A Senior Staff meeting has been called to inform the crew of the change of XO and the disposition of Captain Kwai. Dr Hentrick and two of Will's staff will accompany her on her transfer to the Langford and then on towards SF Medical.

Jas -> ::milling about in sickbay taking care of menial tasks::

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::heading for the meeting::

STSF_BluRox -> :: enters and crossed to desk, sits down and activates the view screen::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::Enters briefing room::

Heather Jamieson -> :: Enters right after Kasuga ::

Rue Wydown -> ((Nickles and Jas...that meeting includes you guys too))

August Jax Robinson -> ::Walks With Will::

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::Takes a seat::

STSF_BluRox -> ::contacts the Langford and discusses in no certain terms, is anything ill to happen to Kwai::

Jas -> ((Even though I'm not head of medical? ::confused face::))

Christina_Nickles -> :: heads to the meeting after being called for::

Heather Jamieson -> :: Sits next to Kasuga ::

STSF_BluRox -> ::signals Transporter control to give over to the Langford to control the beaming process::

LtCmdrRobinson -> So we are letting someone else have Kwai and you just got demoted from XO. This meeting is going to suck.

Rue Wydown -> ::is fascinated with the shiny new Republic, or new-to-her-Republic because the last time she saw the inside of this ship it had more holes in it than swiss cheese::

 

Rue Wydown -> ((Yep))

STSF_BluRox -> (since the CMO is off on a special mission, you are sitting in as acting CMO for now)

Jas -> ((::grins mischievously::))

Christina_Nickles -> :: makes her way down the corridor to the meeting room::

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::enters the conference room::

Jas -> ::suddenly remembers he as a meeting to attend to, shakes his head, and brusquely heads out::

Rue Wydown -> Action> Kwai is beamed away and is now someone else’s problem.

 

ACTION:: AS Nickles started to leave, the confinement field was lit up by the Langfords transporter beam, moving Kwai to her new quarters::

 

August Jax Robinson -> you bring any hand grenades?

STSF_BluRox -> and Dr Hentrick and 2 security officers beam over as well. Partly to guard Kwai, partly to watch Hentrick. Make sure he goes to help and not run away.

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::holds out a chair for August:: Not this time.

Rue Wydown -> ::slightly turned around, and manages to enter the conference room looking a bit dizzy:: Oi! Brilliant. Love it.

Heather Jamieson -> :: studies Kasuga for a moment ::

Jas -> ::arrives at Ready Room and makes his way in::

STSF_BluRox -> :: Acknowledges the transport with the Langford and wishes them safe journey back to Earth::

Jas -> ::err, conference room::

Christina_Nickles -> :: gets to Will.: Did you know that The Captain was transported off the ship? (can’t remember if IC I heard the conversation or not)

STSF_BluRox -> :: cuts the commlink and turns to leave the Ready Room and head to the Briefing Room::

August Jax Robinson -> ::Takes a seat:: are you feeling OK?

Rue Wydown -> Got me a bit turned around. Thought it was two rights then a left. Not three rights then a left. ::toothy grin::

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::nods at Nickles:: Unfortunately I know.

LtCmdrRobinson -> We'll go get Kwai back later, when she finishes eating everyone on that ship. For now, its not our problem. ::shrugs::

STSF_BluRox -> :: exits and walks down the corridor to the Briefing Room, still feeling a bit sick to her stomach from having been poisoned again, but knows it will pass::

Jas -> ::glances around the briefing room hesitantly before taking a seat in a corner::

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::has a seat::

 

Christina_Nickles -> Sir :: worried voice:: Where are they taking her?::

STSF_BluRox -> ::Enters and feels the bad vibe to the room, and the hesitant looks her way. Some uncertain, some unhappy, surely all about Kwai being sent away::

Rue Wydown -> ::plops down in a chair, taking a look around at the crew and trying to figure out who's who::

STSF_BluRox -> I will update you all in a moment on what I feel you should know, and what is her personal medical treatment. Some of it is nobody's business but her own.

Christina_Nickles -> :: takes a seat next to the Robinsons::

STSF_BluRox -> :: makes her way to her seat and notes that Wydown had managed to find the place....

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::glances at Wydown, remembers her from the Republic-D rescue::

STSF_BluRox -> Alright, I'll cut right to it. SF has ordered that we send Kwai along with Dr Hentrick back to SF Medical to aid in her recovery, if it's at all possible.

Rue Wydown -> ::sees the guy from sickbay has changed into a proper uniform, grins::

Jas -> ::listens attentively, visibly curious::

STSF_BluRox -> Yes, I know that we were able to change back both the Dr and Jas, but from what Dr Hentrick told me , it was a different process than was used on Kwai.

Heather Jamieson -> :: frowns ::

 

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::double frowns::

Rue Wydown -> Don't looks so sour. She'll get the best treatment SF can offer. More so that the equipment available on this ship.

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::frowns anyway::

STSF_BluRox -> I would have preferred that she be taken care of here, but Dr Hentrick assured me that he would need a few other scientists and some of the equipment that we just don’t' have here to take care of her. And, she'll most likely need a counselor afterwards. Unfortunately, our only counselor would not be a good choice for this, as they have had prior issues together and well, she's still not back online either.

STSF_BluRox -> I've checked and she should be back online within the hour. And I'd wager she's not going to be very happy. Engineering, make it a priority to get some people on working to fix those holo emitters that were destroyed.

