RES Talon Mission Briefing 51511.12 -

The crew of the Talon has managed through contacts made through S'Bien's family, and some of t’Mahrens' friends have managed to arrange escort to io of the hidden bases. Surprising to all, were that there were both Galae and Tal Shiar officers working together against what appears to be an orchestrated coup. We are about to head into a meeting to find out a bit more of what has been happening.

Word has been given that some Galae and Tal Shiar family members had been rescued or relocates when things started to go back, so it may take some time to find yours if you go looking.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Curious what had t'Rex out of sorts. She walked into the briefing room with the others and took a stance near the wall rather than sitting. Whatever it was, she wanted to meet it on her feet.::

t'Kallen> If au would all take a seat. I am sorry for the odd assortment of seating, but as we're working out of a cave, hoping na to get ourselves yy'a, it will have to do.

M_K_tKsa -> ::wonders if anyone else is as confused about what's happened lately as she has::

t'Kallen> I know that many of au, have been off world for quite a bit...dealing with some sort of task that the Fvillah had set au to. The particulars were ne ever fully made clear to us, but even to our Tal Shiar forces.......well, to many of us, it made na sense to send io ship only, to quell a problem in the outer systems

t'Kallen> And to pull an officer that we had all heard had given her resignation, also made na sense, so we knew there was some personal agenda going on there. I'm sure that au all are aware of what au have all been doing, however some of the orders we were receiving, were contrary to our protecting the homeworld, the people, and letting these offworlders from Othan take over positons of power in our own structure.

t'Kallen> Evidently, some sort of move was being made, and word managed to slip out, when several very highly placed Deihu or officers were warned to na be in the capital at a certain time and date. ::pausing a siuren, looking at S'Bien:: Fortunately au Di'ranov and Ri'anov, from different orders knew they had to leave and quickly, however, they noted that others that they worked with and respected but did na embrace such radical views, had been told to come to the capital for meetings that day

Koga S'Bien -> ::nods::

 

t'Kallen> Au parents, made a choice. A choice that many others have made...to protect our world, and na let these outworlder’s take it all from us...Several key deihu were warned and removed, and hidden. However, something set off the Daise'KhreRiov and he went to confront either the Fvillah, Proconsul or the Head of our order...we believe it was tr'Merk, but they said he attacked the Fvillah, and we've na been able to find out anymore. If he's alive, or if the Fvillah is still alive, but we do know that tr'Vren and tr'Merk managed to survive, though tr'Merk is gravely wounded.

t'Kallen> Within hours, there was an attack on the capital, some sort of bio weapon, and it managed to yy'a many of our leadership, both Galae, Tal Shiar and Deihu. We did have word however, that we were to hunt for Talon that she was bringing something that could hurt the homeworld.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looks at Koga ::

t'Kallen> We know we've na always seen eye to eye, Galae and Tal Shiar, but we also know to what lengths au have went to protect our world. I was hoping that au could bring us up to speed as well?

 

tAehjae -> :: looks between her crewmates::

t'Vatrix> Unfortunately, both my Daise Maenak and I, had some issues where we had been detained, however, the crew has all been greatly involved in something far greater for quite some time. t'Mahren has people that have information, we'll have to greatly depend on her information quite soon I suspect

t'Vatrix> but t'Temarr, my XO...she has a much greater prize. I will let her tell au about the proof she has managed to procure.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: nods to Laeh to come discuss the Stinger::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Listens on with intent, glancing back at tr'Pexil::

KhreRiovtRex -> I will also want Koga to explain himself in detail as well...

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval's eyebrows rose a fraction as she glanced to t'Rex, a bit surprised that she'd let the secret out so easily, before they knew they could trust these people. Still, no one really knew where the Stinger was and couldn't torture it out of anyone, so she supposed there was no risk. Without moving from her spot against the wall, she nodded.:: Ie and we were almost killed for the secret that the Othan fleet wishes to keep to themselves. We have proof that they are building ships in secret, ships designed with great weaponry, with the intent to use them against Galae.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::With the basics covered, she looked to Koga.::

KhreRiovtRex -> : t’Vatrix stared off, looking oddly distracted, and suddenly unfocused::

tAehjae -> :: watching those in the room carefully, watching for anything that may be off::

t'Kallen> ::turned to Koga:: We have information from au family, they saved a great many, but how did au know what to do, when au were all captured? Had au been aware of everything in advance?

Koga S'Bien -> Ie, it's quite the ship the Stinger is. Highly maneuverable, super agile and state-of-the-art. Not sure where the Othans got the tech to build them... ::look to t'Kallen:: Ie, during my medal ceremony my rianov informed me of rumors she heard regarding a possible uprising. Fearing the worst, we formulated a plan in the event of such an occurrence.

