly from her. But there's still this insidious little voice in the back of my head... ::allows the sentence to hang::

t'Kallen> :: pulls out an ISD and pulls up an aerial recon holo of a bombed out building:: We had already given her the message that there were rumors that the Daise'Khre'Riov had been mortally injured in his "attempt on the Fvillah, which I still believe is garbage......but....when I passed her this....... she reacted much as I feared she would. You may have to be the one that leads this attack

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> ...that doesn't trust it? That thinks she's laying somewhere, either dead or dying?

EvietMahren -> $ Simonton> ::pursing his lips, nods once::

M_K_tKsa -> ::glances towards t'Mahren, gives a slight nod of acknowledgement::

tAehjae -> :: wonders where tVatrix has gone and looks around for sight of her::

EvietMahren -> ::looks to Morgana, noting that her contacts need to deliver the updated vials::

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Kallen> :: in a low voice to t'Temarr:: Galae forces searched afterwards, and found the burn remains of several of the household staff.....and a child

KhreRiovtRex -> However, before they could complete their search, enemy forces were closing in and they had to leave teh area...

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Lets out a breath, peering at the report before handing the ISD back.:: I understand. Even at the best of times, a report like that... ::She waved a hand.:: I shall speak with her. Prepare your forces and we will be ready to go when they are.

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Kallen> Ie....I will see them ready to depart.....I will give the word that we commence all groups in dev siuren..

tAehjae -> :: sees tTemarrs face and walks towards her as she leaves tKallen::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Turns to t'Aehjae as she heads back for the others.:: Ie?

tAehjae -> Rekkhai is something wrong?

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> ::crosses, pours himself a drink from the set on the table::

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> ::lowers himself onto the chair opposite him, studying the way the drink clings to the sides of the cup::

tAehjae -> Last time I saw her she went towards that room.

M_K_tKsa -> ::na that many are paying attention to her, starts to prepare a hypospray, if nothing else she can at least make sure that the Talon crew is inoculated even if the rest of the group hasn't a lick of sense::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Nods curtly and heads away, searching for t'Rex.::

t'Kallen> ::giving orders to her troops, turns and points towards tKsa, then to the RAC's::

tAehjae -> :: moves to other dheno around giving the instructions on where to be when they are to move out::

ACTION : several of the Galae officers that had been with t'Kallen's group walk over towards the Talon group:: We were told to get inoculated, and to ask au all for where au wish us to be assigned. This detail has been ordered to supplement au numbers and report to your leadership:: looking at several of the others::

EvietMahren -> $ Simonton> It was a different world -- one I think you caught the tail end of, coming in to service. But working here, it brings with it some understanding, if not agreement. 'Course it also helps to be up on your Plato and Aristotle.

Lerak trPexil -> That floral arrangement woman... :: he wondered after all this time if she was simply neutral in everything, unaware of what to come? ::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: a young officer walked over to t'Ksa:: Rekkhai, I have had some basic medical training. Do au require assistance doling out the vaccinations so we can get everyone ready to depart?

tAehjae -> :: to the Dhenos:: Au will split up into 5 man teams and cover cirtical areas. ground troops au will be ready to lead the way when its time. ::continues talking to her teams::

 

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Finds where t'Rex is brooding over the news she'd gotten, not surprised to find her alone.:: Rekkhai...

EvietMahren -> $ Simonton> ::nods, looking up as the doctor enters::

M_K_tKsa -> ::flips a hypospray to him:: Just point and shoot.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: spinning her kaleh in her hand, watching the blade:: Ie Laehval?

Disheren maenak> :: to t’Ksa:: ie Rekkhai..I'll take that lot there...they'd not survive long without au help and vaccine

EvietMahren -> $ Doctor> ::holds up a hypo spray with a bright blue cartridge:: We've managed to boost the efficacy of the antiviral agent. It seems to have a broader range of application.

Laehval tTemarr -> Our forces are nearly ready for deployment and t'Kallen wishes to speak with au about the plan. ::Her eyes fall to the blade.:: She also shared the news with me...

M_K_tKsa -> ::opens her mouth to argue, but decided it's not worth her effort now, hands over an ISD:: Go forth and inoculate.

tAehjae -> :: instructs her teams to visit tKsa before departure.::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: slowly pulls the blade across her thumb, watching the fine line of green well up from the small knick:: Menkha Laehval..........I needed ......some time to think....

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> ::looks up:: tr'Granus?

KhreRiovtRex -> It's all been for nothing, hasn't it?

EvietMahren -> $ Doctor> ...has stabilised. He's not out of the woods yet, but he's stable.

KhreRiovtRex -> Var'lon and Deihu tr'Valdrin, they had such high hopes of making things better, and then they’ve had us chasing all over the place. We played by the rules that the others forced on us........and in the end, we were all betrayed yet again....

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> And production?

 

KhreRiovtRex -> And the one thing I have left to think about, is as much as I want to rage, and go off and stick this blade into a few I can name right here and now.....I have to think back to what Var'lon has shown me. Of how he tried so hard to change me. The harm I've done to this crew and others, flying off hell bent in a rage for vengeance....

KhreRiovtRex -> As much as I want to here as well.......I can na justify putting au all in danger yet again for my vengeance.

EvietMahren -> $ Doctor> Our replicators are being programmed as we speak, and, if we need, there are other resources available.

EvietMahren -> $ Simonton> But our replicators are hardly enough to tend the population. ::grimacing::

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> ::looks to the doc:: I'd say we need those resources, Doctor.

KhreRiovtRex -> I have failed my family, this crew, everyone.... ...

EvietMahren -> $ Doctor> ::nods, once:: On it.

tAehjae -> ::walks over to tKsa with oi of her teams:: Rekkhai, all have been instructed to visit au before we leave.

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> And Doctor?

EvietMahren -> $ Doctor> ::pauses, turns:: Yes?

Laehval tTemarr -> Rekkhai, may I remind au that the reports are unconfirmed? Au might rail and rage all au wish, but do it when this mission is over and au have time to mourn. The only way au can fail your family and your crew is to give up before we even begin.

EvietMahren -> $ Alexander> If you have an updated vaccine, we'd appreciate an allocation for field deployment.

EvietMahren -> $ Doctor> I didn't -- ::stops, seeing the glare he's now getting from the station chief:: Fifteen minutes, sir.

M_K_tKsa -> ::watching the preparations in progress::

KhreRiovtRex -> It wasn't so much giving up without giving some benefit to au all, but I was thinking of...perhaps I could be of better use as bait or distraction.....if I were to.....turn myself in...they'd be focused on my ship and not on the incoming attacks.....
