RES Talon Mission Briefing 51507.16 - Season 20

 

The crew has returned to pick up Laehval, her father and one of his aides, and have now returned with them by flitter to the farm communities' small medical clinic to see to his care. Meanwhile, Koga has wakened t'Vatrix in her holding room.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Thankful for t'Aehjae's help. Her father was not particularly heavy, but still a burden.::

tAehjae -> :: getting Leah’s father into the building just before the sun begins to lighten the area::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Inside the clinic, she helped her father to one of the beds so he could lie down and regain his strength. She sat down beside him and looked up at t'Aehjae.:: Would au fetch him a glass of water?

M_K_tKsa -> ::still rather suspicious of everything, especially in light of Koga's actions, but trying to keep her poker face on in the process::

Lerak trPexil -> :: Turns and heads back to t'Temarr's father then stands beside them looking around the room ::

M_K_tKsa -> Let's just see how many people we can cram into io room, shall we? :: finally approaching the exam room after gathering some gear::

ACTION: As it is early morning, several of the farm workers are now starting to be up and about their work on the community farm

 

KhreRiovtRex -> and some small vehicular traffic is noted in the distance, but nothing indicative of a search just yet

KhreRiovtRex -> Yes.....one vehicle appears to be headed towards the main cluster of storehouse buildings.....

KhreRiovtRex -> (yet..not yes)

Laehval tTemarr -> Ie, and with luck t'Mahren's contacts will let us know where we can find them, which is another reason why we need to find t'Rexan. Wherever she is, t'Mahren will be.

M_K_tKsa -> ::scanning the older man::

Laehval tTemarr -> Trilus> ::Drank a sip or two of the water Laehval held to his lips. He was in very poor shape, mostly from dehydration and starvation, but his body also showed signs of extreme abuse.::

tAehjae -> :: having walked out of the small room. goes and standing near a window and peaks out carefully::

 

ACTION: The single vehicle continues to approach, heading directly towards the complex........

 

M_K_tKsa -> While we should be able to move about freely, I'm afraid that Etre tr'Temarr needs rest, fluids and several solid meals on his bones.

tAehjae -> Pexil, Let tTemarr know there is a single vehicle heading this way.

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded to t'Ksa, glad it wasn't anything more serious. Glancing to Lerak, she swore under her breath.:: Have t'Aehjae keep watch and secure the door. If it looks as though someone is headed to this building, let me know. We may need to hide. Or mount a defense.

 

ACTION:: The vehicle comes to a halt by one of he buildings where a few of the workers were starting to stack some of the fresh vegetables and a tallish woman stepped from the vehicle, scowling towards them, clearly annoyed that she had to come do this menial task herself.....

 

tAehjae -> :: watching closely to see in which the direction the vehicle is going.::

KhreRiovtRex -> $ ::continued to stare at him until it was clear she would no longer speak with him and Koga took his leave::

tAehjae -> Ie its a woman and shes heading towards the area where they are stacking vegtables

Laehval tTemarr -> Au'rial t'Temarr> ::Twenty-four hours hadn't changed the disposition of Laehval's mother in the slightest. She was still as sour-faced and shrill as ever. As soon as she reached the stand where they were selling vegetables, she started spouting orders.:: You there! I need some of these and some of those and a basket of that over there to restock my vacation home.

KhreRiovtRex -> $::dropped her head into her palm and sighed heavily:: Koga knew she had no idea where her bondmate was, and the news that the dishern maenak had given that he had been involved in a suspected coup and attempted assassination on the Fvillah, made na sense. After all of this, he would na just randomly go attack....

EvietMahren -> $ ::enters the room after Koga has vacated, carrying a tray with her:: ::holds it up, indicating food on it with a nod:: Well, they're not ready to kill you... yet.

I was a verrul and trusted au both, and now ....now I only face more interrogations.....useless interrogation, as I do na have any of the information that they would want. Laehval tTemarr -> Trilus> ::Winces again as he moves and his ribs scrape together.:: Can au do anything about these blasted things? Set them properly? ::Sighs with relief as some of the pain goes away from the hypo.::

Laehval tTemarr -> Au'rial t'Temarr> ::As she turned, t'Aehjae got a very good look at her face and her unpleasant expression. She glanced over toward the clinic, still frowning.::

M_K_tKsa -> There's na working bone knitter here, unfortunately. We'll have to bandage them the old way and let time heal the wounds until we can get au to a better supplied clinic. The pain relievers should help ease some of the pain.

tAehjae -> :: closes the drapery:: Pexil tell tTemarr that its her mother and she does na look happy.\

Laehval tTemarr -> ::Laehval surged out of the room to the front window. Opening the curtain, she peered out and then snapped it closed hurriedly.:: She is alone? t'Aehjae, did au see anyone else?

KhreRiovtRex -> $ I hope they are smart enough to get away from the area, and na waste time coming after the rest of us

tAehjae -> Na na oi else she was alone but she did look this way

Laehval tTemarr -> Trilus> ::Lays back down, scowling and holding his side.::

tAehjae -> She met up with those filling boxes.

Lerak trPexil -> Could we take her out?

KhreRiovtRex -> (She don't like Galae, don't think she'd go for the dinner and movie thing Pex! lol)

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She began to pace.:: Ie, we could, if we lured her in here. ::Quick glance to Lerak.:: We could also use that flitter she brought with her. Our RAC is likely still hidden in the forest outside of her home. We need to get it back if we are to rescue our Enarrain.

ACTION: As a stroke of luck would have it, the woman finished pointing to the workers to load the food into the rear of the vehicle, then decided she needed to pick up some headache medicine and began walking towards the clinic building

 

tAehjae -> :: gently moves the curtain and peers out:: t’Temarr she is walking this way. ::moves away from the window quickly::

Laehval tTemarr -> Au'rial t'Temarr> ::Striding with purpose, she waved her hand at the door, but it was locked. She pounded with irritation.

Lerak trPexil -> :: Looking at t'Temarr ::

M_K_tKsa -> ::tosses t'Temarr a hypo...and while it was na the kaleh she'd like to use, it was handy enough::

Laehval tTemarr -> ::She nodded to Lerak.:: Let her in, tr'Pexil. ::Snatching the hypo out of the air, she readied herself.::
