The Manticore was called to assist a convoy under attack that

turned out to be a trap when the convoy ship sent over a

boarding party to capture the crew. After losing control of

the ship, a stranger transported over with A9 to explain why

they took over. The group is led by Benjamin Harris, a former

Black Ops commander and A9's old mentor, who had been

abandoned by Starfleet and left to die more than a decade ago.

Harris is back to take his revenge and believes he has convinced

A9 to help him use Manticore to neutralize Earth, using the

Planet Killer. A9 has now talked Harris down from his totally

destructive goal and has released the Manticore crew, in order

to subdue Harris's second, a dangerous sociopath named Xavier.

Now a strike team will take the cargo carrier quickly, to neutralize

Xavier and rescue Matt McFly, still alive and held prisoner there.