STSF_BluRox -> :: notes the looks around the room:: Look people.....I didn't want to do it, I'd have kept her here if it were at all possible or feasible to have completely treated her here, but face it....we're not set up for this.

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::is sure everyone will know the minute Holly is back, because Holly rage is special::

STSF_BluRox -> In the meantime....SF has decided to send Commander Rue Wydown to stand in for Kwai until she's fit again for duty. If it proves that she may not return, then we'll have to discuss what the rank and promotion structure for the position...

Rue Wydown -> And would your Cap'n want you all to be so dour about it?

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::being quite and respectful, but pretty sure Kwai would want them to shoot Rue in the face and blow the other ship up and save her::

Rue Wydown -> Aye, been on assignment to HQ since then. Fillin' on temporary basis when ships need command help for leaves, medical issues, deaths, commitments, accidental dismemberments and......well........ehm

STSF_BluRox -> Now...as a lot of SF Medical has bene off dealing with that epidemic on Alterus 3, and it's spread to a few nearby worlds; and now this mess with so many that have to be transformed if possible and returned to society, we find ourselves short on medical staff.

STSF_BluRox -> Regardless...we have you a field promotion to Ensign. You've been nothing other than helpful and have earned the right to an raise of rank to Lt JG.

STSF_BluRox -> Alright the Ltjg Arten...as SF Medical is strapped and needs our CMO for some time still, we've only got nursing staff You get to be our Acting CMO

STSF_BluRox -> Ok, so since some of our other med staff were appropriated to help with the re-transforming and relocation of the many victims here, we're a bit shorthanded. So nobody get seriously injured.

STSF_BluRox -> Next..... Jax, I need your engineers and science to get those holo-emitters fixed before she wakes up. If you don’t', we'll all have hell to pay.

Jas -> ::nods, biting his tongue and remaining silent::

STSF_BluRox -> Our mission choices were to either stay here and help transport and relocate the victims (which many of these other ships are equipped to do as well), or go on a small hunting expedition.

August Jax Robinson -> ::Glances at Will:::

Rue Wydown -> Perhaps a few upgrades, if possible, might help smooth the way, hmm?

Ayumu Kasuga -> ::rubs chin::

Christina_Nickles -> Hunting?

Rue Wydown -> Hunting for what?

STSF_BluRox -> Some of you may recall, if you were still on the ship, that a small fleet of swift ships make an attack run on the Republic after our teams were down on the planet

STSF_BluRox -> we gave chase, but had to get back to make sure that our ground teams were ok. Those ships are still unaccounted for, and may not even know something has happened here to J'Rom.

STSF_BluRox -> We want to make sure that they prey upon no other ships, no other planets or colonies, etc.

Jas -> ::mutters:: And nobody else being turned into lizards....

STSF_BluRox -> I for one, am up for the hunting expedition....They tried to blow up my new ship. That mekes me very angry! Very angry indeed (insert Marvin the Martian here)

Christina_Nickles -> ::nods slightly::

Rue Wydown -> Ooooh. Shooting things.

STSF_BluRox -> They have killed, attacked, and committed genocide. These ships are to be stopped at all costs. We picked up 4 during the attack, and 2 others supporting them.

Ayumu Kasuga -> Quite,

Heather Jamieson -> Are they believed to be in the sector?

STSF_BluRox -> So...a vote from you all. Stay and assist the victims (we'd be just another set of hands), or go find these ships?

Ayumu Kasuga -> We're going to need to need some additional backup then

LtCmdrRobinson -> ::thinks Blu is trying to distract him with this hunt, and it is working::

STSF_BluRox -> ::turns to Heather:: They were small, they'd have a limited range. So have to be working off a nearby planet, moon or asteroid.

Christina_Nickles -> Find the ships sir.

LtCmdrRobinson -> We should probably take those ships down. We are the best equipped to do it.

Ayumu Kasuga -> I agree. Let's go find these guys.

Jas -> ::observes the exchange silently::

STSF_BluRox -> They most likely have some ground bases. We're to find any and take those out as well.

Rue Wydown -> And how are our defenses looking? Our shields?

STSF_BluRox -> Ah...you've not see our new ablative armor, have you? We'll have the various department heads show you around our new bird and show off her attributes.

Rue Wydown -> Shiny!

STSF_BluRox -> Ayumu. I believe you were at the helm when we were attacked by those ships. I'd like for you to find the files and send a copy to everyone so that they are familiar with these ships maneuverability, their tactics and their size.

Ayumu Kasuga -> Can do, sir

STSF_BluRox -> Heather, here is where we use your astrogation lab. You get to plot out possible vectors that they may ahve taken when they ran off, and determine where the best places would before us to look for them.

STSF_BluRox -> Just us Ayumu.... too many will scare them off. I'm going to trust your navigation, to make us seem invisible. Use anything and everything to help hide us or make it look like we're heading somewhere else?

STSF_BluRox -> Will...check your inventory, make sure you did not use all your grenades. You may wish to contact the Langford before it leaves with Kwai, and refill our stores from what they have.

Christina_Nickles -> :: not sure she is comfortable with this new commander but will do her job and be polite about it.::

STSF_BluRox -> I will go deal with Holly, as she's going to be furious. I would like to make sure she does not cut off the life support again.

Rue Wydown -> And the damage to the cargo bay?

STSF_BluRox -> Very well...Crew Dismissed and to your jobs.

STSF_BluRox -> if you'll excuse me. I have a very angry Commander about ready to come back online, and if we would like to have air to breath, I'd best be there when she does.
