RES Talon Mission Briefing - 51510.01

 

t'A and Pex had been sent back out to the RAC to retrieve t'Mahren and tr'Dranov, but while bringing t'Mahren back to the house, tr'Danov managed to escape after his bonds were loosened. tr'Danov's main objective is to recapture t'Vatrix and rescue Koga from the Galae traitor that had fooled them to believe he was Tal Shiar.

After discovering tr'Danov missing, t'A and Pex discussed attempting to flush him out and recapture him before they told the others......

KhreRiovtRex -> ::turns to Laehval::I hope that tr'Vitram and t'Mahren working together can put us back in touch with other hidden Galae and those Tal'Shiar sympathetic to our cause against the Othan invaders..

tAehjae -> :: starts looking around the brush around the shuttle::

Koga S'Bien -> ::wonders what's taking t'A and tr'P so long::Laehval tTemarr -> I think it can. ::She nodded, glancing toward the office.:: The basic intel I filed through seemed sound enough, but we need more detail. How are you feeling? Did they injure you? ::She threw a questing look to t'Ksa with a slight head not at t'Rexan in silent query.::

KhreRiovtRex -> I'm fine, I was mostly ill at first from the agent that t'Mahren knocked me out from, and then when I tried to escape when I was led into a room with angonizers set prominently around the table so they could begin questioning me, Koga decided he needed to pummel me a bit. All the bruising I took was from him...

KhreRiovtRex -> His intentions, as he and his companion sound good, however, he went about it the wrong way. There are secrets to be kept, but there are others, that should not as well.

Laehval tTemarr -> Ie, mainly for sport, locked in storage. ::She pulled her eyes from Koga to give the Enarrain her attention. Nodding, she pointed to the alcove in the hall where she'd gotten them weapons before t'Rexan's arrival.:: If the ship is sound and undamaged, if there are no trackers placed on it, if it has na been sabotaged, then we only need to board and go. But we need a destination.

KhreRiovtRex -> tr'Vitram had mentioned a few locations were on his ISD, but he was going to confer with t'Mahren. If she does na object, I would suggest that we try to meet up with those closest to us here, so we might be able to change ships before an alert goes out to look for us. Do au still have the RAC we came here in? With the one we came in, that gives us two ships. We could possibly program io to head in the opposite direction, something obviously ....to lead others off?

KhreRiovtRex -> Any weapon is better than none at the time. If we could impose upon your family io more time, to 'borrow' said weapons, I'll personally see to it that they are replaced at a later time.

Lerak trPexil -> :: nods and goes the direction she indicated ::

KhreRiovtRex -> As for Koga....as I said, crew matters are for you to decide. If his information leads us to safety, we will definitely take that into any consideration for any wrongs he's done against us.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She snorted.:: A most unfortunate reunion, but io that has proven fruitful. The Maenak has rendered her unconscious.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She turned toward the door and scowled.:: They have been gone far too long. ::Moving to the hall, she placed her hand on the panel beside the alcove to open the weapon's locker. After the door slid back, she picked out several items, including a couple of rifles, a trio of pistols, and two daggers.::

Koga S'Bien -> They've been away too long... I wonder if they lost tr'Danov. If he managed to escape, he could seriously compromise our mission. He'd also be probably waiting for us to leave and head back to the ships.

KhreRiovtRex -> Her?... Au don't mean? Oh Leah...I'm sorry, this really has been an intrusion into your personal life, io that I know au had worked so hard to get back reconciled with au Di’ranov

 

Lerak trPexil -> :: He pretended to search the ground for broken twigs or branches, but did not have enough practice in doing so ::

tAehjae -> :: cautiously moves through the brush looking for signs of tr'Danov

KhreRiovtRex -> ::looks from Laeh to Koga and back:: Might as well give him io. He either helps us, or doesn't. He needs to prove himself to us

Koga S'Bien -> That could prove to be the distraction we need. tr'Danov still thinks I'm a Tal'Shiar operative and may seek me out.

KhreRiovtRex -> I'm half tempted to give him the hot end of it, but I'll leave that to Laehval......

KhreRiovtRex -> The other, he made a show of it, that he was setting me loose, and told Koga he had intercepted the real courier, that he was Galae and he was just a Tal Shiar Dupe, just as trDanov was. it's also why he drugged tMahren, to make it look like he believed her to be io of the Tal Shiar as well

KhreRiovtRex -> So, if tr’Danov bought it, tr'Vitram was sent by the rest of au to rescue me and bring me back to Galae, and that Koga and t’Mahren were Tal Shiar that were expendable.

