RES TALON MISSION BREIFING 051512.10

 

The crew has joined with a resistance cell of joint Galae and Tal Shiar officers, working on a plan of coordinated attacks against the Othan and our own Tal Shiar that have staged what evidently has been a coup disguised as protecting the home world against another coup. t'Vatrix has relayed some of the plans that the other cells have planned as a coordinated run, but we realize we need other matters to go our way as well. Pexil and Laeh have come up with an idea to work on some sort of virus that would gather intelligence as well as disrupt the system. Others, are still not convinced this coordinated attack is the best idea....

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Elbow to elbow at the nearest scavenged computer terminal, Laehval rattled off engineering jargon for half a dozen different carrier methods for the virus they were building.::

M_K_tKsa -> ::reading through the latest medical reports about the pandemic that they all had been researching when they first arrived on ch'Havran::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Nodding in agreement. She shifted a bit of code over to Pexil and continue to write more on her console, fingers drumming rapidly on the characters. Ie, seemingly normal. Like a ... ah... ::Her eyes brightened.:: ... a diagnostic program. No io questions those when they are running in the background.

Lerak trPexil -> Ie, a background process. That's the delivery method at least. What message are we sending?

Lerak trPexil -> Using their transmission perhaps, but I need to capture the transmission first.

M_K_tKsa -> The population affected by the contagion is pretty diverse as well as widespread. Has any io been plotting the clusters to determine if there was any sort of pattern? I know that the governmental overthrow is the primary target and concern, but without identifying where these pathogens have been introduced and how, this little rebellion is going to be facing the same issues that the current populace is suffering.

I helped to create the data network in the station, which will be the main point of attack for our friendly little virus and spread to all the Othan and Tal Shiar vessels like a real disease.

M_K_tKsa -> Global pandemic. And you haven't been the least bit concerned about the people you've been bringing on board, in close quarters with others, haven't been affected. From what I read, both planets are in a panic.

Do au have an idea how frustrating that is? The genie is out of the bottle and no one even bothered to track where it went so we can put it back in the bottle.

M_K_tKsa -> And why is that when I ask questions I'm considered "fighting" when all I'm trying to do is get some answers? ::pauses:: I'll grant au that my last outburst a moment ago was rather confrontational but I just because I'm asking questions does na mean I'm contradicting the groups plan of action.

t'Kallen> Maenak, if au notice we do na have many of our medical staff here. We lost many early trying to help those affected. Many others, were hunted down when trying to find a cure. We've got several others at a hidden location working on the problem, and there are 'others' that we've heard are also working to determine the path forward and if there is some sort of way to stop it