 

KhreRiovtRex -> ::that jerked t'Vatrix's head up: She had only meant him to detail his part of the crew's capture, na the details of the Stinger

Koga S'Bien -> I would use a special code word she authorized to make it seem like I had defected to the Tal'Shiar... well, that is, the Tal'Shiar in power now to gain information of what was happening as well as to rescue key members of the crew, such as Khre'Riov t'Vatrix.

t'Kallen> We were working with some of those that have been assisting us as well, that we've come to trust here so far. They've na tried to yy'a us or given us over. Quite the opposite:: turns to t’Mahren:: It is said in some of our emergency meetings, that au people have their own network on homeworld, and au may be an asset to get us back into the capital, and perhaps even close enough to deal with some of these ....that we will want to have a word with

tAehjae -> ;: glares at Koga upset that he did na let his teammates in on this secret of his.::

Koga S'Bien -> ::had to do what he had to do::

t'Kalllen> Au do na have to divulge any one, Elements know we have to protect what secrets we have, so that the Fvaht Othan don't crush us all as they seem to intend.

KhreRiovtRex -> we can na let them find all of our people, our fleet, crews...and secrets

KhreRiovtRex -> t'Vatrix> ::slowly turns to look at t'Mahren, hoping that indeed, that she could get them back where they could do something about what was going on. She knew she could na divulge details, but needed only a simple reply.

M_K_tKsa -> I assume that your band of misfits have been doing *something* to combat this issue?

t'Kallen> We've been disrupting Othan supply lines, taking out groups that are going around 'nuetrualizing treats, or capturing political or influential family members)

t'Kallen> Aye, and as au family was in the news, they were protected and moved to a safe location.

t’Vatrix -> We will try to reunite au with them sometime hrrau the near future, but just na yet, it is too dangerous. ::looking t'Ksa directly hrrau the eye

EvietMahren -> I do have contacts in the capitol, though they are not the... typical channels.

t'Kallen> The only question will be trying to find out which if any survived the attack. A coward’s way.....

t'Kallen> I do na have specific word for all of au, there is na help for that. Once we get more control on the ground, if au ship has survived, we will do our best to get au back to it as well

 

KhreRiovtRex -> I'm sure au all will want to discuss some together, what we've told au, if au can truly trust us and do what au can to help, we would appreciate it.

t'Kallen> Khre'Riov, au are io of the ranking officers remaining at large for au branch. I will need to speak with au hrrau more detail shortly, as au will need to make some decisions. But I will leave au to au crew to discuss what we've updated au with today.

M_K_tKsa -> Honestly, I'm not sure how we're going to dig ourselves out of this hole. This political espionage is so way out of our expertise that it's not funny.

t'Vatrix> Most of us have served together for many years, some better than others, some I"m sure au would like to forget. What is going on now, may be too big for just us, or even with help to get out of thihs mess.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval didn't seem all that surprised. None of it was a surprise, really. They'd heard rumors of much of the same over the net.::

t'Vatrix> As they said, some of au families have been assisted, and hidden. Leah, we know where both of aus are. t'Ksa and S'Bien, both of au as well.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::looks over to t'Mahren, trPexil and tAehjae:: We do na have specifics for au. I could na even venture a guess after we had been gone so long.

M_K_tKsa -> Na to sound callous, and I think my family would understand, should I really be grateful that another entity has 'protected' my family? Who's to say they aren't just holding them in case I don't go along with whatever convoluted plot the next crazed faction comes up with?

tVatrix> I have asked much of au over the years, but .... but. :: trying to stay focused:: I will na ask au to just abandon au families and other ties, if au feel that it is more important to go to them, than to come with us, in what most likely will be a suicide mission.

tAehjae -> I have na heard from or of my family in years. I fear the worse for them.

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to t'Ksa:: Because I was given io of my family code words. From what was said to me, tr'Shalor himself had managed to retrieve au family. I do na however know where they are right now.

KhreRiovtRex -> :: nods to t'Aehjae and rests a hand on her shoulder.: I will be glad to have au by my side.

KhreRiovtRex -> That Lerak, is what we will have to sit down and work out a plan for. It seems, I am currently the ranking Galae officer that is in contact with this resistance cell. Others are in hiding, so it will bave to be up to us for a bit, with help from others we know :: looking over to t'Hahren:: I hope that we can still rely upon au and au associates that have survived? They managed to get us here in good stead....