 

KhreRiovtRex -> But, as I said, that's if he bought any of it.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She left the weapons on the table and picked up one of the disruptor rifles, carrying it to Koga. She held it out to him, but didn't release it immediately. Gaze narrowed, she frowned.:: Au do na yet deserve our trust, but we have little choice at the moment. Au are too valuable to kill... for now. But betray us again, even as a falsehood, and au will na live through it a second time.

tAehjae -> :: moves slowly down what looks like a trail of recently broken branches::

Lerak trPexil -> :: He wondered if there ever was a chance if things had been different ::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: watched Laeh with approval, she had indeed learned much and had become a fine leader in the time she had taken care of the Talon while I was transitioning to life planetside::

KhreRiovtRex -> :: walked over and picked io up as well:: Shall we all go then? He may still be in the ship, but just being questioned by t'Aejhae

KhreRiovtRex -> @:: tr'Danov watched as the pair started to move towards his position, and slowly moved to further conceal himself, and try to work around behind the pair and back towards the ship and house::

Laehval tTemarr -> Duly noted? ::She slapped him hard and hissed.:: That is na answer for a superior officer! Au are walking on thin ice, S'Bien, and io step away from falling through.

ACTION:: Pexil is na sure, but thought he saw some movement off to his left, back towards the ship

 

tAehjae -> :: sees a creature run through the brush near her and sighs::

Lerak trPexil -> :: to t'A :: I...think.. but back towards the ship..

Laehval tTemarr -> Better. ::She gave him another glare and shoved the rifle at him before turning to rejoin the Enarrain and t'Ksa.:: I am going to look for our wayward officers in case they've gotten themselves in trouble.

tAehjae -> :turns back towards the ship:: I will head back aus way

KhreRiovtRex -> Koga, go watch her back. i will stay here with Morgana and make sure he does na get in here and makes any communications from here.

Koga S'Bien -> ::Nods:: Ie, very well. ::checks his weapon and follows::

tAehjae -> :: starts making her ay beck towards the shuttle:

KhreRiovtRex -> @ tr’Danov almost made a move towards Pexil, but did na see a weapon on him to take, and waits to see if the other might have io::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Continues towards the ship, but slowly ::

Koga S'Bien -> ::Looks around the field::

tAehjae -> :: makes her way back to The shuttle and sees Pexil in the distance:: Au find anything?

KhreRiovtRex -> @::debates if worth trying to take the weapon, or just make for the ship, seal it and contact trGralik's people for help....which he could have done in the first place if he had thought of it

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She another glance at S'Bien, she tucked her dagger into her belt and snatched up one of the disruptor pistols. At the door, she detached the ISD from the wall there and pulled up the exterior sensors so they could find their missing crewmen. Once outside, she consulted the map and headed into the forest to where the ship was parked.::

KhreRiovtRex -> had thought of it before leaving the ship in the first place....

Koga S'Bien -> ::follows along::

 

ACTION: Laehval's ISD had the coordinates of the ship that they had hidden, as well as showed that of the RAC that Koga and t'VAtrix had arrived on parked just over the rise of the next hill. Life sign scans showed 3 life forms nearby, but who's was which?

tAehjae -> :: steps inside the shuttle to make sure he was na there::

KhreRiovtRex -> Morgana, were there others in the prison as well that au escaped from? The servant that feed and helped me with my illness, had mentioned that she had heard that there had been others coming and going from there

M_K_tKsa -> Ie, there were a few others. The elder tr'Temarr and a few of his collogues. We've left them in the care of some of the resistance.

Laehval tTemarr -> This way. ::She said quietly, gesturing for Koga. Her eyes scanned the trees as they neared the first RAC, searching for Lerak and t'Aehjae.::

Koga S'Bien -> ::nods and follows, keeping his eyes peeled::

tAehjae -> :: looks around the shuttle carefully under consoles and in cubby holes anyplace someoi could fit or squeeze into::

 

ACTION:: ISD lifesign readings show that all 3 of the humanoid readings, were starting to converge upon the same coordinates

 

Lerak trPexil -> :: circles the shuttle as if inspecting it from afar ::

KhreRiovtRex -> Wait, Laeh's di'ranov was there? I had heard he had been turned over by his wife, but no idea that they'd have locked up someone that important in the dregss of that place

tAehjae -> :: carefully clearing the shuttle::

KhreRiovtRex -> So she's had to face both her mother and father through this...... I do na envy her, the emotions she must be fighting through right now

Lerak trPexil -> :: Nearly hisses :: t'Aehjae?

 

ACTION>@ :: tr'Danov jumps out and throws a large rock at tr'Pexil, pegging him squarely in the head
